(I am not a member, just to let you know.)
I posted here because I saw a link in someone's sig involving this guild. I wanted to provide clarity on the subject matter of this guild. As an educated (well, in the process of being educated) Catholic, I'd like to say that the Church says (and most Catholics belive) that the creation story was a myth. They say that evolution is a definite possibility. They say that the Noah story is a myth as well.
So, my point. We, as Catholics, generally don't belive in the creation story in the bible, so (in represtantion of the Church) ask kindly that you don't involve Catholism in this opinion based guild. Its not only rude, but its not based in fact.

Thank you for reading this over. The people in this guild know that not all Christians embrace Creationism- people of any religion are welcome here. However, many people (Catholics included) continue to preach Creationism as true, when it obviously isn't. That's what the guild disapproves of- we do not blame an entire religion for the misinformation of a few.

As puresilver has already mentionned we are not anti-catholic, or anti-religion. We are anti-creationsim. Many of our members are religious.
So I, in my capacity as the Guild Captain, wish to assure you that we do not mean to insult you, your religion, or your religious beliefs.
