Character Name: Mathias White/Lt. LeuciteAge: 21 Why does your character want to attend? For the hell of it, because it could be fun. He needs something to do for Halloween that's not attending a lame frat party. Hoping to rope his girlfriend into it too because why the hell not. Your Merit: Strong Why? I work out every day. I train to do MMA and I fight all the time in my powered form. Your Flaw: Loud Why? I wouldn't know how the hell even to shut up even if I wanted to. Be prepared to hear every bad joke ever - at full volume. What is your character's goal for the evening? I.WANT.TO.PARTY! I could use a break from the crazy that is my life and I just want to cut loose and have a blast. If I do something cool - cool. If I spend all night running around in circles - whatever. Your Merit: Clever Why? I have to lie to my step-mom on a daily basis about where I am at night anymore - THANKS SUPERPOWERS AND HAVING TO SAVE THE DAMN WORLD! I am surprised she hasn't tried to lock me in my room as many times as I've blown curfew. Your Flaw: Conspicuous Why? Neon Green highlights look cool and all - but good luck not being the first person to lose hide and go seek in a crowd. What is your character's goal for the evening? GTFO the house and have fun not being gripped at by my step-mom or having to drag my younger sister around while she tries to make me miserable. It's a party - how are you dressed? Okay so I am cheating a little bit and using my LARP costume as a base OKAY... Ffffff... It took me long enough to make jeeeze.

Character Name: Fleur Willis/ Sailor CybeleAge: 18 Why does your character want to attend? Everyone's talking about it, and hopefully a lot of important people will be there. Also, I love costumes, parties, and prizes! Your Merit: Clever Why? She's pretty smart, and pretty good at using her wits to get herself out of sticky situations. Your Flaw:Reckless Why? While she's not going to be going out of her way to to stupid things, she doesn't always fully consider consequences, almost never backs down from things, and might forget she's not a superhero at the moment. What is your character's goal for the evening? Hopefully, I'll make some connections, and have fun while doing it. It's a party - how are you dressed? {X}

Character Name: Griffin Westwood Age: 20 Why does your character want to attend? Griffin loves parties (seriously, look at her journal, it's one of her hobbies) and getting the chance to go to the hottest Halloween party of the year would be to die for. Your Merit: Cautious Why? She's patient and reliable, checking everything a dozen times before going through with anything, sort of a measure twice, cut once type of personality! Your Flaw: Weak Why? Griffin can hold her own as a senshi, but as a civilian, she doesn't pack much of a wallop. What is your character's goal for the evening? Griffin is a big ol' party girl, she loves going out and socializing, getting to know people, so she really hopes to make a lot of new friends (especially ones who get to go to awesome parties like this all the time) maybe meet a nice, handsome young gentleman, a cool after party? It's a party - how are you dressed? She's going as Arya Stark from Game of ThronesCharacter Name: Fletcher Wade Age: 25 Why does your character want to attend? (IC answers, please) Your Merit: Clever Why? It's one of his virtues! Fletcher is very quick-witted and always has something to say in a situation. He tries to lighten serious situations, but though he tries to make people laugh or smile, often his jokes are mistimed. He also uses his wit to make points, especially when things are unfair in his opinion. His jokes aren't saturated with sarcasm or passive aggressive, and he tries to make sure things don't go over the average person's head, because where's the fun in that?
He's also very good at figuring out puzzles, riddles, or situations that don't involve him or other people. When it comes down to interpersonal conflict, he isn't the best at understanding why conflict arose in the first place.
He tends to fiddle and finagle, and sometimes that's how he learns how to play instruments, or at least make them make interesting noisesYour Flaw: Reckless Why? Two of his flaws are apathetic & loose-morals, he plays by his own rules without caring about the consequences for others. Fits well with being reckless! What is your character's goal for the evening? A little bit of networking, a little bit of schmoozing, a little flirting... Fletcher is an aspiring musician, maybe if he rubs elbows with the right character, he could find a wealthy sponsor to make all his dreams come true. Or, you know, at least a cute girl to spend the night with... It's a party - how are you dressed? His favorite musician James Murphy. Oh, you don't get it? You wouldn't. Rube.

Character Name: Carli Geisel/Dendera of VenusAge: 19 Why does your character want to attend? Parties and people and a fun time being spooked! Your Merit: Clever Why? While she may be a bit naieve sometimes about people, she's reasonably good at figuring out puzzles, and putting things together in unique ways to get the result she wants. Your Flaw: Reckless Why? Charli loves life, and everyone in it, and she know's it's -totally- a party. QUICK! Someone take her cell phone and take her picture with the guy in the hockey mask! Sweet! What is your character's goal for the evening? To dress up, have some fun and meet lots of people! Hi people! It's a party - how are you dressed? Charli has forsaken her usual 'boho' wear for a mock costume, a fake leather jacket, a white t-shirt (which may be just a touch snug), faded jeans, broken in boots and a candy cigarette. She couldn't quite manage the Hairdo with her dreads, but she figures she rocks the outfit anyway. The rest of the candy cigarettes are in the pocket of her jacket, and her piercings have all been done up with CZ studs.

Hey Guys!
There's been some questions and a bit of confusion so I thought I'd just address some of the FAQ's.
Yes you are encouraged to post and interact without being attacked. This ORP is still about trying to stay alive after your host has been presumably killed. What are you guys going to do? Try to escape? Fight back? Try to find Hayden? Do what you guys like!
No, you do not have to roll unless you are attacked by one of our wandering monsters. When they attack they will quote you so you'll know when to roll.
After being attacked you may, in your next post, RNG to go to a new zone. The idea is that you ran away from the monster attacking you, went to find help, etc etc. This is OPTIONAL. You do not have to switch zones if you are attacked.
Unless you are quoted by a monster you have not been attacked. Monsters can interact with their victims for an extended amount of time (chasing, menacing, etc) but unless you are quoted it is not an official attack. Consider it extra flavor to the rp and a good story for your character to tell later on in life.
No, people will not actually be killed. There has been a little concern about this but no. This is just a game, though it is a very convincing game right now.
The game lasts until there is a sole survivor. If we do not get a sole survivor after 2 weeks (Fri, Oct 25th) I will initiate a sudden death challenge to the remaining participants.
So far as I know the monsters will decide at random whom to attack.
