The word "Hell" is allowed if you are referring to the place now if you were telling someone to "go to Hell" then we would have issues. XD

I personally think that Hell houses are stupid.
I don't need a youth group acting like sinners to know that some of these things are wrong and are sins.
I also feel that in a way it's the same thing as a haunted house only difference is that you are trying to scare people straight.
I feel that it's kinda hypocritical to have one/go to one most Christians get butthurt over Halloween but they can have their own version of Halloween in their parking lot you know the whole trunk or treat and hell house thing?
Yeah no matter how you sugar coat it you are being a hypocrite.

I'm not against trick or treating I think God knows the difference in playing dress up and collecting candy then doing an actual Satanic ritual.
He knows your heart.

Halloween has nothing to do with satanic rituals, except in popular culture. And maybe within some teenaged cliques...at least as far as I'm aware.

Thanks everyone, for your support. It was a long time ago, but obviously it's something that still affects my opinion on the subject. There's a reason secular haunts want to be as far removed from those folks as they can get.

Any connection between Halloween and satanism is incidental. Halloween doesn't have any historical ties to satanic anything. It's a collection of several Christian and pagan European traditions that got melded together in America sometime in the early 20th century.

I said Satanic rituals because some nimrod at a church told me that Halloween was Satanic and bad when they were dresses up and giving out candy in the church parking lot.
I know that it's a pagan holiday with no real ties to Satanism, for Christ sakes I'm dating a wiccan. D;
I was pointing out the fact that most Christians don't really know what they are talking about when they say things are Satanic.

I do see your point of decrying something and then trying to purify it. If it's bad, than just leave it alone, right? Of course right.
