So anyway, here's a sneak peak at contests so you can get an early start on them!
We tried to make them much easier so you don't have to spend much time on them, so I hope lots of you join. smile (Do it stare ) 4laugh

It's somewhere in the contest forums, I think xD Actually, it's in the holiday forum since you requested to move. =P If you want your thread to move back into the contest forum, just ask one of the crew. But if you want to leave it there, it's okay. People can ask you questions too if they need to know more about the contest.

I mean would that be breaking the rules? Haha.

If you were to use a color in your drawing, I would prefer it to remain one color. IE, most pencil drawings are going to be done with black lead, so they'd be black and white, so if you're going to use any other color, please only use that one color. I don't want to cause issue with one entry being possibly held up above the others because it used more colors than the prompt called for.
If Rath feels that we should stick to black and white only, though, I'll let him weigh in on that and clarify. Otherwise, as contest runner, that's my final say: one color besides white only.

I mean would that be breaking the rules? Haha. Confirming what mallow is saying; if it's monochromatic, then it's fine. That keeps in spirit with the challenge. Powerful scenes can be rendered with sketchiness and successful use of shading to set a tone. Using one color sets a mood that changed depending on the one color. Drawing with a red pencil would give off warmth in the scene, for instance. We're having more simplistic contests in order to hopefully allow for more people to enter one or more contests. Plus, a member has her own contests going on involving writing and art, as well, and we don't really want to take away from that.

"Snowed In" is a nice theme to work with ( oh, that's just asking for shipping fics), and as such, despite my burning urge to go all in with the mini-prompt that I [indian gave] got a 249-word micro drabble done already... razz [I might go all in and do another version of it though.] And yes fluff. razz Do I just PM Nino on it to submit, or what? I sent a trade with the 500 gold.

Aethership Canon Do I just PM Nino on it to submit, or what? I sent a trade with the 500 gold. Yes, you send the entry to the host/hostess of the contest through PM. Be sure you have a backup for your entry. Sometimes, the host/hostess may lose your entry and have to ask you to resend it. Sasuke no Katon I hadn't actually requested, just said that I had posted it up before it was in the holiday forum. Also, I cant access the thread now. D: *flails* Lemme just quote you what you wrote in your thread: Sasuke no Katon Bumping this so more people can see it to enter since I cant put this in the holiday forum and stuff cause I posted this before the holiday thread went up. ¦D See the bold words? Because of that, a crew member moved your thread to the holiday forum. Hence, your request to have it move to the Holiday forum. And of course, you can't access your thread. The Holiday forum is restricted to crew or above only. =P Don't worry, we will open the Holiday forum soon. But like I said earlier, if you want your thread to move back into the contest forum, just ask one of the crew to move it for you.

I wrote my fanfic entry last night, but it needs editing to make the word count!
250 will be hard to meet, but I know I can do it.
I'll be entering tektek, avatar, and spriting (this time I will freaking DO IT).
