I like the scavenger hunt idea. That's actually really neat, and it would definitely encourage more people to participate.

I also have quite a few fairly valuable items (older evolving items and monthly items, mostly) that I never use, and would be happy to either sell them for gold, or just donate the items themselves to be used as prizes.
When I get the chance, I'll try to make a comprehensive list of all the items I have that are of any relatively substantial value that I'd be willing to donate as potential prizes, and we can decide which of those should be sold and which of those we might want to hang onto for prizes.
Also, if we don't already have one, we should have a guild mule to act as our "guild assets account." That way people can just donate any gold or items they wish to donate to the guild to that account (since the only thing gold that's donated directly to the guild is good for is buying subforums, and I think we're set on those).
