Aldrich was glad to see that his little gamble had played off and that Tenrai had seemed to be ridden of that harlot's curse. However, with his newfound control over himself, what did the angelic being decide was the best course of action? Oh why it was none other than to get his teammate caught up in another spell. Before Al could feel even the faintest glimpse of relief he would be pulled by some ungodly force that felt as if Michael couldn't even have resisted. However, luckily for Al, the moment before and as he was being pulled into Tenrai's back, he took note of the motions and sigil that the Reaver had placed on himself and he made damn sure to burn it into his memory so that the next time something like this happened, he could simply stop himself from being a victim, if that was even possible.

By the Gods, Old and New, it seemed Aldrich wasn't the only one hit by the Reaver's spell this time, as the Succubus too had been pulled into Tenrai, along with his Shadow, which ultimately delivered the killing blow to the Lust Demon by crushing her heart within his grasp. With all things said and done the duo, or trio if you counted the Shadow, would finally get a taste of sweet sweet victory.. or not. Before they could celebrate their other prey -- or hunter as it would seem -- arrived on the battlefield in all their demonic glory, surging with power that truthfully made Aldrich's jaw clench as with the rest of his body as he was frozen in place. The little Vampire had never felt such raw and destructive energies before and it left him with a feeling of regret.

He had spent too much energy on the fight with the Succubus, but really, even then, how was he to know what he would face next? Sure he had been warned by Amias, but the man didn't set the foes to this grand of a scale. Hell, even if he had saved his energy, could he even put a stop to what this Desire Demon was about to unleash upon them? Even with all of supernatural greatness, Aldrich couldn't even begin to keep up with the Incubus. One moment he was there charging his attack and the next he was gone. The moment after that he was leaping back from a strike from the skies. As much as he wouldn't want to admit to it, Aldrich let out a sigh of relief at the sight of Amias, a large weight lifted from his shoulders for only a brief moment as the reality of the situation hit him once more.

Amias only put a stop to his advance, but even then with the reinforcements could they stop this foe? 'You two...have certainly made a mess of things here.' Again Aldrich's jaw clenched, this time not before of regret, but because of shame and embarrassment. True he had kept things on his end clean, and it was theortically all Tenrai's fault, but he could have done something about it and didn't. They had one job: one shot on kill, nice and clean, and what did they do? They blew up the entire ******** building. They were green, too green, and it made Al question what Amias saw in them. upon receiving his next set of orders the Vampire simply remained silent, standing still as he tried his damnedest to focus on the now because he didn't have the luxury to do anything else with what they were facing. That was when Amias made it known that he intended to deal with this on his own to which Al started to object but stopped.

Yeah, sure they had messed up badly, but even then was this a time to teach them a lesson on the matter? But Amias.. the way he spoke, the way he carried himself towards the Incubus, he was serious about this no doubt. So serious that it made the little Sorcerer that Al was scared at the thought of jumping in to help. Again the Incubus would vanish from sight before Aldrich could even notice he was starting to move, but he wasn't the only one, Amias too had made his move. The two pillars of power had a brief skirmish on the ground before they took to the skies to finish things. From the sounds of clashing it seemed as if Amias and the Incubus were even, but when the black mist rolled in it became obvious that now the Incubus was on the defensive.

Eventually the mist gave way to black feathers, and from there the Incubus went from defensive to defeated. The Desire Demon was on his knees at the feet of the Tenrai and Aldrich, and that was when Amias turned to Tenrai and in a very condescending way, which he was right to do so, gave the angelic warrior a brief tutorial on how to execute a villain which was gruesome, even when held to the Aramilian Vampire from Nocturne's standards. After show and tell was over, Amias sprouted his wings and took to the sky before creating a Hellgate, pointing to it with his spear before repeating the orders he had given them before. Aldrich remained silent, simply responding with a nod before stepping towards the Hellgate before his Shadow positioned itself between the gate and it's master.

The Sorcerer stopped and sighed to himself, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips hidden underneath the shadow of his hat. Reaching up with a single hand Al would press his hat down and tilt it a bit more forward before taking a step towards his Shadow. Said Shadow met him halfway, and the two shared a moment as they both raised a hand shoulder high and clapped their hands together in a celebratory high-five fashion. Unlike Amias' disappointment with the dynamic duo he had brought along, Aldrich was proud of his shadow counterpart's accomplishment. Stopping short of the Hellgate, Al would turn to face Tenrai while holding out his gloved hand, and should Tenrai take it, the Vampire would pull him into a brief hug before stepping through the portal, taking the first step into their new adventure.

This means when others cast spells, or emanate high amounts of energy, you can see their aura. This also means you can detect magic in an area, meaning if an area has something magical about it, you can feel it. At expert rank, you can determine the source in an area. Each source of magic has a special signature, meaning a magus will be able to recognize the energy of a person if they are expert rank or higher.

Trainees can only deal with cuts, by novice deep cuts, Adept rank you wont bother with a broken bone, masters can deal with an entire sword going through your body, and you can deal with a removed arm or leg, as well as internal damage to the organs.

The range of how far one must be from the other is vast, to be able to communicate one must be within the same country as the target. However, to be able to speak with them they must know each other. In the case of a progeny and a creator, they can talk to each other from across the world. The creator can also physically effect their progenies from anywhere, making them feel a longing to come to the one who turned them.
