I hear that bank jobs pay really well too. biggrin My pay is average, but how many people get to stay up until midnight making bread pudding for their the English Language club at a Japanese high school? Actually, that's what I'm doing right now. I could take the easy road and just take the box of cookies that I bought a couple days ago. But no, that wouldn't be as much fun. blaugh

I ended up as a QA Enginer (Quality Assurance) at a semiconductor manufacturing company. I ended up doing two peoples' jobs: Failure analysis and calibrations.

I just came back after a very very very long hiatus.
I ended up teaching at a high school in Japan for five years. I'm still in Japan, but I'm only working part-time now. I'm married to a local man, and we're expected a daughter in March. It's really exciting. It's good to hear that things seem to be working out for everyone. smile
Wanna know something crazy? Even though I live in Japan, and even though I am completely fluent in Japanese, and can watch any anime I want without bothering with subtitles, I haven't watched any animes in a pretty long time. I sometimes watch Detective Conan or Doraemon if I see it on TV, but I never really seek out new series anymore. It kind of seems like a waste.
