"Don't know." Rex responded to Light's question moments before her older brother and his dragon companion entered the room. Gods; ponies were coming out of the woodwork; at least this one wasn't small the like others. They mentioned something about a dragon. That was unexpected. The older pony ran off to apparently go fight off the beast with a rock. What a fool; although Rex felt a pang of quilt at the idea of letting him go off alone.
"You should hide somewhere." Rex suggested to Light as he cracked his knuckles. He then quickly made his way after Shadow; not really giving mind to the infant dragon in the room.
The Wyvern's scales would prove tough to cut with simple knives; but it had just as much difficulty fighting in such cramped corridors as well; all it could do it attempt to bite the annoying Griffon in its way. Ronoh's blade left small gashes in its scales but nothing too substantial. Cunningly the beast head butted the ceiling in an attempt to make it collapse on its foe.OOC:

CMC pegasus "hrmm?...oh look at that...monsters...thats......a wyvern or something....something in the dragon family....HEY...GO FOR ITS EYES THROAT AND UNDERBELLY"
he sat waiting for a moment where he would be useful. he would not allow the beast to take the young filly but at the same time he knew his untrained attempts to combat the beast would leave him simply in the way of the others. grasping the back of the creature's neck Ronoh leaned in and let out a deafening shriek directly into its ear before scrambling across its wing gripping tightly so that if the wyvern tried to shake him off it would tear its wing badly and Ronoh could just recover in the air and continue attacking. his goal was to try and get the beast to attack its own wing or simply to crawl to its under belly and plant his blades there where the scales were much thinner. if the monster wanted to stop him it would have to either bash its wing into the wall and damage it which he was prepared for or to try and bite him which he was hoping for. he could take a shot at the wyvern's eyes or throat or just let him bite his own wing. Ronoh was much smaller but at the same time faster and that shriek was bound to mess up the inner ear giving at least light balance problems.

Draco looked at light and smiled."its alright, shadow was just worried about you." Draco said. light looked at him. "but he is being over protective, ive learned more about magic on this little trip, then I have when he has helped me." light said sitting down. in her mind she had to help them, but knew it was dangerous to do so.  shadow, entering the room, could only watch as Ronoh was on its wing. dropping the rock he looked about and saw what looked like a peace of flint. "that's it!" he said grabbing it with a hoof, and flying over to one of the armor that was steel. gathering some wood he began to build a fire. after a few seconds the fire started, and that's when he smiled. turning to the dragon he sent a fireball at the things face, brining its attention to shadow. "Hey, how bout you pick in a pyromanic for a change." shadow said, sending another fireball into its face once more, hoping it would breath fire at him so that he could use that against it.

The beast staggered; between the ringing in its ears and balls of fire being thrown in its face it was starting to reconsider its options. This place was too small for it to fight effectively and these intruders were far more tenacious than it anticipated. The flames were not as concerning at the griffon latched onto its wing. It crouched; lowering its body and bringing its wings close in; reducing its effective size enough that it was able to bring it's sharp tipped poisonous tail around to lash out at Ronoh with.
Rex arrived on the scene to see it was already complete chaos, big dragon-like thingy; with a griffon attached to it screeching at it and the pony flinging fire at the beast's face; which honestly wasn't surprising; he saw some of the pony slaves in the diamond dog mines do strange supernatural things before; though they were usually the horned kind; not the winged kind.OOC:

CMC pegasus "well then....Dog...I didnt really catch your name....cant you help them out a tad? I mean I have seen how strong you are...you CAN help them..."
he stretched his wings calmly looking up waiting for his chance to do something but all in all he looked like some pony who would just sit and relax on a couch until he fell asleep."oh buck....the tail..."
digging his blades into the membrane of the wings he blasted off trying to slice as much of it as possible away before he slid to as stop and stood ready to continue the battle.
"come now little wyvern....unless you know your outmatched...."
his blades gleamed as he readied to continue the fight but if the beast decided to flee he would not follow it

occupation: none, currently in school ((out of Character: well didn't expect to see that book)) light couldn't take the waiting any longer, so she took off toward the the room the wyvern was. getting there just in time to see Ronoh slice the things wing, she glanced at its face, and saw a tear. this was to much for her, and caused her to yell out at the top of her lungs. "STOP RIGHT NOW!" the wyvern stoped to look at the little fillie, and so did Shadow. walking up to the wyvern, light gave a concerned look at it. "im sorry about them, they were scared by you." the wyvern looked at the filly surprised, then glanced at Ronoh and Shadow. then it spoke. "they invaded my home." it said to the little filly. "we didn't know that, and we are sorry, but can we all just stop fighting..." she said looking quite angry at shadow and Ronoh. Shadow Fire

shadow's ears went flat when light looked at him like that. "what, that dragon started it..." shadow said turning to Ronoh with a face like 'come on and back me up here'. he really didn't like it when light got this way, knowing what she could do, after those 2 Pegasus had made fun of him a year ago, light had taught them a lesson they would never forget. general shino uhh light is mad now, time to run for cover... Oo;

Well, this was certainly unexpected. Rex stood there dumbfounded at the situation before him; did a tiny little pony just stop a rampaging monster in its tracks; with words?
The Wyvern growled; looking at its own ruined wing before looking back at Ronoh and Shadow Fire. It began to back up in the corridor.
"Leave; now. Before I change my mind..." The Wyvern said. glaring daggers at the intruders.OOC:

"...maybe you will get your cutie mark in monster taming...."Staying firm he waited for the others to back away first. He was a soldier in Celestia's military it was his job to place himself in harms way in place of the civilian ponies. whispering softly he looked over to shadow
"...go ahead...I will kill it if it continues this...lets back off a bit...we will get this going Im sure...."

"uhm im over here..." she said stepping out from behind one of the armor stands as the one Modsiw was next to vanished from sight. "learned that from the ruins library." she chimed as she trotted over to Rex, standing between him and shadow. knowing that shadow was about to start arguing at him. "he didn't filly nap me, I asked him to come with me." light simply said standing there defending rex. Shadow Fire

"Hmph. So that's what that dirty look was for earlier." Rex commented looking at Shadow. He shrugged and turned away from the group to start heading down the hallway towards the exit. "Darn. So much for treasure; at least it wasn't boring."OOC:

he chuckled fluttering his wings as he began to trot out "come on now shadow...lets get back to ponyville...and though really its all you....but lives were endangered today and my blades were forced to draw blood. I will not tell you how to raise your sister but some times its best to lay truths out plain and simple for her to see."
wiping his blades he sheathed them and continued keeping his sharp eyes open

"please come and visit, your welcome to stay at my house if you need it." light said smiling as she let go. she then turned to Modsiw. "really, you think so?" light asked, the thought of joining the crusaders making her mind real. following right behind Shadow and Modsiw. -shadow and light exit (several hours after this is the meta plot)-

Again with the hugging; were all ponies this bad with personal space or was it just this one? Rex watched as the others left before turning back to glance at the castle. He could've sworn for a moment he saw a figure with glowing yellow eyes looking down at him from one of the windows; Rex wrote it off as the Wyvern from before just making sure they were leaving like they said they would. Rex had better things to worry about now; specifically, that damned hazardous rope bridge leading back to the forest. The diamond dog grit his teeth before stepping on that deathtrap waiting to happen...
