hello all, it's been a long time. i've been watching WWE in all the time since i last posted and i gotta say i'm not liking the product.
my first issue is the Wyatt Family. three big, scary looking guys who are quiet formidable and they debut as bad guys? wow that's so original...no wait they're just like the Shield-three guys "above the law" who appear to be unstoppable. The Wyatt family could have been packaged as the answer to the Shield, the three Wyatts could have been a match and made things interesting against the Shield. but what does WWE do? they take these rednecks and have them lay waste to a bunch of mid-carders no one cares about to make them look "tough" and "creepy". (hoping that maybe Kane and Taker will show up at Survivor Series to take them down).
my second issue is "Best For Business". i swear i could get so hammered if i took a shot every time they said that every week on both shows. the way Orton won the title was fine with me, but to screw Bryan when he fairly won it was so pathetic. this whole storyline seems to have been done once every ten years, maybe even five years. the management takes over things and the locker room "revolts" and leads to a shift in power all while waiting for his "greatness" Cena to come back from injury. i don't think i've said this before but let it be kept on record that i actually miss Cena. personal opinions aside, Cena IS the "face of the company" (another phrase i could get smashed on) and he is a strong presence and leader in the locker room. with him gone, it's just so weak and boring. Bryan is great in the ring, but he doesn't have the leadership qualities that Cena has. Bryan could be the face of the company and make them lots of money much like Cena, Orton, and Punk have done in the past few years.
issue three, speaking of Punk-why is his storyline getting pushed on the back burner and treated like a mid-card feud? is it cause the IC Champ is involved? the Punk/Heyman story is pretty good and got some deep seeded tension. i think it's the best story going right now, but they rather focus on yet another Underdog VS the Boss story. when it's time for Raw, a lot of time i'm in no hurry to watch it. almost wanna give it up for a while till (and i can't believe i'm saying this) Cena gets back.
and all this is going on during Monday Night Football and the start of the MLB playoff. *heavy sigh* feels good to vent to you guys ^^

Yeah...blame the writers. They report to HHH and furthermore, if they had Vince in the Authority storyline, it would be much better.
