To be frank, the flight thing wouldn't work unless the chains had the tubular shape which would occur to go through the other chains, which would make it rigid. The air would just circulate through the chains and back, eventually breaking the chains explosively. =D
Besides, with enhanced strength and speed, he can just run, swim and jump long distances anyway. xP
I noticed the post with the ... so this is a compromise within a compromise. Remove the flight and I'll allow it, or make it more logical and, if Thanatos becomes more inclined to be like the... pet/slave/bodyguard of the boy, I'll allow it.
