Name: Einar ArudSon (Son of Arud)
Gender: Male
Age/Apparent Age: 38
Race: Human / Viking
Height: 6'
Weight: 232lbs of pure muscle.
Normally, he is capable of benching approximately 600lbs, dead-lifting nearly 1200lbs, and overhead pressing roughly 300lbs. Striking around 2000 psi with a solid hit. Additionally, his sprinting speed maxes out near 15MPH while his relaxed run, or jogging, speed is much slower but can be maintained almost indefinitely, because vikings don't march they jog or relaxed run over long distances.
Appearance:
Personality: Einar has dedicated his life to the fulfillment of the gods and their will. As such he has become a hardy viking who has been Blut (blessed) To be a Viking dedicated to the gods one has to be a hardy warrior that others can follow for the one who leads people in the worship of the gods must also be the leader of his people. Einar is this in and out. A man who rose through tough and skin to get there. Dedicating his life to following the ways of the gods and becoming an honored member of Asgaard.
Allegiance: Currently undecided but resides on Earth
History/bio: Einar was born of Årud where the gods took his mother from him. The life he lead was being raised and working his way through childhood learning what it meant to be the different roles of vikings. There was a selection blacksmith, farmer, but of those with glory was the Jarl, the Warrior and the Berserker. He eventually chose to rise up and honor the gods more than any other viking in history. He started as a warrior who lead others in combat. There came a time when he was isolated and found how runes had a power to them. He then worked on strengthening his bond with the runes and felt the forces of the gods within.
While still in his younger years he lead two longboats on many assaults of the lowlands. Many still consider him young but his trusted axe Bjornhold has felt the blót of many foes. Imbued with the runes Hagalaz Tiwaz Nauthiz and Sowilo The runes have given power to the axe. Most accept without doubt all the gods look upon him with great favor. His name is sung throughout the halls and he looks now for more ways to accomplish the gods will.
Weapons: Bjornhold, Various Rune Stones, A large mead goat skin sack, 6 Viking Arrows
Weapon ability's: Bjornhold Swings with ease accepting only the grip of those worthy to wield it's haft. This large two handed axe hits with a varying effect. Bjornhold may use either of its effects once every four rounds; generating either a knock back effect of 5ft(that can reach an enemy up to 10ft away)(glows a blue color), allowing the weapon to cut through Natural defenses (such as scale, chitin, leathery skin, etc) as if it were normal human flesh, OR non-solid metal armors (such as chain mail, leather, lamellar, bone, or wood) as if it were no thicker than treated leather. (Glows a reddish color) or strike an opponent‘s weapon with so much force that it deadens their arms for a round.(Glows a black Color) Einar must designate which of these abilities he will use before attacking with his weapon; a supernatural glow appearing on Bjornhold‘s blade upon activation Bjornhold when it hits and so much as draws blood will hold the blood on it for one blood sacrifice per hit. Maxing out at four Sacrifices held.
The Various Runestones are single or double Runestones that apply a godly attack (magical) based off the runes imprinted. The runes however require blót to be activated. The form of sacrifice changes the resounding strength of the runestone. The first is mead which gives a weak and lower level effect. The second is strength. As in it is slammed into the ground and given force of energy this gives a middle level effect which is often only slightly more than the first blót. The greatest blót is the blood of thy enemies. The blood of his opponents allow him to use the runes to turn the tides of battle.
Large Goat Skin Mead Sack: Drink For Song. Drink For Glory, Drink For Battle. The Mead has three purposes blót for the runes, spilled mead is flammable and the third Is for a good drink. This holds approximately five pints of mead, which is enough for ten stones. Alternatively…he may pour out a pint at a time for the purpose of lighting a fire that lasts two rounds, and occupies an area approximately 5ftx5ft. Finally, he can drink a pint of mead every round…because he‘s a bad a** Norseman!
Viking Arrows: Throwing axes for a viking are bigger than thrown axes for everyone else. They are imbued deeply in viking culture an used in many rituals and competitions, as well as ceremonies. For most other cultures these are the same as one handed axes used in battle. These can be thrown up to 30 feet accurately.
Powers/abilities: Einar can call upon the gifts of the gods through the use of runestones. He has a pack of several special inlaid runestones that he keeps with him. These are the blessed runestones of the gods that require blót.
RUNESTONES:
The cost of using the runes is high. For mead is something that the gods frown upon wasting thus Einar almost never uses it. When mead is used due to the gods dislike a rune cannot be used for one post after it is used. Physical exertion saps his strength and stamina making him half his strength for the two posts after using the rune. Blood is blood an explanation of that cost should not be necessary. The only drawback of blood is having to acquire it either from an enemy or from oneself. Some stones will be destroyed in which he has three copies of each.
[~ Basic ~]
ᚷ (gebō) (Gift)
Technique Description:
This Runestone when used is mostly used on a viking arrow (a thrown handaxe) this causes it to multiply and suddenly become four thrown axes. They split immediately when thrown side by side triangle pattern and respectively a square. The second use for this is held to the chest of the user and fill him with vigor. It does NOT heal the user rather stops blood from falling, heals burns and completely numbs out the pain as well as fill him with a bloodlust. Mead (stops bleeding, reduces burns/frostbite by one degree of severity), Physical (removes all current sources of pain, but does not hinder future pain from affecting him), Blood (removes one negative effect of his choosing).
Mead: 2 axes
Physical: 3 axes
Blood: 4 axes
ᛊ (sōwilō) (means sun)
If thrown it causes a bright flash of pure sunlight. This light is so bright it blinds everyone aside from the user but it also for the period of blindness completely halts the ability to detect. However the blindness only lasts for half a post. This rune cannot be used for two posts after it is used and the original one is destroyed.
Mead: Half post
Physical: Half post
Blood: Full post
ᚲ (kaunan) (Torch)
Technique Description:
The Kaunan Rune when thrown Explodes upon impact releasing a large torrent of flames. The Flames blast upward in a pillar and leave one degree burns for any caught within as well as ignites wood. and other flammable objects making starting fires extremely easy. This stone type can not be used for two posts after used and the original is destroyed.
Mead: 4' wide by 10' tall pillar
Physical 5' wide by 10' tall
Blood 6' x12'
ᚱ (raidō) (Ride or Journey)
Technique Description:
This rune when thrown allows the one who has thrown it to be carried by the gods. This makes them blow in the wind in the direction thrown at an extremely fast speed. This rune is straining to the user so it cannot be used often four posts to recover and the original rune is destroyed.
Mead: up to 30 feet at 30 mph
Physical: 40 feet up to 40 mph
Blood: up to 50 feet at 50 mph
ᚠ (Fehu) (wealth)
This rune when used usually merely increases the effect of a rune used in congruency to double the runes power used with it. These runes can be costly and unpredictable to use. Due to the demanding nature of the rune three posts before using it again otherwise the gods will make the rune work in an extremely negative manner.
Mead: x1.5 the effect of a rune
Physical: x2 the effect of a rune
Blood: x2 the effect of a rune and allows him to replace a previously used and destroyed rune.

Mead: 1 rune
Physical: 2 runes

ᛚ laguz (Water, Lake or a leek)
The Rune when thrown. It Makes a ball of water that is used to capture a target or protect a friendly. Whatever inside if an enemy has to struggle as it's internal pressure is alike to being in the bottom of the ocean. However for a friendly it usually softens a fall or slows an attack. The bubble is a 10 foot sphere that lasts for two rounds. It can be swam out of depending highly on the amount of water pressure within the sphere. The stone must hit a target for it to activate. This rune cannot be used for another three posts and the original is destroyed.
Mead: lower water pressure, weaker defense. Water pressure is like being in the bottom of a 20 foot pool, Defenses can slow attacks but a shot arrow will go through it.
Physical: Medium water pressure, Medium defensive properties. Water is alike to being at the bottom of a 50-60 foot pond and thus significantly slows incoming attacks. An arrow fired would go half way through the bubble and likely only be able to scratch the person inside.
Blood: High water pressure, The water pressure is alike to being in the bottom of a deep lake or small sea. The water will press the air out of a persons lungs immediately. As for defensive it is extremely dense water and thus would stop arrows so they stick halfway into the side of the water and are thus stuck but could be pulled out.
Technique name: ᛞ dagaz (day) ᛟ ōþila- or ōþala-a- (possesion so together Day of Possesion)
Technique description:
This stone is placed into an attack. It makes the attack have a poisonous effect to the magic and stamina of an opponent. The gods feed upon the energy of the person hit for three turns. IF they have an energy system in play they instead of gaining have a loss of points equal to 1/3rd of their standard income. Physically the person finds themselves tiring at an alarming rate. Once active, Einar has two posts to successfully strike a target the wound MUST draw blood for the poison to enter them. The effect lasts three rounds, and then ends. Has a cool down of five posts IF it hits successfully, otherwise; the cool down is two posts.
Mead: The persons magic and stamina recovery rate is halved. so twice as long to catch their breath and instead of gaining ten point of mana they gain 5.
Physical: The persons Magic and stamina recovery rate is halted for the duration of the poison, additionally their cooldowns are increased by one turn when used so a 3 round cooldown suddenly becomes 4 rounds, this also effects current cooldowns already in effect have one more turn of cooldown.
Blood: If hit with the blood sacrifice poison the effects are brutal. A person finds themselves tiring even for simply not acting, their energy income magical or whatever is now at the point of loosing 2 points a turn (based on their energy system the number may change to match) Any cooldowns in effect are frozen and they are not cooling down in addition to any abilities they use are frozen and their cooldowns are stuck untill the poison lifts then all their cooldowns begin.
[~Advanced~] Requires Blood sacrifice for all advanced.
ᚦ (þurisaz) (The god Thor or Giant)
Technique Description:
When thrown it becomes becomes a massive bolt of lightning. This bolt flies ten times as fast as a normal arrow. This makes it very hard to dodge. The arrow is pure energy so when it hits the electricity will conduct into the target or dissipate. This shock will paralyze a person for 1 post and give minor burns. Travels 100mph in a straight line and has a cooldown of three posts. The only exception is electric conductive objects may intercede the bolt. So a sword spear or heavily armored opponent the lightning will be conducted toward it due to it's nature.
ᚢᚠ (ūruz-fehu) (Water, wealth or cattle)
Technique Description:
With these runes combined they make a massive torrential blast of water that is in the form of a mad bull at the front. The bull will slam with a strong hit and then explode into a wave of water. Once the bull hits and the person is slammed back they are knocked back 20 feet and left prone as well as soaked in water. It does not deal any additional damage and if the bull misses it simply vanishes. This cannot be used for four posts after the original.
Technique name: ᚢᛖᛗ ūruz-ehwaz-mannaz (Aurochs-horse-man)
This Rune is unique in the effects it makes. It takes the strength of the Auroch (largest strongest cattle to have ever existed.) And the speed of a horse and compounds it into the body of the human using it. It is something like a mythical steroid. The person will see their strength increase three folds of his standard strength and his speed increase two folds. However this rune has serious drawbacks in it use similar to steroids. The first drawback is while it is active the human is a blind raging beast. (meaning they are unable to use other runes or even tools) While to vikings this really isn't a huge negative in tight situations where one needs to think on his toes it is a death sentence. The second after it is over, three posts, the person who used it finds themselves at one quarter of his strength and half his speed (in reference to the speed and strength without the rune) for the next three posts.
{~Superior~} Requires a large blood sacrifice. (normal blood sacrifice is simply a few drop a larger blood sacrifice usually requires covering the stone in a decent amount.)
(FOR TOURNAMENT PURPOSES THESE ARE NOT ALLOWED)ᚦ Thor
The great god Thor is amongst the most powerful of all Viking gods and is often the god of war and also the god of healing. This rune has several effects.
The first is it can replace the users weapon with the hammer Mjolner itself. This hammer's strikes would flatten a mountain once hit. The hammer once thrown can instantly be recalled into the users hand and strikes like lightning. If blocked or used to block massive lightning bolts fly off that the wielder of Mjolner is invulnerable too. Mjolner is an invulnerable weapon unbreakable even to the gods and is considered the ultimate weapon of all Vikings. However once used in this manner a bow is not capable of being used. Also after this dissipates the user is unarmed for at least one round sometimes two depending on how it is used. One post if used for five rounds and two for ten. This rune can be used twice at once to create two Mjolners but then after the Mjolners are dissipated the effects of being weaponless are doubled. Two rounds for five and four for ten.
The second use is throwing the rune an it becomes a single Golden bolt of lightning. This Bolt completely paralyzes the target for one post. The bolt surges through the targets body burning them all along the body and throws them back at an incredible speed. The drawback is that the person who throws it is significantly drained of energy and unable to attack for the round the opponent is paralyzed, nor are they capable of using any abilities for the next three posts.
Technique name: ᚨ Ansuz (Odin)
Technique rank: Superior
Technique description:
This Rune is one of the most potent Viking runes. The god Odin was Ruler of the realm of gods and guide of the souls. This rune put into a weapon causes the weapon to become almost invisible and ethereal. If thrown It locks onto a target chasing them around. Once it hits it will pierce most anything and will then attempt to explode into small bolts outward in all directions. However this weapon will explode like this on anything it hits. It also is very predictable with it's flight patterns.
For a held item it will become Ethereal for three posts making it essentially invisible to the opponent.
Equipment:Einar has a thick fur cloak like coat made from the Fur of the mythical Sabrecat. The fur itself cannot catch fire and protects the user from the cold. It resists up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit of heat and -40 degrees Fahrenheit of cold.
Armor: Einar wears a plated brigandine armor. It is lighter armor with protective properties of the heavier sets of armor. Alike to wearing full plate armor only it is done with smaller plates that leave openings in areas not often hit. His great boots allow him to walk on any surface without adverse effects, he will not slip and fall, will not burn when walking on fields of fire nor will he chill when walking through frozen wastelands up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit of heat and -40 degrees Fahrenheit of cold. At least.. his feet won't.
Twin Heavy Gauntlets. He has two heavy Gauntlets imbued with the runes Algiz and Nauthiz. These gauntlets thanks to these runes are harder then most Steel and protects his hands fervently.
