Ah, that was better, now. Though meddling with spirits like that without the means to control them that his father had... Perhaps she should keep an eye on this, for safety reasons.
"I see... And, yes, a funeral can be held even if there is not a body. Having something tangible is somewhat a comfort for those who mourn, but more important is the closure such a thing brings."

Isidore nodded and wondered if he had completely given the game away. Caelia would not be happy at all if she found out. But really, he couldn't lie to his Aunt, she was like thier mother and was far too clever for it to work. "Do you think it will help?" He asked her, he probably should have asked Kios really, but he knew he was busy like his dad planning to go away again to the place with the funny name.

"I think it would help, yes." She knew it settled spirits to know they had been mourned and honored properly. It was also a balm upon the living, too. "So you are planning to hold a funeral for them, then ? Usually you would know know names and cause of death for that... But given that you are god, maybe they will understand that you mean it for them."
She would settle a lock of teal hair behind one of his ears tenderly. He really did look a lot like Lacrymosa... He looked more the part of her brother than her two had, really. Her heart sank a bit, knowing now that they likely would never meet, but at least they had Akakios.

Isidore smiled up at her as she tucked the lock of hair behind his ear. He would have to come and see her more often, he decided. She was a very nice lady and clever too, he would bet that she knew the answers to lots of things. "I think they would know that I was doing it for them." Or at least he hoped so, though there were many different traditions and he would have to make sure that they could cover as many as possible all in one service. It was rather mind blowing if you really sat down and thought about it. Sometimes he wondered how his head didn't explode. Though he was a god so maybe that was why. "Thank you Auntie Echo. You should come to ours for some tea. I know mama would be really happy to see you. She needs some relaxing time."

"I am sure they will know." Deep down, they always seemed to know. Be they dead, alive, mortals or immortals. It was the gesture that was important.
"I likely should... Maybe you could bring me back and we can surprise her, then ?" He could explain his absence as having gone to look for her.

"Oh! yes, you should. Mama will be really happy to see you." The young god was quite certain of this. She didn't like surprises very much, but he was sure she would be very happy if Echo surprised her and made her take a break. "Do you want to go now?" He asked eagerly.

"Certainly. I would need to put this back first, but it will only take a minute." She would roll the map back up and rise, brushing stray blades of grass off her skirt. As for the map, she could simply leave it in the library on the way out.
