Aw, that sucks. Well, maybe the other thing to do is just to lock yourself in a room with only a desk, pencil, and the asisgnment you're working on, XD

You should see my documents folder -.- I have like 3 images that I want to use so badly (was 4 before this character, XD) but have 0 ideas for. That, and I have some super awesome pictures with really cool characters. But all of those just make me angry looking at them because nobody will ever reply in those role-plays.
Aaaand now I have to go bother people to reply.
Fun Fact: I just now realized that I'm in two circus role-plays. O.O
Fun Fact #2: I have 5 characters that are exclusively for circus role-plays, and 7 characters in role-plays total.

That's basically what I do. It's worked so far... So... yeah.

Oh, I've got TONS of pictures for characters. I'm kind of a picture hoarder when it comes to character images, so it's crazy how many I have.
Really, that's cool. And, yeah I think I've got like more than ten over all. It's pretty crazy, man. A lot of my characters are getting inactive though... so it makes me really sad.

Lol, I might need to be doing that soon, because I have a project to work on -.- Compare Italy's customs to American customs or something...

I have like 6 pages in my testing thread full of character layouts... But I only use the last 3 pages or so, lol.

Oh, have fun with that... It sounds kind of interesting though.

Yeah, I think I've got five pages now. I use some on pages 3-5 and occasionally one on page 2 if I feel like bringing one of them back but other than that... I'm pretty much the same. Some of my REALLY old character aren't even in the testing thread since I used to make them in character profile thread in whatever guild they were for. Those characters... ugh, those were the dark ages, indeed. eek

Yeah, but my only options for presenting are Powerpoint (which I like, but my teacher is less than enthusiastic about), Prezi (which I hate), or a brochure (which has to be made from word, for no good reason). Ugh.

My first character was basically an overpowered weather fairy. Her backstory was that she got angry and created a tornado that killed everyone in her village. Looking back at her, I am ashamed, XD. I still use my second sometimes, but he's changed a looot. (I actually think you might have met him at NSA, Pallu.)

OH MY GOD PREZI. It's so weird. I mean, it looks cool but it's a serious PAIN IN THE BUTT to work with. People in my class always do Prezis and they just... ugh.

Oh, god, I hardly even remember my actual first character... I had so many characters that were so similar. I had a whole bunch of Nekos... emotion_facepalm And they were all basically the same. One of them was a good idea but ended up just not working at all because my writing really sucked. I've thought about bringing her back but I'm beginning to really hate the idea of reopening that 'neko' door. It was so cliché too... She was supposed to be a Cheshire Cat... And, Oh~ Pallu! I remember him.

I tried to work it in class, but got so frustrated I almost smacked the person next to me (not that he didn't totally deserve it, he was just sitting there messing with the zoom on his computer for 20 minutes and it was pissing me off)

Lol, I've only made one two three nekos. One of them died early on, the other I just killed myself, and the third (Pallu) is still somewhat alive in a 1x1 me and Dumpling are doing. (By the way, I dunno if she told you this, but she's not gonna be able to post a lot until.... whenever she gets back from wherever she's at, lol. Sometime next week).
Oo, sounds kinda interesting. Although, if you don't wanna open the neko door back up, I wouldn't. Maybe you could bring it back as like.. not a neko, ehehehe.

Ugh, that would've annoyed the crap out of me. I probably would have actually slapped them, lol. (probably not.)

ah, gotcha. Yeah I don't know what it was with me and nekos but I used them a lot for reasons I can not comprehend. And, she did not tell me that. That's good to know though.

Maybe, idk. I've sort of been drifting away from the Cheshire Cat phase and now I'm more in my Mad Hatter-type character phase with some Alice-like characters and a few Red Queen-ish people. Not in the literal Wonderland theme sense but in terms of personality if you get what I mean.

Lol, he got yelled at. I was really tempted to slap him, but didn't. Knew I'd get in trouble too...

I think I just found that nekos were an easy way to make a human-acting character that wasn't human. Either that, or I was just into cats. I was crazy when I used to role-play, XD. Btw, I just remembered that my first character's name was... (ready for it?) Akahana. Apparently I used Japanese names. And she owned a flower shop. Like wtf, me, wtf.

Yeah, I like to do that too. Make characters that are just based around something, but not so closely related to it that it's easy to tell. But sometimes I do that on accident (coughcoughKarter) and it just bugs me, so I have to either go in and fix it or just ignore it (even if it bothers me).

Pff, I have no idea what my deal was with nekos. I think it was because I saw them like everywhere and so I thought: "Oh, okay, role play must involve cat-people. Okay then." And, oh yeah... I used Japanese names too. I named several of my characters Yume which is literally Dream in Japanese. and I had a few other Japanese names I don't remember the meaning of but I know that they had something to do with the character...

Oh, I have characters like that! Percy is one of those, actually... I mean, I did make him with an idea from a book (A Wrinkle in Time) in mind but he ended up being a lot like the Doctor (Either the Tenth or the Eleventh. Can't quite decide). It just sort of happened... Fits him though.

I really need to start watching Doctor Who, it sounds so interesting but every time I get time I forget, lol.

You should totaly watch Doctor Who~ It's amazing. If you do start, I would suggest you start with the Reboot. It starts with the Ninth Doctor and you don't have to watch about 50 years worth of episodes. I mean, you can if you want to but starting with the 9th is easier if you want to catch up. (And they actually have it start with the 9th on Netflix.)

One of my friends wanted me to make a bow tie for their doctor who outfit... which is when I wanted to start watching it, because they explained to me what it was about, XD
Ugh, I don't get Netflix anymore. Will have to fine another way to watch, ahaha. But thanks for the suggestion; I'll try starting with that one ^^

Event Character

User Image
Name: Valentine Adler
Nickname: Val or Valve
Age: 20
Personality: Valve is... quiet, for the most part. He usually just follows his orders as given to him. In the way of looks, he seems to be very innocent. However, his tendency to do what others tells him and his current alignment with his clan is a pretty big giveaway. He does feel remorse about some of the things he does, but he was basically taught that what he was doing is right. However, he does like to do things in the way the he himself believes they should be doe. Valve is also kind of crafty. He has been known to follow orders, but carry them out in such a way that it ends up how he wants it. Lastly (to stop me from ranting), he is kind to those that knows and is fond of (even in the slightest).
Brief biography: Val was a pretty normal kid. He lived with his parents, middle class, etc. Nothing really out of the ordinary. Until, one day, his parents died in a car accident. He was 5, and was to be sent to foster care. However, Valve didn't want to go there. So he ran away, running for a long time. "I don't really remember how long, or how far." Eventually, he ended up at the manor of one mistress and her many servants. He was brought up in the house, eventually growing to follow each and every order he was told.
Any special abilities?: He can manipulate balls of light to his will. He basically uses them to stun his opponents, and to prevent them from seeing sometimes. He can also summon up little balls of light to act sort of like a shield. If there are enough of them (as in like 10) they will prevent him from taking any damage. But that is kind of difficult to set up, so he usually settles with 2-4, which only tones down the amount of damage he takes. He can also give them to other people, if he wants, but he doesn't usually ("I shouldn't have to do everything for you.") Anybody ever played Paper Mario Thousand Year Door? Inspiration from that 3rd to last fight.
Other: He's doesn't really have any magic that he can use to harm an opponent, so he carries some daggers around with him. He is pretty much an expert at throwing them. They almost always hit his targets, though not always exactly where he wants them to.
I should probably clarify: his name. No, it's not pronounced Valentine like the holiday. It's more like... vah-len-teen. So his nickname Val was also pronounced with the ah sound. Though, Valve was just like the regular kind of valve that you turn or whatever...

Just added a little thing to his powers... I just kinda thought of it and was like "okay, why not."
Just wanted to make sure it wasn't too much, I can take it away if it is.
(Copied it here so that you don't have to search the post for it smile
