Malus wandered around the store grabbing a few easy to make meals. A few cans of soup, box of mac n cheese and some ramen. The preteen had figured that she should learn how to cook eventually; after all she couldn’t live of food court food forever. How badly could she mess this stuff up anyways? The directions were on the pages. She paused for a moment to read them and grab anything else she’d need before heading out to the self-check out where she scanned and paid for everyone she had grab. She was just about to leave when an employee wandered over to her

“Excuse me miss, but you need to pay for that as well” she said pointed to the apple the preteen held “Hmmm?” Malus blinked trying to figure out what she meant “Oh My apple?, I brought it with me.” She explained cheerful. The older women sighed “Of course you did, it’s not that expensive so why don’t you pay for it or just put it back.” Malus twitched, how could this women think that SHE was a THIEF! A vile, cruel, underhanded, no good, villain! She was the exact opposite of that! She was the person who caught thieves and it was HER apple. “It IS mine, I don’t steal!” She huffed as the other lady rolled her eyes. “And why would anyone bright food into a store, especially ones that sell food.” “Because it’s a magic apple, you don’t eat magic apples, and you should never leave magic items unattended!” She retorted. She was staring to get frustrated with the lady, but she didn't want to transform, it was a misuse of her powers right?

The lady scoweled as the dragon-boy interupted, and shooting a glare at both of them she stalked off in a huff.

Malus turned to him and grind "Thanks, for the help." She balanced her apple in the crook of the arm that was holding the back as she held her other arm out to him. "I'm Malus, it's nice to meet you!"

"Thats a long name, its neat though. Nice to met you Bhasakar, I'm Malus." Malus shook her head as he asked about talking to a manager. "I'm fine, just a bit annoyed you know? I'm not a thief, I'm a hero! Or at lest I will be someday, once I can figure out how to work my powers all the way." She hadn't meant to babble like that but that was a thing she tended to do, babble.

"Sure!" She chirped at his offer to walk her home. She made sure she had the bag in a way she could hold onto it and her apple without dropping either one. She then walked out of the store, she didn't want to stick around and have someone else start bothering them about the apple. Once they were outside she started talking again. "You're wings and tail look really cool!" She said, it must be cool to have a tail, then you could knock the bad guys feet out from under them while they were distracted with your arms and legs!

Malus smiled, she had all ways though of her hair as an apple red. Rubies where so pretty though, she wouldn't mind have ruby red hair at all. "Thank you!" Gemstones where pretty, but they where much rarer than apples. "Do you like gems?" She asked curiously, the tone of his voice seemed to hint at the idea.

"Oh wow, that's so cool! Is your collection big?" Gems where pretty expensive or at least all the ones she had seen where, it must take a lot of work to collect something like that. Malus was a bit curious as to what else he collected but was pleased when he stated that he did not collect things that other people owned. "Thats good!" she chirped, glad that her new friend was not amour the people who where labeled as thieves.

The red head was to preoccupied with her own thoughts to have heard the 'usually' that followed the statement.

"Hmm what do I like to collect?" She mused aloud thinking it over for a moment. "Oh! I collect things that are apple themed!" She had all ready replaced the cabinet door knobs with apple shaped ones and was on the look out for any other neat apple themed knickknacks or decor.
