Nodding my head a bit I sipped my milky hot coco then frowned, "Yes, crowds are bothersome even without small children. Mostly because I just don't like the feel of others brushing up against me for a few reasons." Then I sat up more interested in what she said, "Oh, you have children, that's so cute. They have so much energy and so cute." Wrinkling my nose while smiling thinking how cute Melody's children must be.
Sipping some more on my drink I listen to Cody talk. Smiling, "Oh, I find the taste lovely when it's not quite hot though not quite warm. Something in-between the two so I don't burn my tongue, at least not too much that is." When he said about the risk taking I nodded my head a bit. When he grabbed the ginger fox I wrinkled my nose as I caught sent of it. When he said how good it is I couldn't help but to shudder for some reason. Maybe it was because I pictured me as the ginger fox with it's tail being bitten off. So I started giggling that I would think such a thing. When Cody spoke again I stopped giggling to pay attention. Then I shuddered some more thinking about crowds.

Melody smiled as she watched Cody enjoy his drink and laughed lightly at his comment. "Who the crowds or the small children?" She grinned at the thought. She nodded listening to Lily comment upon it and smiled towards her. "I have three children, although none of them are very small anymore. My oldest is still trying to find herself. My middle child is all about logic and is taking a break from city life to visit the forest this weekend. My youngest has fallen madly in love with another noodle and may be engaged here soon." She crinkles her nose happily at the thought, her eyes following showing small laugh lines there. "My mate and I are debating having another litter because we do so love having the small ones around the cabin."

"Guess I live dangerously!" he teased, focusing on his cookie, watching the steam rise from his cup. If burning one's tongue could even be considered dangerous anyways. As to Melody's question, his ears perked forward. "I guess both! I don't know, sometimes I'm just so in the zone, I don't realize much around me." he laughed, nestling comfortably into the couch to listen to her talk about her children. He smiled at the descriptions, eyes shut, seemingly lost in a day dream. "It sounds wonderful to have a family." he mused, wondering if he'd have one some day and what they would possibly be like.

Dangerously, smiling I say, "Guess it could be, at least for ones tongue that is." Listening to Melody talk I smile and continue to sip on my drink and start to relax even more. Thinking about what it'd be like if I found someone special to go on walks with, play with, and even lay around and be lazy with. Then I hear what she says next, "You live in a cabin? I live in a cozy little cottage about forty feet away from a lake."
Looking over at Cody it looks like he's very relaxed so I decide to sit back a bit more to relax a bit more. Smiling at what he said I cooed, "A family does sound wonderful." Then I wondered if I would be any good with a family since I've been along for so long. Frowning I become very quiet while finishing my drink.

She nodded, "It is. Thinking of my mate and my children is what keeps me going everyday. I wouldn't trade that feeling in for anything." She looks over at Cody and smiles. "One day you will have your own, I'm sure of it."
She turns towards Lily to respond. "Yes we do. It was my mate's cabin. I originally lived in an apartment in the city with my old family before that, but when my mate and I hit it off I moved out. Ours is about 40 feet away from the water as well!" She smiled bemused at the thought that they both lived so close to lakes.

Beaming, the snowman like noodle turned towards Melody excitedly, perhaps a little bit too excitedly as a bit of his drink splashed out onto the couch, narrowly missing his tail. "Whoops... hah. But you think so? " he tilted his head, pausing to think a minute. Him as a dad. It was a weird feeling, but not all bad. He wondered if he'd make a good dad? A playful sweet one maybe!
Turning back towards Lily, he smiled. "A cottage! Oh and Cabin. Those sound lovely..." he said dreamily, as if lost in a daze. "I only have a small little apartment myself." he said with a nod. It was small, but hey it was home. After his twin had left, well he hadn't much room or means to keep up a bigger place so it worked for him for now.

Smiling I wonder if I'll ever have that feeling one day, then I smile at Cody, "Yeah, I'm sure of it too, your so sweet." Looking at Melody again, "Oh, a cabin sounds much better then an apartment in the city any day. That's amazing~! Don't you just love water~! In Spring and Summer I can't keep myself out of the lake even when it's raining or windy."
When Cody's drink splashed onto the couch I leap onto the back of the couch then fell onto my back. Then quickly leap back on my upside down blushing from freaking out. So when Cody looked at me I smiled pretending that never happened.... "Oh yes, I just love my cottage because it's just the right size for me, two or three friends, and a guest or two. If they stay over that is. The cabin sounds lovely and my cottage I would like to think is lovely, at least I hope it is." Then I got lost in a daydream about inviting Melody and her family over and Cody as well. For two or three days at the most, unless they want to stay a bit longer. Going back to my shy self I wasn't too sure I should bother them with it.... My ears go back and my blush fades away, I take my tail between my legs and start petting it with both paws...
