Tsuna MikiMore than half way up the staircase awaited Aurelius and oddly a radiant sunlight shining through the dense forest. Tsuna had to shield her sensitive eyes from it considering how she had hardly gotten a wink of sleep the night before. At the top, Micha'el skidded to an abrupt stop causing all the girl's to almost fall into him. On the flat roof surrounded by four blade shaped corners, the wolf released that they were far above the canopy. Adjacent to them was a man standing with his back turned peering out into the vast skies. His skin looked like it was devoid of all nutritious and cracking at the seams with green ooze seeping out. He still wore the Sunspire robes expect his were tattered and tainted from all his malice.
Lottie already equipped herself to fight as her stance tensed and Aoi followed the same measures holding her wand at her waist. Tsuna raised her hammer and began channeling heat into it as she waited for an opportunity to strike. Aoi nervously asked if this man was their target to which Lottie gave a small nod. She could distinctly hear Micha'el grinding his teeth before her animal ears twitched from Aurelius hysterical outburst. He spoke with such pose and elegance similar to the rest of the Sun Elves, but clear his voice was defiled. He may pretend to have a standing ovation strutting his ego, yet he'll never be accepted as one of the predestine elves again. As he attempted to convince them about the Vardent's purpose, while turning to them in a charismatic fashion, they saw the ferocious green glow in his eyes and shooting out his fingertips. His pointed ears were now wilted and the beautiful piercing he has were practically falling out. Tsuna would have showed him compassion if his greed and hate wasn't a contributing factor to his ghastly appearance.
He claimed that all races from the Orcs, to her own race, and even the Aethers underestimate the Vardent's power. They have always inhabited this world and fought to kept their existence alive. Laughing uncontrollably again, he found the Vardent's efforts meaningless as he conjured purple flames in his palm throwing it at them. Micha'el shouted a warning jumping aside with Tsuna to dodge the attack. They were separated from Aoi and Lottie who threw themselves on the other side. Tsuna hadn't realized how close to the edge she was until Lottie pointed it out. Her focus was haywire and she needed to get her head back in the game. Aurelius threatened the team by insisting he'd kill them first before they plummet to their deaths as he hurled another purple flaming ball. The bomb headed straight for Lottie and her scream stopped Tsuna's heart, but a magically barrier erected in front of her. Aoi held up her wand bravely projecting as much arcane energy as she could to protect her companions. The starry sea swallowed up the explosion as Aoi gave the signal for her teammates to move.
Micha'el and Tsuna shoved their differences aside and worked like a unit once more as she accepted his command to distract Aurelius. Transforming her hammer into an ax, she lunged ahead and began swinging swiftly. In the background, she could hear the pages of Micha'el Aria being flipped before he stopped on a specific page. The spell he cast was the same one he used on her when they first fought. White light extended from the book creating a dome of seraphic energy blocking out all nature and interruptions. The girl needed to by time for Micha'el to charge up his energy to transform into an angel. Luckily, Micha'el wasn't limited to this spell alone so he could fight while the spell energized itself. Aurelius confidently dismissed the spell, purple magic crackled at his fingertips and a roaring could be heard from above. Tsuna quickly distanced herself as the invisible comet was coming down. Micha'el had an uneasy intuition like her and at that moment at massive black rock covered in intense purple flames crashed down into the platform. A session of the platform crumbled leaving a large hole in the roof. Purple stone and green flames shot out breaking what was left of Micha'el dome causing him to endure the hit in the process. "Micha'el!" Tsuna shouted concerned seeing that his nose bleed and eyes burned. She ran to his side while Lottie catapulted past her with a glance, suppressing a line of spectral glaives on Aurelius. The tainted elf spun out of the way ready to attack Lottie again before Tsuna intervened. Aoi sang into wand mic encasing them in arcane magic and boosting their strength. Her and Micha'el were protected by a bubble giving the blonde time to recover from the blow. Tsuna decided to fight fire with fire and jumped up to Lottie holding out her handle. The handle was red hot glowing brightly as it collided into Lottie's glaives setting them ablaze. Each glaive that hit jetting out sparks that rained down on Aurelius. After she hit the ground, she turned and slammed her hammer into the brick blow loosening them around Aurelius. She kept pounding away at the flooring hoping to guide him close to the edge or making him fall through.

I just wanted you to be my brother... ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▒▒Micha'el Maues▒▒▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Dry your eyes now baby, Broken wings won't hold you down. You'll take flight soon baby, You'll be lifted up. And you'll be there.is the prize.
Feel it everywhere and you see it growing, Enemies arise and the hate is flowing, Shattering the moon and bloodying the sky.
Theme for the battle.Lottie suddenly saw a great combo ready for the taking as Tsuna used her red-hot weapon to bring fire to her glaives. Lottie sent the glaives flying at Aurelius one after another, each one flaming and sparking as they soared through the air. Aurelius did what he could to dodge them and didn't expect Tsuna to come crashing down, breaking away some of the floor with each passing second. "Children should never meddle in the affairs of elves!" Aurelius shouted, casting out his hands and spawning two words from purple magic. Aurelius darted aside to dodge more flaming glaives that began to sear his skin as they passed, then he dashed forwards with immense speed towards Tsuna as she brought her hammer down on even more of the floor. With his blades held up and ready to come down on her like pincers, Lottie could see the horrific sight about to happen. But a flash of white light saved her. A glowing white ethereal shield appeared in front of Tsuna, colliding with Aurelius' blades and blowing him backwards in the process. Lottie looked behind Tsuna, and there was Micha'el on one knee and with his palm outstretched. He had thrown his magic out to protect Tsuna. "Keep going!" he said, coming to stand as Aoi's arcane barrier faded, releasing him back into the battle once more. "Feel the power... of the Vardent makers!" Aurelius shouted, announcing the massive power of the true Vardent. Micha'el dashed towards the magical white shield and equipped it, it's holy aura vanishing and revealing a pristine white-metal kite shield. He stood beside Tsuna as she continued her work, she was the only one here powerful enough to break down the floor beneath them. "Break this whole place down! I'll worry about keeping us safe!" was all Micha'el could see before Aurelius released a burst of power from his body. A green ominous darkness surrounded them, a small gust of air rushed by them as suddenly the air felt thick and heavy on their shoulders, making it hard to move as whispers began to penetrate their skulls. Aoi's singing stopped as she squinted and tried to repel the whispers. They were alien... she could not understand any of it, but it hurt to listen, it was like something was trying to get inside of her body, taint it like a parasite. "Go, go.... go..." Micha'el kept trying to keep Tsuna's spirits high, but all of them were beginning to feel the effects of the Vardent magic. Aurelius said "you feel it, don't you?! The magnifiscent power of the Vardent makers..." he shook his head, "now you know why.... anything you do to stop them is futile. There is nothing that can stop the Vardent, NOTH-" "ACCEPT ME." another booming voice said, it was in their minds, that was for sure, but it sounded like it came from miles and miles away, in an instant any heat in their bodies vanished, as if an icy blast of air filled the sky. Aurelius stuttered, horror on his face, "no... no it's not true!" Then suddenly the sky turned gold. The clouds above roared as they parted to let through a beam of golden light, so hot it could have burned. It came down over Aurelius and only for a few seconds before vanishing completely. It had pushed him down to the ground and now he was gasping for air, as if the immense power of the sun pulled all the air from his lungs, like it stunned him and blinded his eyes. His Vardent magic stopped and suddenly Micha'el stood up, breathing normally and hearing nothing more of the whispers in his head. He exchanged a confused glance with everyone else, they were all thinking what the hell was that? but they had to act quickly, before Aurelius recovered. "Tsuna, now's your time to prove to me I can trust you. Knock this place down and came straight back to me! I won't let any of us fall."

Tsuna MikiThe combination of Tsuna's fire with Lottie's glaives illuminated the skies as they rained down on Aurelius. The tainted elf dodged the bombardment before cursing at the children for meddling in elvish affairs. Spreading his hands out to the sides, purple magic shot out of his palms and accelerated his speed towards Tsuna while receiving serious damage from Lottie's searing glaives. Lifting his blade high above the wolf, everyone and everything seemed frozen in the moment of terror including Tsuna herself. Closing her eyes and shielding herself she waited for a surge of pain until she heard the collision of his blade cling into another object in front of her. Opening her eyes cautiously, a white transparent shield was erected in front of her and the clash sent Aurelius flying backwards. Micha'el had cast the spell from behind her with an outstretched hand trying to regain his stance. He commanded her to keep breaking down the roof of the tower which she obeyed immediately as Aoi released him from her own barrier.
Aurelius wasn't finished yet as he unveiled the power of the Vardent makers while Micha'el retrieved his shield enhancing it and stood by her side protecting her. The blonde wanted her to bring the whole tower down while he devised a plan to get them all down safely. Suddenly, a green coverage of malicious darkness populated the area. The air became hard to breathe in and the weight on all their bodies increased as discouraging whispers pledged their thoughts. Aoi's angelic singing ceased and they were all trapped in a unbearable darkness as the voiced began to convince them to give up. Although, Micha'el repelled his advancement cheering on Tsuna to continue on her moments were becoming increasingly slow with each swing. He assured them that all their efforts are in vain but then a booming voice, one they have never heard, overpowered Aurelius. The voice sounded like it was miles away and in an instant the heat was sucked from the bodies and a cold blast filled the skies.
Aurelius panicked in hysterics as the skies turned gold and the clouds parted. A supernatural light from the heavens beamed down on the elf pushing to the ground and temporarily winding and blinding him. The light vanished in seconds and the green fog that overshadowed the team was gone. Their strength and normal moment returned and as confused as they all were they didn't have time to assess the strange phenomenon. Now was Tsuna's chance to prove that her teammates can trust her by knocking the tower down while he makes sure no one falls. She nodded and said, "Give me a quick boost!" Without much thought, she distanced herself a bit and lunged at him as fast as she could. Jumping onto his shield adding with his extra focus, she was catapulted high into the air. Heating up her weapon to a certain degrees as she fell, she flipped it around and made a clean shot through the hole that Aurelius already made earlier. That shot would travel down to the lower sections and would explode on impact collapsing the tower's base. Meanwhile, she'll smash the top bring both eruptions into each other and blowing out through the middle. Tsuna concentrated all her power to the flat end of the hammer charging it to its maximum potential. When suspended, she felt a pair of strong hands overlaps her own but when she looked at her hands there was nothing there. In that moment she remembered her father teaching a move that even he had barely perfected. She could hear his words in her ears as if he was there with her guiding her. "Clench your fists and yell at the top of your lungs..." She repeated to herself as she neared the roof rising her hammer up ready to bring it down. "ULTRA SMASH!" She screamed once her hammer hit the roof. Fire sparkled through the cracks and within seconds she had demolished the entire building. The only downside was that this attack used up all the power and strength she had rending her absolutely useless. She lost grip on her weapon and began to unconscious instinctively reaching out her hand or someone...anyone...Aoi...Lottie...Micha'el...

Feel it everywhere and you see it growing, Enemies arise and the hate is flowing, Shattering the moon and bloodying the sky.
Theme for the battle. With just a few moments to react Tsuna was the first one of the team to concoct a plan of action! She gave the order and Micha'el turned to face her, instantly knowing what she wanted to do. He got down to one knee and leaned down, holding his shield up. When Tsuna jumped on he thrust with all his strength to boost her high into the air. Micha'el looked up and saw Tsuna in the sky, she was a dot before the sunny sky. Aoi took in a breath, waiting for the inevitable crashing of her weapon into the tower, and Lottie was stilled keeping a watchful gaze on Aurelius, still blinded and stunned by the golden light. But something else puzzled her still, a perplexed look on her face that no one could notice. Who's voice was that? Why did she feel a rush of cold air although they stood upon the top of a warm tower in a hot location? Any more time spent wondering though was sacrificed as Tsuna yelled out her attack, announcing the beginning of the end for Aurelius. Heat rushed passed them all as Tsuna touched down and caused a cataclysmic eruption to the vardent tower. Suddenly the floor beneath them crumbled, gravity appearing beneath them as all safety vanished. Aoi let out a scream and Lottie felt overcome by vulnerability. She gasped. Micha'el, without the utter of a word or the break of a breath, pulled out a bright orange and purple feather from his pocket. It was fluffy, not strong and waterproof like most feathers. It was from the undercoat of the bird-mounts they used yesterday to get to the vardent forest. In one swift motion he flicked it out before him, a white bubble of light conjuring around it and dissolving it in an instant. The light vanished and as the tower began to collapse in slow motion four small balls of light rushed from the same spot, scattering and chasing down Micha'el, Lottie, Aoi and Tsuna. Then the floor collapsed. Aurelius let out a cry of both anger and fear as he began to plummet to his doom. Aoi closed her eyes in fear before a feeling of weightlessness overcame her. She stopped screaming and slowly opened her eyes. She was floating, hovering more like and falling very, very slowly. All around her a white light caressed her skin, as if holding her up, breaking her fall. The same was for Lottie and Micha'el. Micha'el was in fact staring deathly down, as if waiting for the unknown as he stared down into the rubble. His magic had chased Tsuna down he only hoped it had reached her in time. But then as the rubble continued to fall through the canopy of trees there was one blur that did not vanish into the leaves of the forest. Tsuna. Micha'el let out a gasp, feeling the weight on his shoulders lift as they all slowly floating down. Lottie let out a "YES!!!!" of triumph, "you did it Tsuna!!!" At the bottom the four of them landed softly on the rubble, rubble that stretched further than the tower originally stood. The chasm that the bridge had once covered was now completely filled in by the rubble of the tower too, and amongst the still settling dust Micha'el could make out vague shaped of elves on the horizon. They must have had to run back to evade the falling debris. He only hoped their tactic had not hurt anyone. "Tsuna" Aoi said, holding her hands together anxiously, "she's not moving!" Lottie and Micha'el instictively turned and began to climb, dive and jump over loose rubble as they attempted to get to Tsuna's side. Once there Micha'el pulled up her back in his arm, holding her head up with the other and feeling her red hair fall between his fingers as he did so. "Tsuna!" he said, grating his teeth together. He brought one hand to her temple and a white glow started at his finger tips. She was alive, thank the heavens he though, but then he said "WAKE UP TSUNA!"

Tsuna MikiTsuna hadn't realized just how much destruction she had caused nor did she notice the danger she had put her teammates in. The floor collapsed beneath all of them suspending them in the air before gravity claimed them. For a brief moment all seemed lost just as Micha'el retrieved a fluffy orange and purple gradient feather from his pocket. He plucked it from the beasts they rode in the forest yesterday and must have been saving it for an emergency like this. Flicking it before him, he cast a spell over it dissolving it in a flurry of white light that conjured a bubble. The bubble separated into four smaller counterparts and spread out to capsule the falling members. The first three bubbles got to their designated spots quickly, but Tsuna took some effort since she was a distances away from them. Warm light caressed her pale skin and the sensation allowed her to fall into a temporary sleep. The rumble plummeted past Tsuna along with Aurelius ultimately meeting his fate and being crushed under all the debris. Tsuna was to far and also unconscious to hear Aoi's congratulation shouts. As she drifted slowly to the bottom past the canopy, the bubble popped once it touched the ground gently laying her among the rubble.
The tower's remnants stretched out across the area including all the way over to the bridge where the brigade of elves had to have run away out of safety. Luckily, there were no causalities during the evacuation but Aoi thought Tsuna was gravely injured since she wasn't moving. Micha'el valiantly scaled and dived under rubble to get to her side. He pulled her up and attempted to awake her by placing glowing fingertips at her temple and shouting her name. Eventually, the girl's eyes fluttered open as she came to allowing her vision to settle for a bit before replying with some snarky remark. "Loud. I'm not dead. It would take more than that to kill me, you know?" She smirked and looked to her team exhausted. "My father's attack wiped me out. I'm sorry I scared you all."

Theme for the battle.Micha'el let out a small sigh of relief when Tsuna opened her eyes, sly remark or not. "I'm pretty sure your ego wouldn't let you die" Micha'el said, half-joking, half still irritated by what happened earlier. "Hey, you won us the battle, nothing to worry about!" Lottie said, holding her fist up as a gesture of confidence. Aoi then smiled and tilted her head, "you did great. I wish my team could have been here to witness the technique. Taking down a whole tower..." "Was an exceptional plan" Micha'el said, standing up and looking over yonder to the settling dust. "I think all the Sun Elves avoided the debris. Look." He gestured with his hand, everyone then looked towards the space where the small camp was that kept watch over the tower. There was a dome of orange magic coming into view, it looked like the sun, but it was see-through and as the dust vanished Micha'el could make out the shapes of elves on the inside. Micha'el cheaply exhaled. "They don't even look phased. I'm surprised you don't get along better with them, Tsuna. " "Yeah... well..." Lottie began, swiping her foot across the ground. "We should get back to the King, the quest is finished!" Micha'el was just pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose when he agreed, and together they passed the dome of magic. As they neared the magic vanished and a thrum of energy passed them, like a warm breeze. Landaras, the Sun Elf with short spiked blond hair came out to greet them, an odd expression on his face. "Team Sun" he said, "Landaras" Lottie replied. "That was a great spell you used up there to save us, the voice really creeped Aurelius out!" But Landaras didn't respond. Instead he stared down at the students, he looked unsure of what he wanted to say. "We heard the voice down here too. And in case you forgot, all our spells are hot like the sun. We called down that sunbeam after we heard the voice. There are bad omens in this world, Team Sun. As I'm sure your aware from when the Darkness fell over Occulas. But red carefully, there are far worse powers out there. Head back to the King and you can finish up your quest and return to Evermoon. You shouldn't waste your or our time. " And as soon as he was finished Landaras turned around, gesturing for the elven guards here to wrap up. Over his shoulder he said "There are some Striders waiting for you at base camp to take you to Sunspire." Lottie and Aoi looked perplexed, and Micha'el was overcome with frustration but wasn't given any time to say anything. "I thought Landaras was the more polite one of the Sun Elves..." Lottie said. "It sounds like that voice scared him too" Aoi then mentioned. Micha'el then looked between them all and asked "but what could scare the Sun Elves more than the Vardent... or even Lucifial?"

Tsuna Miki"That's true." she responded to Micha'el playfully although she could tell he wasn't completely satisfied with her. She'll make it up to him later when they have time to talk, but for now they'll celebrate their triumph. Lottie held up her first proudly as Aoi complimented on her technique for bringing down the tower. Tsuna began to looked around astonished that she possessed such a destructive power and even though it was an exceptional plan according to Micha'el, the results scared her a bit. "I did this?" She questioned almost dumbfounded as she rose to her feet seeing the dust settle up ahead. Micha'el noticed that the Sun Elves were safe from the debris with their encampment on the other side. A dome of brilliant orange shelter the elves and looked like a mini sun touching the ground. It was transparent enough to see the group of elves huddled inside although from their perspective they didn't look phased. Maybe she should take the time to get to know the elves before judging them after they confirm their finished mission with the King.
Everyone agreed and together they traveled into the sun dome with a warm breeze surging through them. Landaras, the elf in charge of this sector, came to them somberly while Lottie returned his greeting cheerfully. Lottie assumed the disembodied was a spell cast by their allies, but Landaras hesitated to take credit for that stunt. Landaras told them that they heard the voice too before casting the sunbeam down on Aurelius. He explained that their powers are sun related so the voice was an enigma. Suddenly his tone changed as he warned about the bad omens lurking in this world and that they should tread carefully before they run into more trouble. With that he suggested that they head back to King Sol to finish up their mission since their was no use in wasting both party's times here. Rounding up his troops to leave, he called over his shoulder telling them that their were Strides prepared for them to go to Sunspire.
Tsuna was indifferent much like her teammates as they questioned Landaras rash behavior and vague overture of the situation. Aoi thought the voice scared the elves as much as it did Aurelius, but Micha'el was skeptical. "That voice...sounded like it could have power over the Vardents. If it hasn't already. The Vardent's might be subjugated to the voice...their true master." Tsuna was just throwing that theory out there as she kicked over some lose rubble in the grass. "Anyway, let's heed Landaras's advice and not stay here longer than we too."
