Shanderaa watched from a safe distance, not sure if she'd be needed to do anything or not, yet. It all depended on if this escalated quickly. She very strongly hoped that it wouldn't. Kromli seemed like he had this under control, but from here, it was hard to tell. She readied herself for the worst, just in case...

Yinzar grumbled, and stared at Finteus, but at length, slowly dragged his feet toward the guildhall. A very large rope bridge had been lowered to the ground from where the guildhall now hovered. Finteus weighed his options. He didn't know much about the guildhall but he was pretty sure that this guy was Matasoga's right-hand guy and Matasoga not only had all kinds of powers, but was his best friend, as well. If this guy was alright by Matasoga, then he had probably best do what he says. Besides, he'd probably be punished if he didn't. "We was jus' messin' aroun,'" he said in slow, and broken Common, before flipping the steel club in the air, so that he was holding the thick part, and Kromli was offered the handle. Kromli nodded, glad that his hat covered the relief sweat that was beading on his brow, and accepted the club with both hands. Even with both of his hands the club was incredibly heavy but he could not allow the minotaur to see him struggle. He carried it firmly and kept his gait even as he started toward the guildhall. Umadbro was deeply disappointed and started chanting "Fight, fight, fight," before letting it die off, when it was evident that there'd be no bloodshed. Kromli would have liked to add "A report will be made of your actions, today" in the troll's direction, but didn't have any more reserves of social strength left today.

Whatever sort of would-be conflict that was, it seemed to have fizzled out just as quickly as it had started. Huh. She wondered what that was all about. She followed along behind the rest of the group at a brisk pace, not wanting to be left behind but still wary of getting too close.

When they got to the line that had formed around the ladder of the airship, Kromli and Shanderaa were both allowed and expected to go to the front of the line. Kromli allowed Shanderaa to go first and climbed up after her, though somewhat clumsily, as he insisted upon looking directly down until Shanderaa was on deck. "It looks like there are three floors, rather than five. Matasoga gave me a look at the plans, so I think the second floor balconies are gone and the next floor up is the volunteer housing, followed by the Apostle's rooms. Obviously the labyrinth to protect the ship will no longer be needed. I think that he said all of the floors are ten feet high, instead of what they used to be, so I guess it'll be a more intimate space," he said. "Somebody has to wait for Taika's report, so I'll be here, but you can go explore if you want to," he added, looking up at the new guildhouse.

Shanderaa climbed the rope ladder up to the deck, slowly and carefully. She hoped it came off more as a calculated, cautious effort rather than the silly fear it really was, to anyone who may have been paying attention.
Upon reaching the deck, she noticed now for the first time how the guild hall had changed. It was definitely a lot smaller than it had been. This was okay, she thought, but would take some getting used to all the same. Smaller spaces tended to make her feel... claustrophobic.
"Hmm. Well, there will be plenty of time to explore, later. First priority is to make sure Matasoga gets in bed safely, as soon as possible. He'll need someone to take care of him for awhile... So! As soon as Yinzar gets up here with him, I guess that's where we're headed!" she said with a determined nod, the idea of her beloved master's recovery sparking some enthusiasm. "Oh... but, are you sure you'll be okay here by yourself?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine here," he said. "Besides, I've never been in his room. No one goes in there but himself and Sergius. Oh, and uh... Um... Y'know..." he said. He was unsure how to broach the topic, but word had it that she had frequented his room rather often and that the nature of these visits was conjugal was taken for granted. Kromli knew that he didn't have the social grace to broach the issue, but here he was. "But yeah, so I think I heard that Sergius was waiting outside of the room with a gurney and he'll take him to the bed. He was prepared for this. He seems to be prepared for most everything," he said, hoping to divert the topic into safer waters.

"Ah! Um. Y-yeah, uh..." She hoped that he'd be merciful and not continue that line of thought, and was extremely thankful when he didn't. Of course everyone most certainly already knew what happened behind closed doors with Matasoga and herself. But she wasn't about to discuss that kind of thing openly, even with friends.
All the same, the topic always flustered her, and she knew herself well enough to know that it was always noticeable. Already she could feel the blush forming. Dammit dammit dammit. What was taking them so long to get h--- Ah! Finally, she saw them arrive up the rope ladder. "Oh hey, look! T-there they are! Okay! Okay. Gotta go get master into bed! ...I MEAN UH. Oh damnation... y-you know what I mean..." she whimpered, now blushing furiously, before quickly shuffling off.

((The preceding all took place on January 30th. Unless otherwise noted, the same is true for the following.)) Kromli bid Shanderaa an awkward farewell and remained at his post until Taika came. When she did, she gave the half-goblin a sealed envelope, which contained her report on what she had found. In exchange, Kromli gave her the check that Matasoga had entrusted him with and she went on her way. Meanwhile, Shanderaa went to Matasoga's room where Yinzar (who miraculously didn't drop Matasoga at any point, even when he had rested him along his forearms while climbing the ladder) still held him. He turned him over to Sergius who was equipped with strength enhancing gauntlets for the task. With Shanderaa's help, he carried Matasoga to the bed and loaned the gauntlets to her and entrusted her to the task of arranging him more comfortably (as it was known that she had had more cause to observe how he slept than anyone else). The first night and throughout the next day he slept. February first saw him begin to stir and ultimately waken, though he was unable to rise from bed. Only after a full week's bedrest was he able to get up, and was much weakened. He put himself through light physical therapy with Kromli's help, trying his best to do drills with Shanderaa and Kromli, though he was neither skilled nor proficient with their weapons. Kromli would, during much of this time, switch to spear-drills, for his benefit. Ultimately, over this time, the ship was brought to ground, and a more permanent ramp established to it, so that it was as accessible as was usual. Some of Matasoga's most elite followers were often seen in the bowels of the ship, conducting tests and research. Matasoga was often seen brooding in his quiet time, alone but acts as though nothing is wrong when he has the company of any of his Disciples in his immediate presence. He has not shared the details of his report with anyone, with possible exceptions being those who he has set to the task of studying it.
