Da Bad Guy had been taking refuge in the janitor's closet, unbeknownst to Tiger. The plan was to leap out as he opened the door, hopefully allowing Da Bad Guy to ambush Tiger with a mop handle. But rather, Bad Guy had gotten his foot caught in the rolling mop bucket that was inside the utility room, and his unintended slide into the door created just enough noise for Tiger to catch on to his location.
Just as Tiger entered the broom closet, Da Bad Guy would try to flee on foot, barreling through the doorway while trying to push Tiger down with a mop handle he'd fetched while hiding. If he managed to surprise Tiger and get the cat off his feet once again, Da Bad Guy would take off down the hallway towards the garage area, using the bucket like a skate as he pedaled with his free leg.
