2. You may open threads wherever you please as long as your thread hasn't been made before, the topic hasn't been covered yet, and you can't post it anywhere else. When in doubt, PM me and I'll help.
3. Don't get banned from Gaia. We will miss you.
4. Don't get the guild reported, please. Any n***s must be linked to via Deviant Art and not posted directly in the guild.
5. It's a good idea to get into a growth mindset. We're all students and mentors here. We can learn a lot from each other, so it's always a good idea not to let our pride get in the way of our personal and artistic growth.
Art Challenges & Events Some challenges are ongoing, some have a fixed time for completion. Some challenges have prizes, some challenges are aimed at creating new habits - like drawing daily and overcoming art block. You're welcome to start your own challenge for everyone to participate in as long as it benefits the participants' artistic growth. Cool new challenges will be announced via the guild announcements.
Classes, Tutorials & Assignments This is where we go to upgrade our skills. Test your skill and start "levelling up" on your artistic journey with in-depth tutorials arranged in an atelier-style curriculum. The curriculum are aimed for mastery and developing our own unique styles and voices as artists. You can decide between still life, portraiture, figure drawing, landscape classes and many more.
Critique & Feedback Personal work and practice sketches can be posted here for constructive critique and advice. The focus is on improving our art, not getting compliments or "art bashing" another. If you have the time, skill and tools to do paint- or draw-overs for fellow artists and hobbyists, please do!
Your Art Diary & Personal Projects This is where you can keep track of your artistic experiments, personal projects, thoughts and feelings. You can invite feedback and comments, or not. You can create a simple art dump. Whatever you like as long as it follows the simple guild rules.
Career Chat With internet and remote job opportunities, freelancing, Patreon, RLC commissions, drop-shipping art print services, YouTube and Instagram, etc, making money on the side or becoming a full-time artist can become our reality. In this subforum, we talk about everything art career related. Create threads freely.
Mindset & Motivation Being an artist means having the tenacity to get back up and try again and again even after failing myriad times. Mastery and success, in any skill and area of life, boils down to our mindset. This is also where we discuss our goals and figure out solutions to art block, self-doubt, fears, etc.

If you love the guild and take pride in being a part of it, please promote it and invite artsy people to join us! Everyone is welcome, as long as they want to draw/learn to draw.
Digital artists are also welcome. Art foundations will always be what they are. We can all learn from each other, so the more the merrier.
You can put a link to the guild in your siggy (perhaps along with something you or another guild member drew) or you can invite potential future members in the forum threads or via PM.
Of course, you don't have to go scouting for new members unless you want to. Whenever you naturally meet an artsy Gaian, though, mention that they are more than welcome to join us!
