xxxAND SO... Kira used to be a very nice girl. When she was born, her mother bestowed a prize and cherished family heirloom, a gold trinket on a plain necklace. Kira always went to the market to get bread, but she had to be done and back by sundown. One night she was running late, and it would be a night she would never forget. She was sprinting home as fast as she could (which was quite fast for someone of her age) when it all happened. When life as she knew it crumbled before her eyes. See, her dad owed a black market merchant a LOT of chash. He had been barely making it along and wanted to give his beautiful wife and beloved daughter the live they deserved. What he didn't get was the you generally have to pay back what you "borrow" there if no such thing as free "gifts" when it comes to the black market.
She was running home when the shouts came. Scrambling up on crates, she gazed in horror as men slaughtered her mother and father. The last memory Kira has is her mom looking at her with pleading eyes. She said something then, something that's eaten Kira alive since that day. She just couldn't make out what she said. For all she knew, it could have been something as a warning, or a simple "I love you", but Kira knew, and knows, that it was much more then that. That was all she saw before a colorful red and black mask blocked her way. Ducking down, she would hide in a crate as the men stormed out of the house.
Silent tears trickled over a horror stricken face. Once she was sure the men were gone, she instantly crawled out and ran blindly down the street. A small explosion and a lung full of smoke was all Kira needed to know that the men had set the house on fire, cleaning up their handy work. The officials labeled it as a incident. A simple fireplace flame gone wrong. But Kira knows better, sure, it was dark out, but the mask. She will NEVER forget the mask...
Now Kira is a very hardened female, coming off as cold and unemotionless as possible. It seemed nearly miraculous how little emotion she showed, though, many played it of as the Nara in her. She hates all the work and papers that she has had to take on since her parents' deaths. She would much rather be in the forest practicing acrobatics that she loves so much. Or, should she strive to go even deeper, into the woods that housed her favorite companions, deer. They and the clan were her only family now, and she intended to protect them no matter what. 。

xxxIF ONLY... Kira's only goal now is to strive to bring her clan back to its former glory that it was when her father ran it, and his father before him. Sure, it is a lot of pressure trying to put forth a "leadership" type of attitude that the males before her had laid down the roadwork for, but it is nothing that she can't handle. Though, secretly, she wishes to avenge the masked men that slaughtered the only REAL family she has ever had. Perhaps this is why she absolutely despises the masked village ANBU... 。
