"By the way, why are you taking orders from a student? I was in your class just a couple days ago. Although, I wouldn't expect you to remember me, I think I was just sitting there drawing or something..."⊰

Aspen laughed slightly and shook her head at Troy's response. "I wouldn't say anything. I mean, sure, he would, but he's not my puppet to order around." Ash said in a matter-of-factly way and shrugged her shoulders. "If you must know, my name is Aspen. Aspen Bell." He was correct in the bit about working with Vincent. She had, after all, accepted the position to work alongside him as an assistant in his literature class. Though she had her doubts on whether or not she'd be good enough or much rather know what to do once it came down to it.
Even though Vincent questioned Troy's idea of a favor, he still complied nevertheless. She watched with Troy as he completed his workout, quite quickly she had to say, and she clapped her hands encouragingly as he did his jumping jacks. Once he was finished, she couldn't help but break out in a fit of giggles as he trotted over in triumph of his accomplishment. "That's my boy!" Aspen hooted cheerfully, grinning from ear to ear. She waved away his apology, no longer even thinking of what happened a few moments ago. "Hey, its okay, no harm done!"

Yuuki Kuran The little fox was startled by the blonde boy's sudden approach and grabbing of the other girl, that she quickly darted away to what seemed a safe distance. She was still within ear shot though, and could hear everything that was said. The blonde boy, who, despite saying he wouldn't, introduced himself as Troy, then proceeded to give the man he addressed as "Mr. Vincent" a set of very unusual demands. Yuuki titled her head curiously, by their reactions she was expecting some sort of fight to break out, but instead Mr.Vincent complied to what the boy had demanded and begun his work out. Seeing as though the situation had calmed down, she assumed it was okay for her to return, and cautiously walked over and took a seat next to the girl. Vincent completed the work-out with ease, and triumphantly trotted back over. At which point the little fox stood up from her sitting position and excitedly bolted over to him. Her ear's perked up straight, her tail wagging enthusiastically, all this was her attempt at congratulating him for completing the task. It was also a way for her to express her excitement of being in their presence. She hadn't met a lot of people since coming to the academy and was always eager to make new friends. She happily continued with her little celebration, darting around Vincent's legs, then Troy's before bounding back over to Aspen. As she came to a stop, she lifted her front paws and set them down on the other girl's knees. This gave her more height, so she was able to raise her head and meet the girl's gaze with her own.

"Now that you mention it, I do remember someone of that name. Anyway, that's not really important now is it?" He turned to face Aspen. Vincent laughed at her remark of "That's my boy!". "I just did what I had to do. it's was nothing really." Vincent looked nervously at the ground as a blush crept across his face.
The fox trotted over to Vincent, clearly excited and started darting through everyone's legs. Vincent laughed wholeheartedly as the fox pawed at Aspen. "I see we've made a new friend."✱✲✳❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷Ⓕⓐⓛⓛⓞⓝ✱✲✳❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ "There's no sense crying over every mistake.

Just a guy with a life. ⊱Troy fell over as the fox ran through his legs, falling on his back. He laughed. "Someone's energetic." He said, leaning up on his elbows. "Speaking of which, why would a fox be out here?" He said, looking at the forest. Surely the fox hadn't just wandered out...?
Troy shook his head. The fox was probably just as surprised by walking on water as he was, and there was nothing more to it. He started to stand up again, staring at the water under him. Would fish swim there? Or would they be flopping around on the water too?⊰

Aspen Bell
Aspen smiled brightly down at the fox as it trotted over to her. Its little paws found her knees which allowed her face to become eye level with her own. Ash's head perked up when Vincent laughed, saying they had made a new friend. She nearly contained a giggle of joy and almost let go of the child inside of her. "She's so cute~! I just want to pick her up and take her home with me!" she gushed happily and stroked the foxes chin. Though Aspen the fox would go along with her, it was a wild animal after all, she still couldn't help but marvel at the idea of it. At Troy's question on why the little red fox would be here in the first place, she just shrugged. "Probably just ventured out of the forest to take a peep at the lake," she suggested, picking up fox and hoping it would lay on her lap.

Yuuki Kuran Yuuki curled up into a ball, and snuggled comfortably into Aspen's lap. Her big bushy tail wrapped around her body, and hid most of her face. Only her bright blues eyes managed to peep over all her fur. She glanced over at Vincent, then Troy, then briefly up at Aspen. They all seemed to be wondering why she was out here. So she decided, now might be the best time to reveal her true self. She would take it in steps of course, usually when she revealed herself it came as quite a shock to people. So for now, she would start by answering Troy's question. "Well why else would I be out here? To test out the rumour of the lake of course! Isn't that why you're hear?" She asked, glancing around at each of them again, waiting for their response, while still sitting comfortably in Aspen's lap.

Just a guy with a life. ⊱Troy nodded at the fox. "Yeah, but you're just a-" He stopped there, looking at the fox. Foxes don't talk. He tilted his head, like a child trying to figure it out. Foxes don't talk, so why was this one? There were so many possibilities, magic fox, shapeshifter, fox learned english, human, which one!?
Troy took a step towards the fox. "You.. just... talked...?" He said, in an almost questioning tone. "How...?" Was all he managed to get out. It wasn't normal for Troy to be at a loss for words, but he didn't know if he should talk back to the fox, or run away like it was the scariest thing ever.
After a minute or so of being confused, Troy looked at his watch. "Sh------ crap. I've got another class. Gotta run. See ya soon, Vince~" Troy said, waving as he ran towards the school again ((Exit))⊰

He stifled a little yawn and studied the fox curiously. It was indeed a nice mystery to contemplate. "Ooh, I've never met a talking fox before! Anything's possible at this school..." Vincent's voice trailed off as he finished his sentence. His eyes were filled with awe. It was almost as if he were entranced. After a few moments, Vince snapped back out of his trance and turned to face the fox and Aspen. "Well little fox, what's your name?" He didn't want to ask too many questions at once. Aspen watched as Troy left them, obviously not only needing to attend the class he spoke briefly about but also astonished about their little fox friend speaking up so suddenly. She was a little taken aback at first, but this probably wasn't the only surprise in store for her at the academy. After all, it was a circus! "Its kind of strange meeting a talking fox and being a human myself, I should be alarmed, but I'm not! Funny how that works out so naturally," she mused aloud, reaching out her hand again to stroke its soft, red fur. Vincent asked the fox its name and she stared down at it with her auburn eyes, patiently awaiting its answer. She was actually quite curious to be honest. It wasn't everyday you got to speak to a talking fox right? Might as well take every chance ya get..

If you're just going to drop something on my head, at least give me a fair warning!" The letter was sealed with a beautiful royal blue sticker. Vincent motioned for Aspen to join him as he opened the letter. "Let's see what's inside!" On a piece of parchment inside, an elegant script read: You have been cordially invited to a dinner party to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the school. The party is being held at the O'Ryley Manor. We hope to be seeing you shortly! - The Headmistresses
Vincent turned to face Aspen, a bright gleam in his eye. It had been a long time since he had been invited to attend a party. He hadn't had many friends growing up. It would be an honor to attend this one if the Headmistresses themselves invited him. "Hey Aspen, do you think you'd want to go?" Vince didn't want to force Aspen into anything.  I d o n ' t w a n t t o h u r t y o u . I t r u l y d o n ' t . Aspen continued to stroke the fox creature that laid in her lap, smiling softly at it. It wasn't until a few moments later that she heard the flapping of a birds wings above the trio and she glanced up just as it dropped a letter from its claws. It flitted down until it landed on Vincent's head and she let out a small laugh as he shouted after the bird even though it had already flown away and out of sight.
Curious as to what the letter was, she got up from her place on the water and walked over to Vincent, carefully holding the fox in her arms. She read the letter as he opened it up, skimming along the words until she saw the words 'dinner party.' It had been awhile since she had attended any sort of party at the school, besides the circus event which wasn't too long ago, and an excited grin came upon her face. She bobbed her head at his question before saying, "Yeah, why not? It seems fun!" Aspen then glanced down towards the fox, and thinking it wouldn't want to go to a crowded place that was bound to be full of people, she crouched and released the animal from her arms. "I'll have to meet you another time little fox." Aspen said lightly, ruffling her hand over its soft fur.
She stood back up again and started to walk backwards, smiling at Vince. "Shall we?" Aspen asked with a small giggle and trotted off towards the school where the party was held.

He bounced with anticipation at the thought of finally going to a party. He was also starving because he was always hungry. "Let's be off, my fair lady!" He exclaimed, winking at Aspen.
