I bought a vehicle...

Apparently a very short lived run of a vehicle. With issues. Every one apparently had issues. Which is why it was short run model I suppose. Gonna cost me 10K because i have zip credit. It was originally a 6K car. Didn't have nothing but a trade van and haggled them to put it as the entire down payment. Was after a 3K van originally but i'm pleased with this one. Has a huge dent in it and a few minor dents and dings, but the engine sounds purty and the gas mileage is better than that of said trade van (and is a V6 like trade van).

And let me tell you, work sucks. Not just any work. Staple hell.

See that top section where the door handle is? I make that. I staple vinyl around that. That section that holds the door handle? it has sharp poky things from the underlying substrate that like to cut violently into the skin. And the machine that makes those things? Just the vacform machine itself is about the size of my living room. of course it's much taller. Just to make THAT LITTLE PART....
Can you tell I love my job? lol

I make parts for ford in a factory i'm miserable in to afford my used chevrolet van.... lol

LIFE! IT EXISTS! Shhh tell NO ONE... is top secret....

Don't get me started on the actual handles... or that little spot that holds the clicky power window buttons (i had to make those my first week, my fingers were black from the hot plastic). Lemme tell you, factory works are not very easy, then again, some are too easy (same ol thing at a slow pace so as not to overrun the machine... @_@).

But car buying was nice. New car, nice. EVEN for an older new car, is nice. I'm too tired, and apparently very worn out from work.

We have to make parts for the Chinese sister plant because their vacform broke, so we're working end to end and as fast as we can to keep up with outgoing shipments as well as internal shipments (they make doors in our company and the door line we ship to is called an internal customer because they're in the same building/plant.). And then, the trim die, that cuts the vinyl was not functioning properly and leaving loooong pieces for me to trim off before i placed it in the edge wrap (the part that sticks the vinyl to the inner parts of the part...)....


.... work sucks...
