xxxxx Xanatos began guiding some of the hostages to the exit yet noticed that Nariomi was having some trouble dealing with the majority of the town's rogue population. Understandable. "Stay with the people okay, I'll be right back!" He looked to Eirlys when he said that, moving himself up and out of the windows, to the rooftop. He could see the battlefield and the bodies that lied like dots a map, with the X being Nariomi. In order for Nariomi to make that hole in the wall for Eirlys, Xanatos need to pick off the numbers and give him room to breathe. Xanatos took sharp assassination needles of poison and crouched down, he noticed that Nariomi was still fighting and he didn't want to get him in the crossfire by accident. "Nariomi, get down!" He said as a few more rogues approached, the Genin Mayu threw the needles and increased their speed using his mind. What would be normal needles of poison going at regular speeds because sharpshooter ammo for a camping Xanatos if you get my drift. The needles punctured the rogues in the temples, napes of the neck, and the jaw. The rogues were killed from the speed and the area of entry but no exit as human flesh was tough. He panted slightly and clutched his head as it was pulsating right now, keeping a mental connection with his team, the sharpshooting, the psychic strength from the attack to the rogue in the building, these things were taking a toll on the Mayu. But he carried on. He pulled out more needles in case he needed to provide more backup for his teammate.

Not only was he loosing ground against the leader but now his team was in trouble. When Xan screamed for him to drop nari dropped and spun not only clearing the line of fire but trying to land a low kick on the leader. Now that his teammate had announced himself it was only a matter of time before the s**t would hit the fan. On top of that Eirlys was calling for a whole so that she could extract the hostages. Within the confines of his mind he knew what he had to do, he had hoped not to have to resort to them but the lives of his team came first above all else, even his body. Calling out with his mind he hid the fear with resolve as he spoke clearly in his mind," Xan, Eirlys. Get them out. Above all else get them out." The rest would be cut off as he dropped into a form resembling the gentle fist. He took a deep breath as his face grew hard," Gate of Opening Kaimon, Kai. Gate of Healing, Kyūmon, Kai." Before the third gate opened his chakra filled the air around him with an emerald shimmer as a low roar escaped his lips, "Gate of Life, Seimon, KAI." His normally light brown skin began to turn red as his blood flow skyrocketed causing more than a normal amount of blood to seep from his wounds. "The fourth gate, Gate of Pain, Shōmon. KAI." Shattering the fourth gate small beads of sweat began to dribble from his body but instead of falling to the ground they were caught by his chakra and forced upward. He was almost there just a little bit more," THE FIFTH GATE, Gate of Limit, Tomon, KAI." As he shattered the last gate he could his body began to glow green. His breathing came quick as he launched his attack and ... was gone. He reappeared up under the leader delivering a fierce uppercut kick to his jaw sending him flying up. Nari just like in training, had lept up after him by pushing off with his arms. As the two sailed upward he continued to pound the leaders chest and stomach with kicks before he reappeared behind him. He raked his hand across the leaders back causing him to spin. Following it up with a quick backhand he switched positions back on top of the man as Nari tensed in pain as the muscles in his forearm and bicep began to tear. He had to push through the pain with a quick burst of chakra he angled the two towards the building that his teamates were in. Well they wanted a whole didnt they. Hopefully this wouldnt drop the whole building on them. Currently working at a level beyond a normal genin could hope to achieve he noted the locations of his team and the hostages and aimed for the corner of the house that would allow them to escape out the back and had the least chance of killing them. He slammed his fist and leg into the man with almost inhuman speed and strength, as the blow connected Nari roared," Reverse Lotus!!!" The rouge would more than likely be dead on impact as his body went screaming to the ground slamming into the corner of the building ripping it open. However not much more coudl be said for Nari. The increased bleeding and strain was pushing him to his utter limits and hopefully the display would route the remaining rouges.

Eirlys Kurama Mayu|| Djinni || Genin || ╔════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Eirlys did as she was told, staying with the group and inching them closer and closer to where she assumed Nariomi would be creating the hold. She knew that he would comply with her wishes because their minds were still linked, and she had sensed the change in thought pattern when he had come to his final decision. She also watched as Xanatos did what he had to in order to alleviate some of the burden that Nariomi was shouldering on his own. She saw it all through their minds as it happened, visualizing it as clearly as if she were seeing it herself, though the mind tended to show things happening a bit faster or later than they took place in reality, but she was seeing it anyway. Which was why the instant Xanatos started to feel his headache due to the successive use of his powers, she started to feel it as well. She had to quickly recede from his mind so as not to be affected by it for a prolonged period. She also noticed when Nariomi proceeded to do something dangerous and ultimately life-threatening; opening the Gates. Eirlys was about to advise against it, but the second he started opening the Gates she receded from his mind as well, not yet having the proper training that she would need to completely block out all the negative effects from assaulting her own senses. The strain on Nari's body was so great that his mind received the brunt of it, and Eirlys just could not remain. "Everyone stay right where you are," she said to the hostages, silently waiting as Nari did what he had to. When the wall came crashing inwards and the corpse of the rogue commander lay at her feet, she couldn't help but wince at the display of brutality. The man was a complete wreck from head to toe, and upon initial inspection she could tell that his skeletal system, in all its entirety, was shattered to a point of no repair. Narimoi was scary, and she was glad she wasn't the one that had been in this guy's shoes.
Noticing that a lot of the children within the group were afraid, and even some of the adults, she used her foot to nudge the body out of the way and to the side, then she motioned them forward and through the exit. She stayed behind reaching out with her mind towards Narimoi and Xanatos to reform the links. "Thank you Nari! The hostages are..." She paused mid speech, feeling the negative effects that the opening of the Gates, five of them no less, was having on Nari's body. Fortunately for them, the rogues had all scattered into every which direction, and she figured that through their evident disorientation from the sheer display of power, they would not be keeping quiet, leaving themselves open to being found and taken by the authorities of Soragakure. The hostages all rejoiced at their freedom and some started crowding the Genin who had saved their lives, but Eirlys pushed past them and ran towards Nari where he seemed to barely be standing on his feet. Placing a hand on his arm she gently held it there. "Nari? You can stop now. The criminals are all gone." Her voice was soft as she said this and tried to calm him down..

xxxxx Xanatos jumped off of the roof of the building and ran over to Nariomi, helping him up as he told everyone to clear way. The hostages looked worried but Xanatos smirked, "no worries everyone, he's fine or at least he will be when we get back home." He glanced to Nariomi, "looks like the mission's over Nariomi, and its a success. We can go home now." He then looked out to the people, "alright everyone, follow us and we'll take you all back to Soragakure for shelter!" and from that, the hostages cheered once more and crowded them again, congratulating Nariomi, Xanatos, and Eirlys. Some of them were even shocked that a group of genin would even be able to handle multiple rogues that were higher than their own rank. "Alright, Nariomi, Eirlys, lets get moving," Xanatos was taking Nariomi with him with one arm over his shoulder and carrying along his own weight with Nariomi's tacked on. The people would follow right behind them.

He slowed his chakra to the gates and resealed them one at a time. Everything hurt, not to the point where he couldnt walk, but still hurt, and he really really wanted to take a nap. When Eirlys held his arm and spoke in that voice he could help but blush a little as he relaxed completely. He trusted her and Xan completely, after what they just went through that much was clear. Now it was Xan's turn to come to his aid as he threw one of nari's arms around him and helped him stand. The hostages were all crowding the three of them, he knew they were grateful but damn a little bit of air couldnt hurt. When they started to move Nari laughed a bit," Well you wanted a hole didnt you." Even in his state he was trying and probably failing hard, to keep his thoughts off of how relieved he was that Eirlys had made it out safe and sound. After all he now had a promise to himself to keep.

Eirlys Kurama Mayu|| Djinni || Genin || ╔════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Eirlys was uncertain of what to do for the first time in all her life, but when Nari looked at her and laughed, however weak it might have been, she couldn't help but smile too, especially at his remark about the hole. She was equally relieved when Xanatos came and helped Nari to his feet and continued to help him in the direction of the village.

xxxxx Xanatos, still keeping a good hold on Nariomi as they walked back, smiled too. He was glad that everyone was alright and that there weren't any casualties amongst the allies and comrades. Now, he longed for home, to see Saiyuri-senpai' smiling face and get the recognition of the other Genin and higher ups that didn't decide to go on this mission with them. "Excellent work everyone, when we get home, let's all meet up to have some ramen after some good ol' R&R, eh?" He chuckles as he kept his mental connection with Eirlys and Nariomi. The mission was done and the people were being guided back to Soragakure via caravan.

The mission had been a total success and now it was time well not now obviously, time to fulfill his oath. When they got back to the village he would invite Eirlys to join him for a bite or maybe some training together. Though the sight of her smile made him smile even more. He focused on getting his battered body back to the city.
