Ed couldn't tell if Angela was simply being friendly or if she had some other ulterior motive in talking with him. He would just have to think it over later when he had time, especially since it seems they had run out of conversation time here anyway as the festival was closing. It would be weird to stick around after the event just to talk to someone who was basically a stranger when his shirt was still sticky and in desperate need of a replacement. So, once she had finished talking, he gave her a quick comment of, “Interesting.” He nodded his head to the surroundings without missing a beat and continued, “The festival is over. I appreciate your offer to donate to the library and look forward to seeing you there in the future. Goodbye, Angela.” He paused a moment in contemplation before turning and leaving the festival grounds.

It's cool. Talk to you later.” Tess said quickly as Will had to run off with the kid, keeping a smile up until the point she turned to walk away herself. God, she was happy to not have any kids left. It was sort of a drag to have to run out in the middle of a conversation because of a fussy toddler. Still, seeing the little one did make her miss her son a bit, even if he was literally right at home. She took out her cell phone as she started away from the festival grounds, dialing his number to leave him a probably awkward message.

Xochiquetzal frowned as Miah shortened her name so blatantly, not exactly liking the idea of someone not pronouncing her whole name in all it's glory. But, whatever comment she had for the girl died when it was brought to her attention that she did not win. Neither did Miah, but some.. old man and a blonde female she had yet to see before..? She creased her brow in their direction as Miah took off, waving limply at the girl as her attention was focused on trying to remember the 'champions'. This.. this had to be a joke, correct..? She would have to pay them a visit for taking her rightful title away from her – if only.. she could see their face.. But, the crowd had started to disperse and Xochiquetzal couldn't help but to follow along with it as they began to move around her. All she had left was the visual of long blonde hair and some crusty old guy that looked to be around her father's age.
