Alutar managed a very faint smile when Amor would stress how he didn't want to get him into trouble for being grateful. He decided not to tell the other that the odds were he was already in trouble. So doing this small thing certainly couldn't make matters worse. However, his throat really hurt, so he merely nodded and closed his eyes. He would rest until Amor made his way back.

ALutar had begun to doze lightly in the time that Amor was gone. When he returned and offered the canteen, he cracked his eyes open and shifted his tail. he used the small tentacles upon it to take the canteen from Amor rather then his hands. Which he kept folded on his chest. "Thanks" He murmured as one tentacle twisted the top off. Alutar took a slow swallow, his face twisting from the pain that came. But it was brief, and the water helped ease the dryness. "I...don't think I got your name. I'm Alutar."

Alutar resumed drinking the water while Amor got over his moment of surprise, then introduced himself. Alutar tested his throat by gently clearing it, then twisted the cap back on the canteen. As he held it out to Amor with his tail, he smiled up at the other. "It's nice to meet you Amor. It'd be nicer if it hadn't happened like this but, it's still nice in it's own way." He pondered trying to sit up again, then discarded it. "If it's okay with you. I think I might take a nap here now. I think it's relatively safe enough, do you agree?"

Alutar gave Amor's words consideration. he was worn out and ready to sleep. With his wounds tended to he actually felt relaxed enough now. Still, he pushed himself back into a sitting position. "Your right. I should get back to the camp before I go to sleep. Thanks Amor. I really appreciate the help. Maybe after all this mess is over I'll get to see you when I'm not all bloody. Eh?"
