Phee wasn't the most steady with all the ground shaking, but she seemed to be handling it well enough at this point, the splash of water didn't bother her as much as it did the others. She squeezed Cecily's hand gently to calm her. "It'll be okay Ceci, really. I'll keep you safe."

Llyr was looking at the newest arrival to their fold, eyes narrowed a little. Something about her seemed off, but he didn't know what exactly.

Ylerian gave a smile of thanks, and brushed herself off carefully. "I sense something strong but I can't tell if its you all here or something else." her words were quiet, thoughtful.

"In any case, we need to keep moving to get anywhere." Llyr adjusted his bag, and started walking. A brave first move really but honestly he wanted to know what was going on!

"Yes lets keep moving." Phee started walking behind the Butterfree then, keeping a hold on Cecily's hand. The others could come with them or not as they wanted, frankly she was wanting to get to the bottom of things, these anomaly's, it was enough to put someone on edge.

"A commotion..." Ylerian's words quiet as one long ear flicked slightly. "It's muted...as if from a long off distance..."

(My head is foggy, so hopefully this makes sense)

“There is it,” Myrrh whispered, pointing ahead to a small shack. “Wait right here,” she requested, motioning to a large bush that the pair of then could safely hide behind, undetected. “I’ll be right back.”

Carefully, Myrrh crept towards the door; she didn’t want to make a sound; at least not until it was appropriate to do so. Upon reaching the door, she pulled out the second envelope, the one containing a note, the original deed, and a large wad of money. She was tempted to keep it, but managed to remain content with the few large bills she had pocketed earlier. Setting it on the door mat, she rang the doorbell and bolted. Before the chime had finished playing, she had made it to the bush. Turning to her friend, she made the “shh” motion and watched as the owner opened the front door.

“Landorus?” Terra asked aloud. The name sounded strangely familiar, but she couldn’t quite place it. Maybe it was just because, like her name, it was rather earthy sounding. Still, she couldn’t help but think that it sounded familiar. She definitely wasn’t aware of a shrine, but if that was the case, it did make sense. “Maybe that is part of the shrine to whatever has been causing this weird weather! It would be like team rocket to try and hide something like that…”

The path of the water looked obstructed, but she couldn’t be sure, it was too dark, even with the light coming from above. Launching her hidden move, at the dead end, though, she saw a way through, a windy, watery path through the rubble, and it was completely clear on the other side. Not the route she would take, though, she would stay ashore. Terra had no urge to jump in. “I feel that pull coming from the same direction the water is flowing.. There is a lot of rubble, but I think you can get through. And maybe the water will reach the surface? Even if it doesn’t, though, it is at least flowing the right way.”

“Yeah, we are both still rather wet from before,” Holly replied to Cardice with a slight nod, not enough to shake him too much though.

“Well it isn’t me,” Holly joked, with a forced laugh, in response to Ylerian’s comment about sensing something strong. Only bits and pieces of what the others said made sense to her, but she had no idea how she could help a bunch of legendaries.

Reluctantly, Holly followed. Staying with the group seemed the best option, but she couldn’t really think of any other options, other than staying behind, by herself. What was she getting herself into?

As the two violet-hued children neared the indicated shack, Margarita hesitated slightly as Myrrh instructed her to hide in a nearby bush. She hopped on her tiptoes, tilting herself sideways as though the slightly boosted height would help her see past the obscuring curtains in the front window. Her curious eyes eased into a frown at the failure to catch any glimpse of an answer, and she flashed a quick pout before turning attentions to the bush, hopping inside with a single, quick hop.

Wriggling herself to the edges of the foliage, she set her chin on a flimsy branch and peered out from the leaves. As Myrrh settled in beside the grimer, the front door creaked open, revealing a confused man. Leaning out the doorway, he tried to locate the source that caused the ringing doorbell, but both directions held nothing to indicate who had the motives, at least within immediate sight. The man gave a slightly amused smile, turning back around to head back inside after the prank, when his eyes finally fell on the front stoop.

"What's this?" he asked himself, crouching down to pick up the envelope. There was no address, so it was obviously left here with purpose. Whether good or bad, the man opened the mysterious letter, and his eyes went wide. Wait, what was this? Could it be..? Wide-eyed, he took another glance around the area, but the results remained the same. Regardless of whether or not the good samaritan could hear, he called out into the night, "Thank you, thank you so much!"

Margarita's goofy grin reappeared, "Aww, Myrrh-Myrrh, he looks so happy! That was nice of you!" Scooting back into the confines of the hiding-bush, the purple sewage monster sat herself back down and poked at her accomplice, "Hey, I kind of want that chocolate bar now. You know, the one that I got from the guards at the mansion?" Blinking, another thought suddenly came to her, tied to what else was held in that bag of pilfered goods, "And what are we going to do with those pokéballs? Aren't there pokémon in those?" They were just carrying around a bag of prisoners... that was kind of weird.

"Ah!" Calcifer exclaimed, pinpointing the dewgong features immediately as they were mentioned, "That makes sense! That's so cool, I didn't know that one of those stars could turn one of you into a mermaid! It's nice to meet you, Kirsi!" Sure, she seemed to talk a little weird, but that seemed to only make her all the more fascinating. She didn't talk to too many people in this new tongue, did she?

A concerned frown crossed her expression at the dewgong's explanation of why she was here. Calci walked a few paces towards where she had indicated, noting the flow of this underground river. "Oh no, the lakes are drying up, too?" she tapped a finger to her chin in thought, "Well if it's anything like this, maybe the water fell deeper into the earth when the ground shifted. Or maybe... there's more than one legendary that's causing problems." Either way, it was difficult to imagine what they would be able to accomplish! However, there was no time for self-doubt; they wouldn't know unless they tried, right? Every little bit might help.

Calcifer nodded to Terra's possible conclusions, moving around the statue in the water a bit and pushing it to see if it could be wrenched from the water's floor -- luckily, it didn't appear to be muddy, so it slid with little problem. "Yeah, it looks like something that could decorate a shrine. That's what I'm thinking, too. Maybe we should bring it back, somehow?" she queried, though another shove proved it to be just a bit too heavy for a couple of kids to take with them for a trip. After all, it took two grown men to shove it in a tree, and even they seemed to be having some difficulty! With a sigh, she stepped away from it; Kirsi made a good point, too, "Or maybe it would be better if we just tell someone where it is. Someone with more upper-body strength..." Was this really the reason why the weather got so emotional lately?

Pulling herself out of the water, she tried to squish some of the river from her boots without having to remove them from her feet. "It's worth a try. We know where to go, it seems, just not the means to get there. Or the knowledge of what to do when we do find the place," she agreed. Following Terra's suggestion, she glanced up through the hole the both of them fell through, noting the rubble-ramp that they could climb out with. Turning back to Kirsi, she motioned with a jab of her thumb up through the gaping hole, "Do you know if the river meets up top? Maybe we could travel together that way, up there." With an apologetic grin, she added, "Not all of us can travel by water, unfortunately." Even if it would be more convenient that way... Calcifer herself would sink like a cinder block!

* * *

As though to make an extra point on the matter, Cardice wrung out his frilled ears of the excess water after Holly's quip concluded. While this wasn't the worst day he'd had in his lifetime, it was certainly... one of the more unusual ones. At least all these people seemed nice, even if they may or may not be similarly crazy. Legendary or not, this was dangerous!

With a sigh, the helioptile seemed to deflate on Holly's head. <<Well... it's best to travel in a group. There's a little less danger that way,>> he mumbled, as much comfort to Holly -- she seemed more than slightly distressed! -- as it was for himself.

However, Ylerian's comment caused Cardice to quail a bit, sitting more upright as they started forward again, <<Wait, c-commotion? What sort of commotion?>> What were they really going to be up against here? When it came to gods with temperaments, was it really all that wise to go strolling up to one of them and asking them to please stop? <<What's going to stop them from just taking us out when we come into view? H-How angry are these guys?>>

As if sensing so many were deciding to come and help the weather calmed even further, the high winds died down to more of a breeze with an occasional gust, the ground quieted, and even the rumbling in the sky quieted for the most part. With Landorous calming, the other two were a little wary on continuing on with their shenanigans, recalling what happened the last time they'd gotten out of hand. They weren't keen on a repeat.

The trio could feel everyone converging on the area. The power of the other legnedaries standing out most to them, Havard approaching from the skies. Of Brenny on the ground, Escher, Venka, Phee, & Cecily coming in from another ground direction. Of the Rayquayza twins and Ialu gathered in one area. Then the smaller powers. Switch, Callie, Lightning, Riley, Hazan, Fei, Llyr, Holly, Cardice and the rest. Even the ones who found themselves underground (Kirsi, Calcifer, and Terra), and all the rest... the Trio felt all of them, felt the determination of many wishing to help them. To set things right, and it helped the old men begin to work cooperatively again.

Coming down from the sky the three assumed their Therian Formes, and began to pace the area of the shrine, driving Team Rocket off further than they had been. Before long the clearing was just that. Clear. There was still some remains to the shrine, though it was in dire need of repair, or outright rebuilding thanks to Giovanni's construction team.

In his helicpoter that was flying away from the area as quickly as possibly, he had the television on, and his eyes narrowe at the special report he was watching.

....the documents that were given to me show that the land that Team Rocket was building on, was purchased by Giovanni who learned that it had a shrine to Landorous on it and upon learning that wanted to return the deed to the land to the original owners so the shrine can be rebuilt and maintained....

The television was switched off in anger and he let out a yell of anger that made the Persian beside him as well as his pilot both jump a moment. He'd get even.... oh yes he would. For now, he'd merely bide his time, and make plans. The next one wouldn't fail he was sure of it....

The Trio moved amongst the people that were showing up, before Landorous spoke, his words carrying on the wind thanks to Tornadus, reaching those far off like before. Thank you...all of you....our apologies for destroying so much. Though we are old, we're not exempt from mistakes. Now...we will give thanks to all of you who heeded our calls.

There was a twinkle in their eyes as they faded from sight.... the feeling of power washing over everyone. Their thanks was indeed passed out amongst them all in the form of rewards. It might not have been new homes, but it was something.
