Because of recent staff changes within Gaia, I'm a bit fearful, really... It's reminded me even more how much I miss the fun we had, though. I just want to know how things are and that everyone is still as vibrant and as lovely as before.
Those who are active, how are things? You do anything fun lately? Are you excited about what the summer event will be like? Will you be participating? Relieved that the college semester/school year is almost over? Are you slowly crawling your way there like me? Can you believe it's been almost a year since the Gaia Olympics?

I've missed everyone from the event.
Was so much fun, and then over time everyone went PEWF.

As for how things have been here; not bad. Had a fantastic night out with friends for my best friend's birthday.
Had quite a few drinks, did a lot of dancing, and only stumbled around a little bit. Was pretty great.
Not sure what to expect for the summer event, and I'm not sure if I'll be participating. Depends on what it is I suppose.

I know, right? I really hope this summer people are able to be more active on Gaia, even if they take summer classes like me. It'd be nice to chat with some familiar faces.
Sounds like you had a lot of fun. =) I enjoy going dancing with friends too, but I'm not old enough to drink yet lolz. Do you go to night clubs? Techno clubs are my favorite.
If it's half as fun as last year was I think I'll be satisfied but events on Gaia are pretty hit or miss with me. Lately the events have been a lotta grinding and repetitive tasks and ugh...

Hey Grim, glad to see you again. ^_^ Things are finally calming down on this end. I'm enjoying a rainy Sunday sipping hot tea and listening to my "meditation/relaxation" playlist while still shamelessly in my Hello Kitty pajamas. I will more than likely take part in the summer event, although if it takes place during Otakon, I probably won't be able to. XD I am super excited to be going this year, and I can't wait to share my experience with everyone.

I really hope so!
Erm... quite a long list of Gaia's staff was laid off this week. Panagrammic, [ JK ], PRISM, and Buki among them. There are others but those four in particular really stand out because they're so well known to the community and long time employees. I'll miss everyone so much. =/ Not everyone has been confirmed but I've seen numbers as high as 20...

Their titles are still there so I assume they are still with Gaia.

I'm really sad that I haven't been around much. With the all nighters that designing has me pull off to the recent changes in everything around me, I am trying to get back into the swing of things on here. I check back every other day, and I can't wait for the summer to start up and see all of Durem's lovely faces again.

Gah, I miss everyone too! But because of school and everything (just graduated hs a few weeks ago, yay! haha) I didn't get on here as much as I used to. I'll always love my Duremites, though 3nodding

I think school/jobs/family/irlfriends seem to be taking us all away from Gaia more and more.
Would certainly be nice if people gather for events though.

Oh man, I've been drinking age here for.. well bout 3 years this August.
But to be legal here [in most provinces anyway] you have to be 19. I think it's 18 in Quebec, and somewhere else.
I love to dance, I swear it's my happy place. Nightclubs are a lot of fun.
Getting all dressed up, throw on a pair of heels, and dance the night away~
Don't get to do that very often, so I'm hoping to have a night out for my birthday. xD

Between costume fittings, family life, friend issues, and going to shows (my husband plays banjo in a bluegrass band) and the gym, I have sadly neglected my online family. sad
