Hey guys I have been working on a new Rp and was wondering who would be interested in joining. The main page is still under construction but officially open and the general story is as follows:
The year is 3020, decades ago the earth began running out of resources, but due to advances in technology humans were able to prolong their existence. However, science can only do so much and the earth has become almost completely depleted of nutrients and minable goods. In the year 2910 project perfodio began, and the gathering of resources from other planets commenced. As actual people make better scientists than regular robots technologically engineered astral mechanic specialists (TEAMS), known more commonly as cyborgs, were created to explore newly discovered worlds. Each cyborg is trained in basic survival, self defense combat, among other useful skills, but specializes in one area. Using their honed abilities and advanced mechanized parts the TEAMS have been able to help sustain earth’s population, hopefully one day technology will advance far enough that they can move its inhabitants to a new planet.
Units 93 through 111 have been sent out in a fleet of shuttles to a newly discovered world. It will take them approximately six years to get there, and a week before arrival the computer is supposed awaken them from cryogenic sleep. Unfortunately something goes terribly wrong; the ships all lose communication with Earth. The remote piloting system is left unmanned and the ships do not slow down, nor do they wake their passengers; instead they barrel straight into the planet’s atmosphere due to the lack of manual operation. Luckily, shuttle 39’s emergency landing programs are activated and the vessel is able to wake the TEAMS, landing without harming its passengers. Sadly, this renders the ship useless until repairs can be made, and as you can imagine, these repairs require parts that are not readily available. The inhabitants of shuttle 39 now need to scavenge parts from one of the many other ships (which could be anywhere), and build anything they can’t find. The planet, also known as Xyst contains no humanoid species, only strange alien animals, nearly all of them being carnivorous and very hostile. The lack of civilization on Xyst means that it is rich in foreign compounds, fauna and flora; the planet’s landscape is not unlike something you would find in a story book. Stuck in this strange foreign world the cyborgs must do or die. Unable to contact the space center and without any form of transportation will they be able to complete their mission?

Characters for this RP will all be Cyborgs, characters can specialize in mechanics, animals, plants, environmental sciences, resources gathering, defense, etc. Their robot parts will be unique to their specialization and contain individualized functions useful to your character and their profession.
