As someone who's thinking of creating a genjutsu oriented character, I think I like the older system better.
Why?
Kinda feels like it breaks away from the RP honestly, I mean if I went with the genjutsu class instead of assassin which is what I'm thinking of doing, I my RPC would basically shut out anyone near his rank who is a physical character, as well as summoners, just because of the class bonus and he'll be a sharingan/kurama, which adds up to like 15 points with a three tomoe and not including the rank of the genjutsu. Even with the assassin class he still has a staggering 13 points with just the three tomoe, and I'm guessing most people fit somewhere between 1-10 points for defense o.o
