I'm not really very good at introducing myself, but since questions were provided hopefully I won't mess up too badly.
Who are you? Sure we can see your handle.. but are you a Jack, a Jim, a Mark, a Meg, a Susan? Go ahead and give your real (or close enough) name. Don't worry, we wont sell it on E-Bay.
My real name is Em, but I'll answer to just about anything including Hey You With the Green Avie as long as I know you're talking to me.
How old are you? We know your at least 18 (or you wouldnt be here), but some of our members are a 'little' older than the others.
I'm 35
Where do you live? Although many people live in the US, many people live outside the US too. No really. Ive met some of them.
At the moment I live in beautiful, rainy, Northwest Oregon kinda-sorta near Salem. We are contemplating a move to Vancouver Island in the future though, I figure it's time I did a little bit of wandering. (see answer below)
Where did you grow up, if you grew up? Was your childhood spent in a sunny valley or way up in the mountains?
Mom and I moved here when I was 4 and I've never really left.

I think I'm what they call a stay-at-home mom. I prefer the term domestic goddess even if it doesn't quite fit.

Married for almost 15 years. (to the same man)
Do you have kids? Want kids? Afraid of kids? Still a kid (at heart)?
We have one daughter age 11. Husband says he wants a chainsaw for each hand for her 15th birthday. I'm still a kid at heart though.
Some people treat their pets like kids. Are these your kids?
We have 3 ferrets, all boys. Yes, we treat them like they're our kids.
Some people have a life OUTSIDE of gaia. Seriously. Ive heard that some people DO things. What kind of things do you do with your free time?
???? People have a life outside of Gaia????? Whacho talkin' 'bout Willis??? Actually I read sci fi/fantasy, crochet, sew, try to knit, drive my kid nuts, you know ... all those things that moms are supposed to do.
Did we miss something? Is there just anything else you wanna tell us? Go ahead and say whatever else you would like us to know.
My daughter is also a Gaian, when there is an update we drive my husband crazy talking about it. The music I listen to is a mixed bag. I'll listen to almost anything but really don't care for the newer rap and R&B, most country, gospel, most opera, mariatchi, and anyone who sings through their nose. Having said that, I should tell you some of what I do like. I love the new wave from the early 80's, Run DMC and some of the other early rappers, 70's funk, some 50's and 60's pop, celtic, native american, some 70's arena rock, and the list is too long to continue with. At last count, I believe we own over 900 music recordings.

It amuses the heck out of us too. We drive him nuts with other things though too. He doesn't come right out and call it girl talk, but he's come close.
