Matthias finally got his composure back, and ended up crawling for the cover, hooking a leg and lying his back on Griffin's chest.

Griffin was again lost in the lights high above his head when Matthias came back to life. His leg was hooked and he felt the weight of his opponent resting on his chest. One... Two seconds away from loss and still no motion from Griffin. Two... One more second and it would be all over. Thr... Griffin's shoulder shot off the mat as the ref's hand was milliseconds away from taking away "his" title.

Matthias sat up quickly, running his hands through his sweaty hair in utter frustration, cursing himself for not going for the cover right away instead of nursing his arm. It didn't matter now, now he had to finish him off while he had the chance. He rose to his feet, stalking Griffin, waiting for him to rise...

Griffin's body was hurting, but he had to get to his feet. He needed to get back into this match by any means and take control. He started to rise, but little did he known Matthias had something waiting for him.

Matthias would try and kick Griffin in the midsection, then reach and place his head between his legs so he could try and lift him and plant him with his version of the Styles Clash. If it worked, he'd try and transfer in to a submission his dad made famous by hooking his feet around the neck in a modified Full Nelson, before reaching forward and grabbing the legs and pulling back in a modified Boston Crab, completing the Scorpion Deathtrap.

Griffin was kicked in the stomach and doubled over by Matthias as his head was placed between the kid's legs. Griffin needed to get out of this week so he attempted to the last thing he could do. Jacob placed his hands on Matthias legs and went to stand up and slam him on to his back with a back body drop.

Matthias' set up wasn't as quick as it could have been, and he paid the price with a head over heels tumble flying across the ring to hid back.

Griffin dropped to his knees after heaving Matthias with the counter. He was still feeling the effects of Matthias' cartwheel elbow drop, but he needed to get going. Griffin pushed through as he pulled himself to his feet, making his way over towards where Matthias was laying. Griffin stood over him for a moment and then went to drop a knee across the man's ribs.
