As soon as Tae took notice of Xaris firing she immediately ran and attempted to take cover. Xaris however merely smiled and ran continued onto her onslaught not wanting to give a moments rest. She quickly put the left gun back in its strap and readied her hand into a fist and punched the pillar breaking it hoping to catch Tae off guard and shoot her. However Xaris was not quick to the trigger due to haste being gone. As in the brief moments that happened next Xaris realized she was close to Tae, in arms reach in fact. As Tae swung her sword in her right arm horizontally smacking the gun out of hand, and brought down the second blade in her left hand vertically. Xaris normally would attempt to block it, or try to dodge, but seeing this as an opportunity she forced herself closer to Tae having the blade cut her right shoulder. This left Tae wide open allowing Xaris to bring in her left fist right into Tae's chest. As soon as the gauntlets hit Tae the mechanisms reacted and steam shot out creating a large force being slammed against Tae's chest. If she didn't have protect on her Tae likely would of had a lot of broken ribs.

As the pillar finished falling and all the rubble now laid waste to the ground Xaris was giving a satisfying grin, and spoke. "Gotcha hehehe." As Xaris was about to bring down another fist Tae immediately reacted by using her foot to kick Xaris off her. Xaris rolled back now feeling the cut in her right arm. It wasn't a bad cut but it definitely was hurting. Taking the small time of recovery to her advantage Xaris pulled out one potion from her equipment belt and drank it healing the wound on her arm but it made a scar. Looking back up at Tae she seemed to have gotten some more distance away from Xaris. She was giggling and laughing at Tae, even with the pain Xaris didn't care whether it was her blood or Tae's she was in a blood lust now. "How much more do you have in you? That punch couldn't of felt good even with protect on. Hehehehe. I'm beginning to grow tired of this hit and run game, now why don't you come here so I can rip that pretty little face of yours off and taste the blood that runs from your body." Xaris's face now grew with a more sinister smile at Tae. Xaris's eyes brightened even more red with an intent to kill. Without pausing Xaris charged at Tae.

As Xaris ran she removed the scythe from her back ready to attack, but Tae charged right back, and having the faster swing she took her chance clashing with Xaris first with her sword forcing Xaris to block, but not budging much Xaris kept her force up with Tae having a small stand still for a short amount of time. Xaris still keeping her smile spoke in an amusing tone. "You still charge at me even after that attack I gave to you? How long do you have till that body of yours gives out from the pain? I hope its hurting right now, I hope your suffering right now, cause I'm far from finishing what I plan on doing to you with my blade. Hehehehehe...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" As she laughed she pressed back even more so doing her best to keep pressure on Tae.

[[OOC: blah.]]

Tae felt when her swords scored their mark but what she wasn’t anticipating was the fist that came crashing into the center of her chest. A burning heat emitted from there burning with fury as it spread outward inside her chest. With a sucking breath she stumbled before her back met with the ground. The air was hard to breathe in as she stuttered for air. However, with Xaris on top of her like she was there wasn’t any time to recover if she couldn’t put some space between them so she used her foot and kicked the girl off. Rolling away she stood on shaky legs a hand clutching at the spot where Xaris fist came into contact with her.

As Xaris spoke Tae narrowed her eyes. The crazy b***h thought she could take her down that easily? Swallowing the searing pain she narrowed her eyes at the girl gritting her teeth. Oh, she’d come to her but she wouldn’t be lying down while doing it. With anger in her eyes and in her stance as she faced off with Xaris she took off after her slamming her sword against the blade of Xaris scythe. The vibrations as the two blades connected vibrated up her arm causing more pain to injury to her chest. Clenching her teeth she scowled at Xaris as she continued to talk.

When the mad woman began to laugh causing the jolts to move through Tae grunted from all of the weight against her. ”You talk too much.” Tae gritted out as she suddenly ducked releasing the one sword hoping that with Xaris pushing against her scythe that the momentum would set her stumbling forward and when she did Tae planned to use her other blade to impale Xaris. How about you eat this?

As Xaris continued to push and push against Tae, a grim satisfaction of killing her arose. It was then Tae quickly removed her weight against Xaris's scythe and ducked away that forced Xaris to stumble and fall forward. Tae then seemed ready to end the fight and kill Xaris by attempting to impale her through the chest. However even though Xaris wouldn't be able to dodge this attack she would be able to change the direction of her fall. She simply turned a bit to the side having the sword impale through her right shoulder. The pain was immense, and Xaris became silence, and limp for a couple of seconds, as to think that Tae might of actually done something. Xaris then began to laugh once more, and dropped her scythe. She grabbed Tae's left arm with her right hand, holding her in place as she then said. "Dispel!" The once light shield that protected Tae was gone, and now Xaris had free game to break Tae. Tae now tried to remove her arm from Xaris's grip but Xaris wouldn't budge, and now Xaris attempted to punch Tae again Tae reached out and grabbed Xaris's arm and prevented Xaris from striking. Xaris smile now drifted away. They were at a complete stand still and nothing was happening. She had to do something and only one thing came to mind. Xaris leaned back which caused the sword to slide out a bit and then she leaned hard in quickly head butting Tae allowing Tae to become off balanced and Xaris forced the sword out of her shoulder. As Tae stumbled back she held onto her forehead from the pain, which they both were feeling right now. Xaris though wanted to get back up close to Tae.

Xaris readied in for another up close punch to Tae's chest seeing as she now had a better chance of injuring Tae, though Tae was ready and immediately used her sword to deflect Xaris's attack. The smacking of the metal caused a stinging feeling to her left hand. Xaris now found this to be pointless as they both were evenly matched and neither one of them was winning as of this point. Seeing as she couldn't get close to Tae again and pull that quick thinking attack again she decided it was time to fall back and disappear. She immediately turned around and picked up her scythe running into the darkness and becoming out of view from Tae. As Xaris disappeared Tae pursued her but it would be of no use as Xaris was no longer insight and had used the darkness to escape Tae for a few small minutes. Using another potion Xaris healed her injured right arm again, but she knew that her arm wouldn't be able to handle another cut like that again. "I have had enough! Diablos Its time!" "Fine. But next time don't be so careless with yourself." "I know what I'm doing, just shut up and help me finish her."

As it would seem Tae was nowhere near close to Xaris, and now that Xaris had a good distance between them she began to summon Diablos. A flash of purple light emitted around Xaris and she raised her hand upward. Tae seeing and knowing what Xaris was doing wanted to distract Xaris from summoning. The only thing she could do was throw her sword at Xaris but being sore and it being larger than a dagger it ended up sliding on the ground next to xaris's feet, and at any point Xaris wouldn't of moved in the first place considering she had already taken two hits from Tae's sword by choice. Bats began to swarm the temple, and form up into a large ball in the center between Xaris and Tae. It grew larger and larger till a figure slowly drooped outside of it with the slimy black ooze dripping from his body as he did so. The ball soon dispersed and Diablos stood nearly hitting the ceiling of the place, but small enough that all he had to do was lean down a bit. He slowly turned and looked at Tae as if he was merely toying with her he motioned for her to run, as he began walking towards her. While Diablos pursued Tae Xaris made a run for the exit knowing that Diablos would destroy the temple along with Tae considering of his reckless behavior.

[[OOC: blah.]]

The pain the tore through her head was almost blinding. Her attempt at rubbing the pain away hadn’t worked. If she didn’t pay attention Xaris would try and hit her again with those gauntlets. Another hit with those would surely end her life and she didn’t plan on dying today. With her one protect spell gone she couldn’t afford to screw up either with a wrong move. Gripping the one sword remaining of the two she had in her hands with both hands she deflected the attack. However, even as she did beads of sweat began to form on her forehead. She needed to heal the wounds at first chance she got. Even with her pushing her body to move everything seemed to slow down.

In the darkness of the temple she was following after the footsteps that had a soft echo. Not that she could clearly see every detail but she didn’t rely on just her seeing to find her target. It was the purple light that lit up around Xaris that Tae knew she was in for it if she didn’t do something. Anything to distract Xaris from completing her summons. After tossing the sword with a last ditch effort to distract Xaris from summon she realized her mistake too late. You’ve got to be kidding me… she scowled at the large beast before her. Diablos if she remembered correctly. Ah, hell. She moved as Diablos slowly turned its head towards her. Her heart beating in her throat as her mind raced. Thoughts whirled in her head that spilled into memories. ”THAT’S CHEATING HAVING SOMEONE FIGHT YOUR OWN BATTLES FOR YOU! YOU’RE A GOOD FOR NOTHING, WEAK, CRAZY, CHEATING, PHYCOTIC, LITTLE GIRL!” Of course Xaris and Tae were about the same height but that didn’t matter right now. This place was coming down whether she was ready or not. She could hear other footsteps off to her right. When she glanced in that direction towards the exit she spotted the backside of Xaris as she made her way outside. ”Tch.” If she was going down she was going to take them both with her. Raising a hand as she ran towards a set of stairs that led upward, which was closer than the exit she shouted, ”STONE!”

With Diablos following behind her she hoped using one of the grenades would stop him but she doubted that very much. It was still worth a try. So while she used her spell she pulled the pin on the grenade and tossed it behind her at Diablos. He would have easily seen her so her only chance of living was escaping out the quickest way she could. All her hope lied in getting to those stairs. Her feet pushed faster. If only Chero could help her get there faster.

Xaris continued to run towards the entrance of the temple, but as she ran she noticed the gun that Tae had smacked out of her hand. Not wanting to leave it she ran towards it and grabbed it, but once she had done so she heard Tae shouting and then she casted a spell. "STONE!" The temple then began to shake and crumble. Was this girl insane?! She would burry herself along with Xaris in this temple. Not taking that chance to letting her succeed Xaris continued to dash towards the exit but as she did so large rubble above her began to fall and even though she was able to dodge most of it, she wouldn't be able to keep this up for long. It was then a sudden grenade blast caused some of the rubble above her to fall. "DEMI!" she shouted above her. The black matter of energy formed pulling any rubble away from her and allowing her to continue on her run. Diablos on the other hand was dealing with Tae, and as she ran she had thrown a grenade at him. He raised his own hand out and casted demi towards Tae holding her down so that she wouldn't escape, but as he did so the grenade blast hit him having the ground beneath him open. The temple began to collapse, and as it was near its brink Xaris was nearly towards the exit.

While she ran Diablos recovered from falling through the hole and now attempted to make way back up to where he had fallen through. Doing his best to avoid rubble, dodging, and destroying anything that attempted to hit him. "Xaris you'd better get going now This temple will come down quickly after I finish my next move." Xaris heard well and continued to run towards the exit. Diablos raised his hand upwards causing bats to swarm to the center of it forming and gathering into a large giant ball of black ooze, and as they did large pieces of the temple also gathered inside it being absorbed allowing it to grow larger with the bats. The ooze began to spin quickly and bolts of lightning came from Diablos's hand allowing him to finish his final attack. He aimed upward and threw his ball of ooze just above the opening he had fallen through. Once the ball struck its target large flashes of lightning bolts appeared and large symbols appeared and the ball grew larger and larger till the ball itself had a large symbol on it. The attack had finished and Diablos dispersed.

Once Diablos's spell had struck the ground it caused the temple to shake more and the floor began to collapse as well. It wasn't long till the entire place would be destroyed. Xaris ran and ran nearly there at the exit. She could feel the floor coming down from under her and she was afraid she wouldn't make it, but with luck as it would seem she had made a final leap and barely made it outside the collapsing temple. Breathing heavily while laying on the ground she was somewhat satisfied with how things had went. She would of preferred killing Tae with her own hands but surviving the temple from collapsing on herself was just as good. She stood up and turned towards the temple. The building was now completely buried and reduced to rubble. With that Xaris smiled and snickered as she presumed Tae was dead. "Now that she's dead, I have one more to go. Hahahahahaha."

[[OOC: I rolled to see if Tae would make it out of the rubble. One die 12 sided. Xaris called for her life to be saved on a low number and 3 times out of 3 I had gotten a 1, 5, and 5. So she lived through it. Just wanted to make sure everyone knew this so as not to think I was cheating and keeping Tae alive just because I wanted her to live. ]]

It seemed it wouldn’t have mattered if Chero was with her or not. Her body became very heavy forcing her legs to give out as she dropped to the ground in the middle of her running. That did not feel good at all. She almost wished she could have tacked it up to tripping. That might have felt better than her body being forced into the ground. Ground that was giving out in places as the temple had started to collapse even more than what it already had been. It wasn’t long when the weight was lifted and her head turned to see that Diablos was gone from sight. Her eyes wide her head whipped around red eyes flickered left and right. No sign of him anywhere. Was he gone gone? Or had he just disappeared from view?

Again the ground shook as if something angry was going to tear out from it any moment now. ”TIME TO GO!” she said aloud to herself as she stumbled to her feet and took off again though the ceiling started to rain down on her. A large chunk landed to her left then her right before it totally blocked her from the stairs. Though, perhaps that wouldn’t have mattered as she felt as light as a feather wind blowing at her feet and the ground rising over her head. She didn’t fall to far from where she had been standing. Maybe a few feet but the landing still knocked the wind from her lungs. Pain radiated from her chest as she took in air to her lungs. If she had to guess she either fractured or broke a rib. This was going to be painful getting out.

A loud sound came from over head as if lightening struck about the temple It was then that darkness covered her and for a moment she thought she died. The world around her was filled with darkness no matter which way she turned her head. The sounds evacuated from her eardrums. Everything was silent as the grave. How ironic that thought was. Who could say how long that feeling lasted. Then and only then did pain flood her senses as something had pinned her chest and stomach. So she wasn’t dead after all. Cracking an eye open she found herself in a rather dark area for a moment forgetting where she was. Shifting debris fell onto her face. It was a surprise she’d survived after all that. She wasn’t even sure she remembered everything correctly. It didn’t matter. With a grunt she shoved the debris off her enough so she could slip out. Her breathing was heavy as she glanced upwards. Now, to get herself out of there was Tae’s next step.

It wasn’t an easy task but she somehow managed to push and slip through the rubble of what was left of the temple. When she made it to the surface a hand striking out first before slowly the rest of her managed to be released. What rubble had been there slid away from her as she emerged from it coughing as she took in the fresh air to her lungs. Grit filled her eyes making her lids feel like sand paper against her eyes. The area seemed to be filled with dust though it was quickly subsiding, or she’d come out at the end where most of it had already settled.

Her hair free from the ribbon that had kept it up allowed her strains to blow freely in the wind as she lifted her face to the sky. She’d made it at last. Pushing herself to her feet she hobbled for a moment trying to get her legs to stay under her but they wouldn’t cooperate with all the rubble under her feet. It sent her down to her knees a hand catching upon a large piece of… something to keep her face from smashing into it. ”C-cure…” she coughed hard onto the ground beneath her.

She probably shouldn’t have wasted this time on herself when she should have been in search of Xaris. But that couldn’t be helped even in the condition she was in. However, once she spoke that simple word and as the smaller wounds healed themselves her head lifted as those red eyes searched the area. They skittered to a stop upon a figure that stood about half a football field lengths away from where she was still kneeling. ”So you made it out…” she choked quietly to herself. She would see to it that she wouldn’t be leaving here alive. It was just unfortunate that she couldn’t have left Xaris down in the debris from where she’d come.

Ever so slowly she reached her hands to her hips where she flicked off some snaps before she slid out two dark blades. As she swiped them in front of her resting them in a ready position at her sides a purple light like substance colored the air before it faded away. From the expression Tae wore on her face it would seem the fight wasn’t over yet.

She had taken a break from all of the mess that had just happened. She had realized something that she thought she had control over, but this battle proved her wrong. "I thought I had control over that anger, but it was just buried deep down inside. That woman had reawakened all that hate I presumed I had let go of. It was so easily awakened too." She sighed. "At least this fight is over. I still have one target I have to kill before my objective is complete." With that she stood back up again ready to leave but once she had stood up she began to notice a small noise. She couldn't tell what it was and began to look around. She couldn't really see much due to the dust cloud that had surrounded the temple, so she just presumed that it was the temple rubble moving around. She brushed herself off and was about ready to leave till she heard more noise again. It was making her suspicious as to what it was. Not taking any chances she reloaded both of her guns with now only having four bullets remain left in her ammunition. She aimed around the place looking around and then she saw a large flash of light in the distance.

"Is that......" Xaris had expected Tae to be dead but as of this point it didn't seem like she was ready to die just yet. "Stubborn girl why won't you just stay dead. I've grown tired of all of this. If a temple can't burry you alive then I guess I'll have to do it myself." As she held both of her handguns only to then put them back on their straps and remove her scythe from her back, she charged at Tae leaping from the pillars of the rock. If she was going to kill Tae she would want to enjoy it rather than a quick bullet to the head. Even if Xaris grew tired of the fight her sadistic self always needed satisfaction before she was finished with an enemy. Her scythe helped that satisfaction. As she made way she leaped up into the air and attempted to do a downward strike onto Tae though of course at the distance of how long it took Xaris to get there Tae was more than ready for her. She dodged out of the way and attempted to do an upward strike to Xaris since Xaris had the high ground. Xaris immediately jumped back avoiding the strike as much as she could, but as she dodged she noticed a light emit from the sword that Tae swung. "What kind of sword is that? I don't think I want it to cut me at all. " As to what to do really Xaris wanted to hit Tae but with at the current elevation she was at, having the high ground was something that she didn't want, but from the time she had been fighting Tae she had analyzed that Tae was more than capable of fighting up close, and dodging Xaris. The only thing now that Xaris could think of was do something that would give her the advantage. She leaped over the high ground and did an acrobatic flip over Tae in the air and aimed her hand right down at Tae speaking one word. "Blind" The black mist formed into her hands and shot out hitting Tae as Xaris landed on a large pile of rubble behind Tae. Now that Tae couldn't see Xaris expected now that she would have the advantage.

Xaris readied her scythe and watched as Tae became slightly surprised and readied herself as well as if she was waiting for Xaris to strike. Using this for her advantage she slowly grabbed small pieces of rubble before tossing them on the ground creating noise in several places around Tae. Xaris then leaped towards Tae preparing to slice Tae horizontally, She wondered if Tae was skilled enough to block the oncoming attack. This seemed that the fight would surely be over soon. No mistakes are to be made. Either way one of them would be dead for sure by the end of this.

[[OOC: Blah post. D; ]]

Even with the advantage Tae had she still missed hitting Xaris with her blade. With her eyes narrowed and her jaw taunt she watched and waited for Xaris next move. She wasn’t going to go out of her way to go after Xaris this time. No, she would lay in wait even if that meant that she had to keep to a more defensive stance. As she stood her ground watching Xaris ponder her next move she took in slow deep breaths to calm her racing heart. It wasn’t an easy task climbing out of the rubble and for the most part took a lot out of her. Even with cure it didn’t cure her exhaustion. It didn’t take long for Xaris to move again but this time she surprised Tae when she spoke robbing her of her sight as she flipped over Tae. Shock was clear on Tae’s face as she blinked several times; as if that would help her gain her sight again. Holding back a growl she closed her eyes and drew in a deep breath as she gathered her other senses. Normally she wouldn’t have trouble with being blind as she had trained with her grandfather but with her being exhausted as she was and wounded to add to it, it wasn’t going to be a walk in the park. Straining slightly as her head tilted slightly she heard a few rocks falling off to her left her head faintly turning in that direction before the sound of something scraping off to her right more. Her heart beating hard against her chest she moved just barely preventing herself from being beheaded as she raised her blades up. But without her added sight she didn’t place her weapons in the right spot. So instead of a firm block the attack sent her off her feet and into a broken pillar.

A sound came out of Tae’s lips before she gasped and coughed. Bloody spittle landed on her lower lip as she slouched against the rubble. That blow hurt more than she wanted to admit. Tightening her jaw she grunted to stand and to prepare for another attack from Xaris no doubt she’d be grinning from ear to ear and laughing. She could hear the rubble shifting from the weight being pressed then lifted off of as Xaris moved to where she landed. What attack she’d do next Tae didn’t know so she waited and hoped that her time was right. She lifted up her right hand and moved her left hand out to the side. As she lifted her hand upwards though it clashed against Xaris’s weapon the sound of metal against metal hard on her ears.

Her lip twitched upward as she opened her eyes still seeing nothing. ”So you reverted to blinding me cause it’s the only way to get an upper hand, huh?” Tae wasn’t going to let Xaris walk away from her so easily. She couldn’t use any of her spells without being able to see where her target was. Her legs shook violently as the pressure on her one right hand got heavier. She was done with this as she swiped her left blade in an attempt to either get Xaris to move away or injure her enough to put some space between them.

As Xaris attempted to strike Tae cutting her, she was surprised the woman could still block the attack barely, though the enjoyment of seeing Tae crash against rubble was amusing enough. Xaris didn't want to waist anytime finishing tae off so she charged again but this time Tae blocked more accurately having the blades collide. Tae made a small comment about Xaris trying to take advantage and getting the upper hand. With that she then proceeded to attempt to strike her with her sword, but seeing as Tae was more focused on striking rather than trying to get the scythe off of her Xaris took the chance and jumped over Tae using her as a foundation so she could avoid the attack and pole vault away from her. She then landed on a stack of rubble keeping her footing so she wouldn't slip. She spoke back with amusement. "Do you expect me to fight you without a few tricks up my sleeve? You and I both know that we can counter each other. I have analyzed that without taking advantages, this fight would of gone nowhere. You also had stone on you which you destroyed the temple with, but I could say Diablos had a hand in that. Needless to say I don't care about honor, or some rule of fighting. I take my advantages the way I see fit. surviving is all that matters, anything else that did was dead after the mansion incident. You and your precious kitten were both the cause of that along with your blonde friend. I've lost everything that was important to me. First my mother, then my father, and finally my instructor. This world truly does hate me, and if by some cruel joke constantly wishes to make my life a living hell. But what does it matter, you hate me just as much. You want me dead so you and your kitten can be together alive and well, while I have had nothing but constant misery, and pain!"

Xaris now angered again jumped towards Tae striking her swords as Tae blocked the oncoming attacks. Xaris kept swinging left in right as if purposely hitting Tae's swords as she kept blocking. "You say that im crazy.... But being raised without a family in this world, and constantly loosing those important to you, you find comfort in things you never thought that would ever comfort you. Killing monsters and people are things that comfort me. After all it is what I was forced to grow up in. Death is everywhere, and nothing seems to change. The people you love die, and there isn't a damn thing you can do to stop it. Even if I die those that you love will die either way. The only thing that keeps me alive is because of my goals, and until they are complete I will refuse to stand idle, or lay down and die. You, your friends, and anyone else will not keep me from completing them!" Xaris then swung as hard as she could forcing Tae back a bit, and then her attacks seized after she finished speaking. Xaris was huffing from her anger. She may have sounded like a child complaining about how unfair her life was, and basically saying why should anyone else deserve better, however through Xaris's life experience and the events that took place made her into what she was. Someone who cared less about the world around her, and the people that lived in it. There was only three people left in it she had some love for. Maris, Saida, and Momo, her team. Truly if they were to die then Xaris would seize from doing anymore work for Galbadia. She would leave and seek vengeance on those who killed her friends, family, and lover. Her hatred would overfill her body, and not even her own Guardian Force would be able to reason with her. Blood would be what she sought and destruction to anyone who got in her way.

After her short breather she readied herself for another assault, but not wanting Tae to recover anymore injuries than what she had sustained Xaris casted her final spell on Tae. "Reflect!" The light shield formed around Tae, and any attempt to heal herself would be deflected. Xaris then charged once more except this time she aimed to truly hit Tae directly. She swung her scythe as hard as she could horizontally striking Tae's swords and then used the momentum of the strike to turn and leap in letting go of one hand on the scythe and aiming to strike Tae with her gauntlet. Xaris hoped Tae would attempt to either block or reach contact to her chest.

Her foot slid slightly as Xaris used her as a pole-vault. A grunt escaped her from the weight that pressed down on her. Turning she raised her blades in a defensive motion as she listened to Xaris. ”Tch..” Tricks? More like cheap spells but when facing off an enemy there wasn’t any rules in the game they fought. She raised a brow though towards the end of her rant. Did Tae truly want her dead? No, not really. As long as Ellale was safe she didn’t harbor any true hatred. If she hated anyone it was herself for not being able to protect Ellale back then. There had been a few times where she failed to do so. Would this be her next and final time where she would fail at protecting the one she loved? Tae narrowed her eyes slightly.

She could feel the hatred that Xaris felt towards her as she attacked Tae once more slamming her scythe into her blades. Her eyes closed against the last attack nearly sending her toppling backwards. She managed to use some of the rubble to keep herself from falling backwards. Air puffed out of her lungs as she tried to breathe taking a moment to rest and to judge where Xaris was at. ”You’re an idiot for thinking that. Everyone comes to meet their end in time. If you weren’t prepared for that then you shouldn’t have walked down the path you did. No matter which path you chose there will always be death waiting. It’s how you chose to live in those moments that you should cherish. So when I say you’re crazy it’s because you’ve already chosen to embrace death, yet you hate it for stealing away those you love. What did you expect?” She spoke softly to Xaris.

Though, she shouldn’t have wasted her breath speaking. What she should have been doing was healing herself when she had the chance. Now, it was too late as she heard Xaris cast reflect on her. She probably had it coming as she tightened her hands on the blades anticipating where Xaris would strike. Blades connected sending out a sharp resounding sound sending Tae sliding a bit as she held her ground. She hadn’t anticipated Xaris releasing one of her hands to punch Tae and send her skidding into the rubble with a cry. Dust filtered up into the air choking Tae but also giving her some cover. Knowing she couldn’t lay there for very long she attempted to roll away from the area she landed in hopes to evade Xaris next blow that was sure to come.

Lucky for Xaris her fist had come into contact with Tae and sent her flying in the rubble. In attempt to finish Tae Xaris had leaped up in the air and slammed her scythe down into the rubble but missed due to Tae anticipating and jumping out of the way. Even when Tae was greatly injured she was still capable of moving around and avoiding Xaris enough to survive. Xaris ripped her scythe from the ground and huffed out a few breathes from the sudden change of pace from what she had earlier. "A life that I chose? No I did not choose to become this. I was forced into this life to protect myself from anyone who intended to harm me. At least that is what my mentor said after my father was murdered. You said it yourself, you would of personally killed me if I had succeeded in killing your kitten. So even if you expect your love ones to die it doesn't mean you want them too. You would of sought vengeance just like I'm doing now. Though you weren't directly responsible for killing my instructor, you still get in my way of my goals. You would kill anyone who got in your way so don't say you wouldn't do the same." Looking back on this fight she had realized something rather amusing. "We would of never had to of been in this situation if you never said anything from the beginning. Whatever set you off on me it was a grave mistake to just threaten me. I don't know what set you off in the beginning but I do know you won't stop me from killing her. Anyone who gets in my way will die."

Xaris now finished speaking decided it was time to finish this fight, she was satisfied enough to finish it off. Sheathing her scythe for the last time and removing the handguns from her belt. She aimed directly at Tae with both barrels pointing at her legs. She intended to make sure Tae wouldn't be dodging her attacks anymore, and the only way to seize that is by injuring the only thing that allowed her to move quickly. With blind intact and effecting Tae Xaris doubt Tae expected what came next to happen, and if she did, Xaris would have to commend Tae for being so anticipant of her surroundings. Her fingers slid down to the triggers of the guns and quickly pulled them firing off two bullets right at Tae. She wasn't too far away from Tae so she had enough accuracy to hit Tae but was Tae fast enough to dodge the bullets from hitting her legs? While all this happened Xaris began to process everything that had happened in this fight with this woman. She had remembered so much from her past, and her hidden anger had reached its height. Her determination to kill lead her to being cut and impaled by Tae's sword, and yet she didn't let up and continued to push on to this very point. With that in mind the satisfaction of finally finishing this fight was sinking in, and Xaris saw this as the final stretch of life and death. She either would end Tae now or she would slip up and die by Tae. Whatever happened within these last few minutes would decide the victor of this fight, and walk away alive.

[[OOC: Blah post. D; ]]

Tae bowed her head and started to laugh after she had scrambled to her feet swaying a bit on them. Something had obviously amused her greatly. She lifted her head up to the sky to spill forth more laughter. It was only the sounds of a click that slowly silenced her. So this was the end. Still blinded by the spell Xaris threw at her and no way of being able to heal with reflect casted on her she stood there for a moment before diving to the side nearly face planting it into rubble. Instead her shoulder hit it pushing her away slightly but she managed to scramble to the other side. Her heart raced in her chest. There wasn’t much time left for her as she realized she could never out do the weapon of a gun, especially while blind. All she could hope for was that the bullets would only graze her at this point and not truly hit her.

She heard bullets fly through the rubble and bouncing off the stone and whatever else laid around her. Shifting stones and them falling around it was hard to tell where Xaris was. No doubt she’d have followed her to rain bullets upon her. One smashed into the rubble just to her right before the next grazed her leg as she tried to scramble out of the path. Though, it couldn’t be help because she couldn’t see anything and the pain that came from her injuries was obscuring her senses now. CHERO! she silently cried out for her GF praying that she could summon it in time. Though, her summoning was disrupted by two bullets that struck her. One landed in her right shoulder while the other in her chest near the area of where her heart was.

The world around her slowed to milliseconds. She landed roughly on her back her eyes gazing unseen towards the sky. Her breathing was so shallow that from a distance it would appear that she wasn’t breathing at all. At this point she didn’t care if Xaris walked off or came to take the finishing blow. Chero… you’re never here when I need you the most… not that it would have mattered much seeing as it couldn’t heal Tae with Reflect still in place on her. ”You win…” she barely whispered if at all. Her eyes closed as she rested there waiting for her last breath to take place or Xaris to finish her off. Would the girl regret taking her life? Probably not. ”It… was the daggers you stole from her…” again she barely whispered to the air as if that would explain everything. ”All I want is… for her to stay safe. Even with… our life style I know that’s something… hard to ask for… after all… it was there that we were even able to meet. …I wouldn’t have changed it for the world. …You never… know… how much they truly mean… to you until… it’s too late…” She hadn’t gotten the chance to tell Ellale how much she really meant to her and now she would never get that chance. She wouldn’t be able to tell her parents how much she loved them even though they were over bearing at times. Or her brother, who hated her with a passion she couldn’t and wouldn’t ever understand, how much she wished they would have remained close to one another. Tears had filled her closed eyes leaking out to run down the side of her face. Her eyes opened for a moment searching the area.

”Don’t waste your life to… avenge your loved one. …Learn to cherish the people … in your life… now. You’ll never understand … how…” Her eyes slowly closed as she sighed.

Tae had managed to barely dodge the bullets that came at her. Xaris was indeed impressed with Tae's ability to dodge but Xaris wouldn't allow Tae any rest. She charged at Tae as she rolled away. Leaping over the rubble that Tae had hid behind Xaris unleashed a barrage of bullets at Tae firing one by one till she was nearly out of ammo. Two bullets had struck Tae, one in the shoulder and one in the chest. She had collapsed to the ground now, and it looked like she was done for. She laid there barely able to speak. When she had begun to tell Xaris what had started this whole mess in the first place she merely gave off a smirk. "So it was the one thing that didn't belong to me that she took notice of. She sure is observant, but now this is the end of our fight." Xaris thought to herself as she look down at Tae. Then it looked as if Tae was saying her final words to Xaris, and this merely amused Xaris. She didn't care on what Tae had to say nor the advice she was giving. Whether this woman had regrets, wishes, and loved ones did not matter to Xaris. Nothing would stop her from completing her revenge. As Tae seem to slowly drift off with whatever life was left in her Xaris merely smirked, and responded to Tae.

"I have those that I cherish most still. I'm well aware of how much they mean to me, and that is enough for me but even so this bitter anger and resentment I have to your lover is far too strong to just ignore, and I know that whatever soul I have left tells me that I will not rest till she is dead along with my father's murderer. Vengeance as it would seem is truly what I want in my life, and though it is that very thing that dangers your lover, you all brought it on yourself when you choose a life that requires you to take someone's life. I'm sure I have many people who want vengeance on me for killing their loved ones, and I welcome them to try and get it. That is what I live for now, and though it isn't ideal for many I am ok with this life I have chosen, and in the end no words that you say will change that. So I must say this is the end of the road for you." With that Xaris aimed her left gun directly at Tae's head and gave off one more thing to say before pulling the trigger. "I hope you and your kitten live happy together in the next life." With that she pulled the trigger and watched as the bullet flew right out of the gun and right directly into Tae's head.

Xaris now took a deep breath. She had fought a tough enemy and came out the victor, with that in mind she had an even stronger determination to finish her goals. Whatever Tae had said to her didn't matter and generally no matter what anyone said to her she wouldn't care. This was the way she wanted to live her life. Her choice to kill the ones that did her wrong may not end with her surviving, but no matter what she would make sure they were complete before she was ready to die. It was proven here that she was determined to finish them, and now that she had taken out the lover of her enemy she was sure that the fight between her and her enemy would be even more satisfying. With that in mind as she walked out of the destroyed temple she laughed. "Your next. Now that your lover is dead I hope you will feel the pain that I once had. I hope it breaks you, and when your at your most vulnerable I will be there to kill you myself. You won't live to see another day once I find you. No one will change my mind about that, especially not the words of your now dead lover........... Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha"
