Wiping off her glasses, Melody entered the Die-ner with an annoyed snear,
"Oh ghoul, this weather always makes my glasses dirty," she complained.

After putting her glasses back on, she noticed familiar faces sitting away in a far booth before Draculaura scooted to her side quietly,
"Oh hello Melody! Welcome to the Die-ner! Where would you like to sit?"

Melody smiled politely, "Thank you but I think I'm going to sit next to Kai and Demona if that's alright."

"Of course! Right this way!" Draculaura grinned as she guided Melody to their table, "Let me know if you need anything else!"

Melody nodded with a smile as Draculaura turned away before looking back at her friends, "Hello everyone!"

"It's very nice to meet you," Melody smiled shaking Marianna's hand before turning back at Demona, "making a robot," she corrected, "not chatting with one."

She sighed in exasperation while putting her hand on her head, "I'm sorry I haven't been too social, sometimes I drift off in my own current without telling others on the coast. I need to stop locking myself up so often for these projects."

She glanced at a menu and read over what seemed the most appealing, "Calling however would be a bit more convenient."

Marianna was starting to get jealous of Melody and her friendship between Demona. Like what did she mean 'Beast Friend'. Mari's face turned pink, thinking that she'd lost one of the few friends she made in an instant. This can not happen. She'd been labled a bully, and now she was loosing friends. This was going to be like her old school!! gonk She would not swim for this!

"Wait a fin!" Marianna put her hand up, looking at Melody. "Yeah, nice meeting you too. But you just swam outa nowhere! I've been here a month and now your just Demona's beast friend... But where have you been, if your like the clam's pearl?"

Marianna was being rude, but the ugly green monster was rearing it's head, and very prone to jealousy was something leviathan's were known for. A boo-friend was one thing... but a BEAST friend she'd never met... it's not like they could share.

Melody nodded, "Demona is right, there's no reason to have a 'competition' over friendship."

Melody gestured Draculaura's attention, "Excuse me Draculaura, can I please have a salted scareamel milkquake?"

Draculura smiled her wide fanged grin in response, "Of course! I'll put that in right now!"

"Thank you!" She smiled before turning back to the table, "But if you'd like to know, I've been busy helping Dr. Mehra with new projects with a bit of help from Glen, it may not seem like much, but he is a big help around such a busy lab."

"Here you go!" Draculaura smiled handing her the milkquake.

"Thank you," she smiled letting Draculaura slide it in front of her before helping the next customer.

"And clams don't produce pearls," she corrected taking a sip, "oysters do."

Demona looked at Kai, things were getting intense fast.
"So, Anna....About the Maul you say you haven't been yet, that like has to change, have you been back to ghoul shopping yet?"
she smiled hoping that the change of subject could ease the tension a bit... hopefully a lot actually
"perhaps we could go after we are done eating? oh and off the subject you should meet my mom, well she's getting treatments done but maybe when we get her back and out of the straight jacket." Demona said this all so normally.
"if you do want to visit, no jewery. my dad likes to pickpocket

Melody stopped sipping her drink with eyebrows raised,

"Actually, that doesn't sound like a bad idea at all, Kai! I believe they added some new games since our last visit and with this irritable weather, i'm sure there's plenty of heat inside to toast up our gills."

She turned to Marianna with a smile, "You will accompany us won't you?"
