I pretty much go by Faoln (or Chibi Faolan) all over the internet, but in real life I'm Katy. And now you know.
I'm 26, but I've noticed more and more over the last couple years how little age matters. My younger sister is 19 and the groups of friends that we've developed spans from a couple 17-year-olds up to my 44-year-old boyfriend -- though most of the group's in their mid twenties. ^^
I live in North Hollywood, California. Previously, I've lived in Marina Del Rey, Koreatown and Hollywood (neighborhoods in LA), Long Beach, San Clemente, and Riverside, CA. Originally from Axtell, Nebraska. No, don't worry, there's no reason you should have heard of it.

I earn a living doing temp work in offices in LA. My current assignment is a drag and a half, but the office is relocating to Monterey Park in May, so at least the end is in sight. It's actually my first assignment outside the entertainment industry, and I can't wait to get back in. I worked mostly at Fox in Century City when I lived down there, but I'm thinking to present myself over at Warner or Universal when this assignment finally winds down.
Dating. I've been with Curt over a year now. heart No kids, and no plans for any... I won't deny, though, that I hope that changes in a few years. Or sooner.
As for pets... I don't feel like I'm in a position to properly take care of an animal, keep it happy, all that. There's kitties at my mom's house, which I'll probably post pictures of at some point.
In real life, I love horses and wolves, I'm a voracious reader (I'll read just about anything, but I prefer fantasy novels), I know far too much about Iron Age and Medieval Britain, I adore rock music of the 60s and 70s but have to settle for hanging out in the indie and ska scenes of LA and the inland empire, I write the occasional Beatle fanfiction, play guitar very poorly, wander around taking photos to play with on Photoshop, and just generally spend my days being an all-around nerd.
Now, two of the thing that I mentioned -- hanging around the indie and ska scenes of LA and the IE, and living in LA and Riverside -- might ring some sort of warning bells for a few of you. I guess it's worth mentioning that yes, aside from booze and cigarettes, I'm very well experienced on the subjects of weed, blow, and tweak. For the mercifully innocent here, that means I've had in-depth encounters with marijuana, cocaine, and methamphetamine. And in an obligatory bow to the TOS, I'll say that I do not endorse the use of any of them. mrgreen
