Rikki turned to look at Danny with a concerned wince. "You okay, screech? That looks pretty nasty."
The book he was blindly reaching for apparently took offense and having so little of his attention. It spin through the air like a ninja star and slapped him on the cheek, then flapped away like a demented book-bird hybrid.
"The restricted section sucks," he said pitifully.

Danny picked up her special book and then set it back down when she realized it wasn't going to work because her eye was swollen shut.
"It huuurts."

"If we don't find something soon we'll go home. Promise."
Just as he said that he pulled down a small leather bound book. He flipped it open, expecting something else ridiculous, but quickly found that it was filled with bits of info about artifacts. He flipped through it excitedly. "Wait, I think I found something."
He set the book down on a table, pressing it flat so they could both look at it. "There's a thing in here called a Remembrall. It looks like it tells you what you've forgotten?" There was probably some mistranslation in there. Rikki was too excited to really fuss about the details of old-dude writing. "The book says it was last seen in some big castle in the middle of nowhere."

Castle? A castle in the middle of nowhere meant adventure. Oh and her memories. Yeah whatever.
"Really?" Danny asked, moving closer and attempt to squint at the archaic text, which hurt her eye. "Ow ow ow." She wanted to be excited for him, she really did, but it was lost in the sea of painful beestings. "Can we go home now?" she asked miserably.

Rikki winced, looking at her swollen eye again. "Yeah, we can go home." He considered taking the book with him, but when he looked back at the guard minis and their rabidly improving speed, he chose against it.
Instead he pulled out a silver pen and wrote the important details on his arm. He wrote the location in big block letters so he wouldn't forget to look it up. "Alright, lets go."
