I didn't quite enjoy The Grim Grotto too much. The Penultimate Peril was a million times better; I think it's due to the fact that the Hotel was strange. I really like the books in the series that seem to not make sense, such as the Hotel being organized like a library, and a man with a spatuela (sp?) flipping guests over like hamburgers on the roof.
