Hideyoshi's Story: Hideyoshi is an orphan from Konohagakure and even though parentless has grown to be a fine young man and Shinobi. However, even after being born in a time of peace and being quite liked around his village, the question of where it was he came from still burned bright within his heart. So, after seeking special permission from his predecessor, Hideyoshi set out on a voyage of self discovery that would eventually shape his destiny forever...
After finding the Emperor's brush in the ruins of an ancient castle and discovering the ancient home of the Summoning Pandas: the Divine Monochrome Grove; Hideyoshi soon forgot the longing he had been feeling towards his parents and finally came to terms with himself as a person. He began to appreciate his existence and the amazing things he had seen and his talents as an artist. He put the mystery of his parents to bed and with a smile began to make his way home...
Ruri'iro's Story: Born in a time of war in the Land of Snow, one brought about by the collapse of the old Yukigakure, Ruri'iro was groomed to be the leader of his clan. But the young man refused his birthright, wanting something better than the constant warfare he and his clan were cursed with day after day, one that took his parents away from him at a young age.
So the young man left the Land of Snow, resolving to find this better life for him and his people. These travels took him all around the world, to every great Shinobi Village, where he learned their origins and learned about the Kages. He learned advanced Water Element Techniques from the ninjas of Kirigakure, how to use a fan as a weapon and ninja tool in Sunagakure, and improved on his Bukijutsu in Kumogakure. He was on his way to the Land of Fire and Konohagakure, when he had a fateful meeting with a fellow artist.
When they meet: The two future Kage's meet in a town on the boarders of the Land of Fire and the Land of Hot Springs. It is a warm summer's day and the small boarder town is hosting a festival to commemorate the end of the Aoigetsu vs Akatsuki war; there were many events being held during the festival and one of the contests was an Art Competition. Naturally, both men entered thinking themselves artists and competed against one and other. What happened after that, no one is really sure about even to this day; for the first time in the village's history, the contest was declared a draw between Ruri'iro's Ice Sculptures depicting the ominous Shinigami believed to be Master of the Aoigetsu and Hideyoshi's mural dedicated to the two Uchiha brothers Adderson and Masshuu and their personal vendetta against the Chiyura. The two men, unable to accept the draw decided to take the competition a step further and turned it into a duel.
Destined for greatness, Hideyoshi and Ruri'iro found themselves meeting on the southern coast of the Hot Spring Country not hours later...

Personality/Mannerism: To describe Hideyoshi isn't very hard. A joker. A clown. A Goof ball. It is sometimes hard to consider how the wise cracking artist became the Hokage. However, for all the silly and goofy attributes that the young man has; there are some quality and pure attributes too. He is modest, caring and grateful for all he has due to his background and compassionate beyond belief. Fighting is always his last course of action and even then, the kindness and tenderness Hideyoshi displays towards his opponents is sad especially in fights that are to the death. For, if Hideyoshi wins the fight, he is deeply saddened and affected by the lose he has brought about.
Something many people worry about is what would happen and furthermore how dangerous it would be if anyone was able to break his seemingly always sunny disposition.
Facial Features: Hideyoshi has a handsome pale face, with deep brown eyes and a somewhat goofy smile. However, his most talked about feature is the stubble he keeps on his chin, as it often divides opinion whilst he says it makes him look "wiser".

ѻ Soushuriken no Jutsu - Manipulate Shuriken Technique ~ D Rank Soushuriken no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu used Uchiha Sasuke. After hurling his giant shuriken, Sasuke can control their path and movements by using wires which run from the shuriken itself back to his arm. Because his opponent will think they are normal shuriken, they will be off guard about their ability to redirect themselves.
ѻ Ayatsuito no Jutsu - String Reeling Technique ~ D Rank Ayatsuito no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing wire. This string can be used in rappeling, or as a method to tie down and restrict the movement of an opponent. The Uchiha clan also utilizes the wire in their Sharingan Soufuusha Sannotachi technique. The wire allows the clan member to pin down an opponent, and then unleash a torrent of fire upon them.
ѻ Shunshin no Jutsu - Body Flicker Technique ~ D Rank Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu. The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.
ѻ Kage Shuriken no Jutsu - Shadow Shuriken Technique ~ D Rank Kage Shuriken no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu utilizing a giant Fuuma Shuriken. When throwing the shuriken, the ninja will also throw a second giant shuriken to hide in the shadow of the first. The hidden secondary shuriken can then approach the target without their being aware.
ѻ Kami Shuriken - Paper Shuriken ~ D Rank Kami Shuriken is a Ninjutsu used by Akatsuki member Konan. Using her high origami skills, Konan will form her paper into bird-like shapes. After throwing these at the target, they can fly through the air and cut through the victim. When she was younger, Konan required the use of a Fuuton technique to add "punch" to the thrown shuriken. After she advanced her skills, she appears to be able to launch them with enough deadly force by herself.
ѻ Sumi Shuriken - Ink Shuriken ~ D Rank ~ Custom Kami Shuriken is a Ninjutsu created by Hideyoshi after he was inspired by the Kami Shuriken technique. Using his skills in Ink based Ninjutsu, Hideyoshi will launch numerous or singular splodges of ink towards his opponent; at first they may appear harmless but whilst travelling through the air the splodges will shake off any excess ink to reveal serrated ink discs with tremendous cutting and piercing power. Hideyoshi may also manipulate the shapes of the Shuriken made using this jutsu.
ѻ Kai - Release ~ C Rank Kai is a Ninjutsu which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.
ѻ Kami Bunshin no Jutsu - Paper Clone Technique ~ C Rank Kami Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu used by Akatsuki member Konan. Using her ability to manipulate paper, she will form a clone made up of numerous sheets. Because it is made up of many lesser parts, the clone can disperse and reform without ending its existence. When her need for the clone ends, she can disperse the sheets and end the clone.
ѻ Soushuuha - Manipulate Advancing Blades ~ C Rank Soushuuha is a Ninjutsu used by Sand ninja Yashamaru. This technique allows Yashamaru to hover multiple kunai in the air while he approaches a target. The technique allows a ninja to unleash a torrent of kunai much more quickly than if each was thrown individually.
ѻ Sumi Gasumi no Jutsu - Ink Haze Technique ~ C Rank Sumi Gasumi no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu that utilizes ink to hide an escape. After forming the needed hand seal, ink will surround the ninja to hide the movement of their ultra fast escape

ѻ Choujuu Giga - Super Beast Imitation Drawing ~ B Rank Ninpou: Choujuu Giga is a Ninjutsu used by the mysterious ninja Sai. Gifted with much artistic talent, Sai can remove his special scroll and ink drawings on its surface. Forming the needed handseal he can then give life to the art, allowing it to spring off the page and obey his will.
ѻ Sumi Nagashi - Ink Flush ~ B Rank By directly pouring out his ink instead of using it to draw, Sai can create a large amount of creatures such as a nest of snakes to attack the target. Should the opponent prove strong enough to break the binds if restrained, they can reform around the target, making struggling pointless.
ѻ Sakki ~ Killing Intent ~ B Rank Killing Intent is simply the user exuding pure killing intention, and having it affect their opponent, themselves, and others around them, up to the point of paralysing them with fear. When the Killing Intent is particularly strong, it can even give the victim visions of their own gruesome death. This can cause killing intent to be confused with a genjutsu, despite it not being a technique at all.
Taijutsu: ѻ Dynamic • Action (Dainamikku • Akushon) ~ D Rank Dynamic Action is a Taijutsu technique used by Might Guy. Guy will launch himself at his opponent and then use a barrage of strikes and kicks.
ѻ Dynamic • Entry (Dainamikku • Entorii) ~ D Rank Dynamic Entry is a Taijutsu technique used by Might Guy. Guy will throw a kunai to distract his targets attention, he will then use his speed and agility to quickly approach and attack his opponent from their blind side.
ѻ Konoha Kage Buyou - Leaf Shadow Dance ~ C Rank Konoha Kage Buyou is a Taijutsu technique that is used to position a ninja's opponent into a vulnerable aerial position. The ninja will first quickly appear below their opponent, then with a switch upper kick they will launch their target into the air. The ninja will then jump into the air to "shadow" the target with the target's back to their chest. Rock Lee uses the Konoha Kage Bayou to place his opponent into a position to do his Omote Renge technique. Uchiha Sasuke would go on to copy this move to set up his opponent for his Shishi Rendan technique.
Doujutsu: ѻ Shōsai no Ai - Eye for Detail ~ C Rank ~ Custom Developed by Hideyoshi in his art studio whilst painting. Annoyed with his inability to get into the nitty gritty details of his paintings, he began to get frustrated. So, to combat this and relieve some of the stress he was feeling he made a Doujutsu that enhanced his perception. Not only that but also his perception, in battle he uses it to much like a Sharingan user uses their Sharingan to predict and notice attacks. He also sees colour more vividly, making it easy for him to spot discrepancies.
The Doujutsu doesn't really change the appearance of Hideyoshi's eyes, instead just making them a brighter version of their natural colour.
ѻ Aku no Ai - Eye for Evil ~ B Rank ~ Custom Aku no Ai is a sensory doujutsu that Hideyoshi uses to detect people within large crowds whom have ill will towards him. Used normally to detect hidden enemies, it locks onto chakra fluctuating with malicious intent and makes that person glow red in Hideyoshi's eyes. It can also detect cloaked or disguised enemies.
Whilst using this jutsu, Hideyoshi's irises turn yellow.
ѻ Genjitsu no Ai - Eye for Reality ~ B Rank ~ Custom Used for breaking out a Genjutsu, Genjitsu no Ai allows Hideyoshi to deceive his opponents by allowing him to literally see through a Genjutsu and let him look upon reality without the influence of his opponent. For example, if someone was to cast an illusion on him that trapped him in an cage, Hideyoshi would see the world as it should be: without the cage.
This technique must be activated to work and when activated changes his iris colour to blue.
ѻ Ishoku - Hetrochromia ~ B Rank ~ Custom This technique allows Hideyoshi to use two of his Doujutsu at the same time by allotting one Doujutsu to each of his eyes. He must activate this technique for it to take effect and his eyes appearance changes depending on the activated Doujutsu.
Kenjutsu: ѻ Hien - Flying Swallow ~ B Rank Hien is a Taijutsu technique used by the Leaf ninja Asuma. Feeding his chakra into his knuckle knives, Asuma will extend the length of his blades. An extra extension of invisible chakra will create a sharp edge that functions like the normal blade itself. Seeing his knives his opponent may misjudge how far they need to move to avoid an incoming strike. Even if they manage to avoid the metal portion of the blade, the chakra portion may cut into them as well.
Fuuinjutsu: ѻ Tasaina Fuuins - Versatile Seals ~ C Rank ~ Custom A technique which allows Hideyoshi to move his seals from one surface to another by placing the same seal on the new desired surface. It does not cost another bout of chakra in order to replace the seal, instead only using chakra to move it. The previous seal also vanishes.
ѻ Fukashi Fuuins - Invisible Seals ~ C Rank ~ Custom A technique which allows Hideyoshi to make any seal he casts to become invisible.
ѻ Sumi Saiten Fuuin - Ink Marking Seal ~ C Rank ~ Custom By charging his ink with special Fuuin Chakra, Hideyoshi can leave a stripe of paint on a foe or surface and "throw" his techniques towards the seal. By "throw" it means that a technique can pretty much be cast at the location of seal no matter where the caster is. The caster would still have to pay the required chakra amount for the "thrown" technique.
ѻ Shikoku Fuuin - Finger Engraving Seal ~ C Rank Shikoku Fuuin is a Fuuinjutsu used by the Leaf Sannin Jiraiya. By forming the needed sealing chakra on his finger, Jiraiya can engrave a message into an object.
ѻ Keiyaku Fuuin - Contract Seal ~ C Rank Keiyaku Fuuin is a Fuuinjutsu used to terminate active Kuchiyose agreement control. To use the jutsu, Yondaime will touch his palm to the bloody body of the contract holder. He will then activate the seal, which will remove control of the summoned creature. Utilizing this jutsu, Yondaime was able to end Tobi's Sharingan mind control of the Kyuubi.
ѻ Fuuin Bakuhatsu - Sealed Explosion ~ C Rank ~ Custom Hideyoshi can create exploding seals using his ink. These seals can be placed on all surfaces. These seals can triggered at will, on a timer or via proximity.
ѻ Koshi Tandan - Tiger Vision Watching Intently Projectile ~ B Rank Koshi Tandan is a Fuuinjutsu used by Sai which utilizes his Choujuu Giga technique. Because it will take Sai awhile to paint the scroll, he will be vulnerable, so ally support is needed. After painting a large tiger onto his art scroll in ink, Sai will form the needed hand seal to cause the tiger to emerge and attack a nearby stunned opponent. The tiger will both bite and use its claws to grab onto the helpless victim. While maintaining the hand seal, sai will then recall the tiger which will slide back into the scroll while dragging along its victim. The victim will then be sealed away into the scroll and neutralized.
Summoning Jutsu: ѻ Kuchiyose no Jutsu - Summoning Technique ~ C Rank A powerful jutsu, Ninpo Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals and objects to fight on their behalf. The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows them to summon different size and skill levels of creature.
ѻ Gyaku Kuchiyose no Jutsu - Reverse Summoning Technique ~ C Rank Gyaku Kuchiyose no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu which allows an individual to summon a person or being to their location using a summoning scroll. In normal Kuchiyose, the signed summoning contract allows the summoner to call upon his or her summons without the contract present. This modification allows for any individual to be summoned through the use of a scroll tied back to the one to be summoned. This scroll allows the individual to be far away and be transported instantly to the location of the summoning scroll. In this variation, Naruto created two clones to remain at Myouboku and gather Senjutsu chakra. Upon being needed, the scroll seal tied to one of the clones was activated, drawing one to his location.
ѻ Pandas ~ Various Ranks Depending on Panda ~ Custom Contract Hideyoshi came across the Kuroite Panda family on his travels to discover his parents, after accidently falling into the Divine Monochrome Grove; Hideyoshi was set upon by the Panda family almost immediately as they tried to defend their territory. Fascinated by the creatures, Hideyoshi talked his way out of the situation and struck up a deal with the honourable Pandas. They agreed to help him, if he in turn taught them to read and write. As such, this agreement still stands and Hideyoshi can often be seen schooling Pandas in the alphabet.
> Baby Panda ~ D Rank Hideyoshi is able to summon Baby Pandas, although they have pretty much no combat benefit whatsoever, the little critters aren't half cute. Hideyoshi teaches Baby Pandas every now and then and some of them are such big fans that they wear hats identical to his.
> Messenger Panda ~ D Rank A little older than Baby Pandas and slightly bigger too, Messenger Pandas act as couriers for Hideyoshi. They have some basic taijutsu combat skill.
> Panda Sentinel ~ B Rank A large fully grown male Panda dressed in full ornate armour. These Pandas sacrifice speed in order to increase their strength and resilience. They can block most incoming Physical attacks and hit like a hammer if they manage to connect a counter attack.
> Panda Bruiser ~ B Rank Panda Bruisers are fully grown adult male Pandas that often sacrifice resilience and armour for speed and strength. Often carrying blunt weapons like cudgels and maces, their aim is to do as much damage as possible as quick as possible.
> Disguised as a Panda, Teemo ~ A Rank Although seemingly a Panda thanks to a clever intricate disguise; the small rodent known as Teemo has managed to worm his way into the Divine Monochrome Grove and made himself at home within the family. Believed to be a runt of the litter, Teemo is about 3 feet tall, swift and uses a blow pipe as his main mode of attack. He can fire poisonous or blinding darts as well as plant booby trap mushrooms that emit the same slowing and deadly poison his darts are tipped with. However, his most interesting ability is his ability to turn invisible when he does not move for a short period of time [2 posts]. The moment he does move, the invisibility is broken; this includes if he decides to attack or dodge.
> Ninja Panda ~ A Rank A Ninja Panda, unlike the other Panda are specially bred Pandas that are smaller and leaner then the rest of their species. Although still Panda like in physique, Ninja Pandas have been exposed to chakra for a long period of time and are now able to cast basic elemental jutsu depending on their affinity. A pandas affinity is often signified by the colour of his headband.
> Panda Boss, Patchi Kuroite ~ A Rank Panda Boss for near one a century, the wise and powerful Boss patchi rules the Divine Monochrome Grove with a caring but strict hand. Able to change his size to be as big as any of the major summons such as Gamabunta or Manda; Patchi can talk and is a skilled fighter in the ways of Bojutsu as well as Wind & Water Element Ninjutsu. He can cast many techniques up A Rank.
Patchi can also be identified by his pink Kimono jacket that he wears. On the back of said jacket is the ying and yang symbol, a symbol that Patchi has claimed as his family's symbol.
ѻ Emperor's Brush ~ C Rank Hideyoshi may summon the Emporer's Brush to himself or himself to the Emperor's Brush.
ѻ Horse: Rembrandt ~ D Rank Hideyoshi's horse Rembrandt is the Hokage's faithful steed. Measuring 18 Hands, the strong sturdy mustang was once known as the "Demon Stallion" as it seemed to tear through many a village's crops with its herd. On his travels around Fire Country trying to discover his own roots, Hideyoshi came across the beast attacking a young girl whom had sought to tame it. Hideyoshi saved the girl and earned the Horse's respect and in doing so gained a great ally. The horse followed him for three days before Hideyoshi finally caved in and made the horse his familiar. Rembrandt also displays some aspects of chakra control able to walk on walls and over water.

> Paper Crane ~ E Rank Summons One Origami Paper Crane.
> Paper Tundra ~ C Rank Summons a large volume of plain white paper in the form of a storm in front of Hideyoshi.
> Storm of Over 9000 Paper Cranes ~ A Rank Summons a large volume of pre-folded paper cranes. It earned its name "Storm" from the fact the summoning seal appears above Hideyoshi, making the many cranes fall from above.

Cherished Items: Hideyoshi's most prized possession is obviously his Giant Paint Brush due to the masses of effort he went through to obtain it; however, he is also very possessive of a small art journal that he has had since he was a young adult.
Special Weapons:
ѻ Emperor's Brush ~ A Ranked The Emperor's Brush, like its name suggests has a grand tale behind it. Made of a hyper chakra conductive gold and weighing a lot; the brush itself is six foot long from the brush's tip to the pommel on the brushe's end. The abilities of the brush are quite interesting and Hideyoshi often refers to them simply as "enchantments". The first Enchantment which is useful to Hideyoshi due to his Ink Ninjutsu, is that the brush can seemingly produce a limitless amount of ink from its tip when he courses chakra through it. The second enchantment, is that the Brush unless picked up by an Ink Ninjutsu User compounds in weight until it hits the ground becoming unmoveable even by the strongest of opponents. Hideyoshi has sometimes just dropped his brush on people in order to win a fight. The brush itself is made out of an unknown fibre.
Even though the brush and its abilities are interesting, its story is definitely the most phenomenal thing about it. Believed to be used by the Emperor of an Ancient Kingdom, hence the name, the Emperor's Brush was given to him by the God's because of the kind nature with which he treated his subjects. With this brush, The Emperor rewarded his royal retainers by painting for them their utmost fantasies and bringing them to life thanks to the Gods blessings. However, when the Emperor died, his son not only inherited the Kingdom but the Brush too and began to use it for his own gain; with each selfish use of the Brush, it began to grow heavier and heavier and soon it crushed the young Emperor and killed him. Without its leader, the Empire fell in a matter of days thanks to rebellion and unhappy retainers whilst the Brush faded from memory. Hideyoshi found the brush after falling into the ruins of the old Emperor's Castle. After lifting it up he watched as the skeleton beneath it crumbled to dust.
Family Member(s): Due to being an orphan, Hideyoshi is unaware of any relative he may have let alone if they were living or dead.
Friends: Hideyoshi is one of those annoying people whom is over friendly to everyone. Even though he may not lower his guard around strangers, Hideyoshi still treats them with all the compassion and kindness with which he would greet old friends.
Enemies: Hideyoshi personally believes he has no enemies, only "friendly rivals" what those friendly rivals have to say on the matter though is a different story.
Romantic relationships: Hideyoshi is the kind of guy who is so sweet and so kind to everybody whether they be a boy or a girl that it can often go one of two ways; sometimes they may get the wrong idea and think that he really fancies them even though he is just being himself or, when he really likes someone they will eventually put him in the friendzone and walk off into the sunset happy with someone else.
Religious philosophy: Hideyoshi finds it hard to believe in any God or group of Gods who could let the world suffer with sorrow as it does. He believes that the power of change and the power to bring happiness are the same thing and that they may only be brought about by human beings.
Political/social philosophy: Hideyoshi is somewhat of a socialist believing that no one should be poor and no one should be judge for being poor. He believes that everyone has the basic right to be happy and therefore everyone deserves equal rights to things such as healthcare and social support. However even though he may believe that, and I quote, "Everyone, Everywhere, Deserves every bit of Happiness." He also knows that "Everyone, Everywhere, Has every chance of being a Monster." So in case the latter statement is true, he must be prepared to defend the people he champions.
Background: Hideyoshi's tale is one that is long and filled with sighs. Although he would not actually see it or tell it to you that way; in fact, he would say that his past was rather character building whilst others would say it was possibly the saddest thing they'd ever heard. The boy's sorrows start when he was newly born and his parents abandoned him in the Konohagakure Infirmary; no one was quite sure why the promising parents had decided to leave their bouncing baby boy behind but rumours soon flood the streets about the fact that they were spies or that the boy was an accident or that there was some sort of funny business going on surrounding the child. He however, unaware of all of this just simply began to gurgle and grab at the air and the nurses. These same nurses looked after him and cared for him in the first few months of his growth and development before they sent him off to the Konohagakure Orphanage just outside of town. Whereas most other children had cried when the Nurses had exchanged them with the Orphanage matrons; Hideyoshi did not. Hideyoshi instead laughed and began to play with the Matrons' cowls before they took him away to his new home.
Growing up in the orphanage, Hideyoshi was exposed to many different and strange things that not a lot of children would understand. He met with sorrow unmatched as children cried themselves to sleep at night and was bullied, as were most of the children, by the other children as they tried desperately to vent their anger. However, no matter how much they provoked or beat on Hideyoshi; the young boy never raised his voice nor fists. He never even got angry, instead he simply combated their rage with kindness when he drew them pictures or read them stories. The other children confused, soon began to target Hideyoshi more and more but in doing so only drove him to be kinder and kinder. Hideyoshi for some reason had every reason to be angry and failed to be so. Hideyoshi literally had nothing but shattered the stereotype of the bitter twisted orphan and did nothing but try and be nice to people. When he turned ten years old and the orphanage was beginning to fall behind on payments, Hideyoshi even did chores to try and make as much money as he could. He gave every coin to the orphanage and soon word of the strange child and his unnaturally sunny disposition began to circumnavigate the village.
Hideyoshi paid it no mind, he just drew and entered the academy as most boys his age did. He took the usual amount of time to pass through the academy and thanks to his nature earned many different and exciting friends as well as enemies. Yet, he never treated them as enemies which infuriated them more; instead he just proceeded to be kind to everyone and eventually after a few missions and completing the Chuunin exams after three attempts; Hideyoshi suddenly began to feel a yearning for something he had been missing for such a long while. In that moment, he came the closest he'd ever been to being sad and at sixteen decided it was about time for him to try and discover something of his roots and ancestry. Deep down, he wanted a family or at least he wanted to known about his own and with special permission from his preprocessor, Hideyoshi began an adventure into the wild and beyond without a seconds hesitation.
On his travels, Hideyoshi's skill level changed dramatically as he trained harder and harder to attain his goal of finding out who it was that he came from; he found his signature brush, his horse Rembrandt and met with such great and amazing things that he soon forgot the longing for a family he had once felt and felt content to know how far he had come all by himself. His mannerisms even in the face of such adversity, never changed. He carried a love or an amount of love so big and almost physical that he wanted to share it with the world. He was greated with glee everywhere he went as he helped he poor and drew great murals dedicated to many things and upon finally returning to Konoha, a man, Hideyoshi was met with a strange kind of excitement.
Many people gathered to see the walking legend ride into the village on his infamous horse. Some cheered, others simply watched in awe and Hideyoshi stared on confused as even the Hokage came out to meet him; rushed into the Kage's office, the young man bearly had time to visit his old matrons before the Hokage asked if Hideyoshi would help him improve the current social situation within Konoha. Honoured, Hideyoshi accepted the position as Social Secretary and began a vast amount of charity work alongside that of his Shinobi duties. He proved himself time and time again that he was a worthy member of the Leaf Village and eventually, he was promoted to Jounin with special recommendation from the Kage himself and served as the Kage's steward and social advisor as the Kage began to grow old.
A loved face in the village, Hideyoshi was made the Hokage's heir much to many people's disgust and after three years of serving his predecessor/ teacher's wishes; Hideyoshi was made Hokage after the old man died peacefully in his sleep. Now, Hideyoshi has big plans for Konoha and the Shinobi Nations as he wishes to bring about an end to the age of war and death and instead replacement with an age of enlightenment which would be built on love and life.

Battle Strength:
-Ruri'iro's chakra control is extremely refined, allowing him to use the minimum amount of chakra required for even some of his best techniques. -Ruri'iro's fast, but he uses this speed to dodge attacks and carve sculptures, that's it. -Ruri'iro is highly proficent in His Clans Kekkai Genkai as well as in Suiton and Fuuton Ninjutsu. -Ruri'iro is good at Genjutsu, but compared to his mastery of his Kekkai Genkai and Ninjutsu, it isn't as well developed.

• Ice Release: Ice Shuriken- D-ranked- Ruri'iro creates shuriken by combining wind and water chakra. This skill can be done even in hot climates, thus eliminating the need for carrying regular shurikens. These only do as much damage as a regular shuriken can do though and will melt if hit with Fire Release Techniques.
• Hyoton: Hyōrō no Jutsu (Ice Release: Ice Prison Technique)- C-ranked This technique allows the user to infuse their chakra with ice underground and bring it to the surface. The user can then trap their opponent within the ice by controlling its movements and completely surrounding them in the ice. It is strong enough to withstand basic Fire Release techniques, because the ice has already been infused with the user's chakra. This allows to double as a defensive technique, by the user encasing themselves in the ice.
• Hyoton: Hissatsu Hyōsō (Ice Release: Certain Kill Ice Spears) B-ranked The user unleashes giant spikes made of ice if they are endangered. Haku used this technique when he defended himself from his father when he attempted to kill him because of his kekkei genkai.
• Ice Release: Ice Dome- B-ranked- Haku can quickly create an ice dome around his allies and himself to act as a defence. It is strong enough to withstand the assault of many explosive tags at once, remaining almost undamaged.
• Ice Release: Ice Sculpture Imitation Carving- B-ranked- Ruri'iro, in his quest to find ultimate beauty, created this jutsu. As an ice sculptor, he can use his Hyoton chakra to create various animals and objects from blocks of ice as means of attack, recon work, delivering messages, and as mounts. It rivals the Super Beast Imitation Drawing in versatility.
• Ice Release: Ice Clone Technique- B-ranked- Ruri'iro fashions a block of ice into a clone of himself. If it is attacked, it usually shatters into ice crystals after one hit.
• Hyouton: Rouga Nadare no Jutsu [ Ice Release: Wolf Fang Avalanche Technique] B-rank After performing the needed handsigns, the user will cause nearby ice to take on the form of a hunting pack [3] of white wolves. These wolves are completely controlled by the whim of the creator, and are capable of causing severe physical injury on their target, thanks to their speed and raw cold strength. This technique requires an existing supply of water or ice in order to form.
• Hyoton: Makyō Hyōshō (Ice Release: Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals- A-ranked The abominable and tremendous ability, passed down only within the Yuki clan. It is a technique wrapped up in many mysteries. It was said that no method in existence can defeat this technique. In an instant, multiple mirrors of ice are created around the enemy, reflecting nothing but Haku. The opponent is trapped in a dome of twenty-one floating mirrors made out of ice. Twelve remain at ground level, eight float above the first twelve and angled toward the ground, and the final mirror is above the rest and facing the ground. Once Haku has entered the mirrors, it's possible for him to move between the mirrors at the speed of light. It's near impossible to follow attacks sent out from this incredible movement. As every mirror shows his reflection, one could say it's impossible to see all of Haku's attacks. Even if the opponent tries to attack the real body, Haku will have already moved to another mirror. Without eyes like the Sharingan, it will be impossible to keep track of him.
If the mirror Haku is in is broken, he can leap out of one of the fragments and continue his attack or move to another mirror. The technique requires a large amount of chakra to maintain, so Haku's movement becomes progressively slower the longer he maintains the mirrors.
Haku can also form individual mirrors, not restricted to the twenty-one-mirror formation. He can create them high in the sky allowing him to take out airborne targets. The cold which emanates from the mirrors is also enough to cause snow to fall. Though they are made from ice, the mirrors are resistant to Fire Release techniques.
• Hyouton: Haryou Mouko Ice Release: Tearing Dragon Fierce Tiger] A-rank After performing the needed handsigns, a large tiger composed of frozen yet fluid water will upraise, and attempt to crash down on its target. Because of its cold composition, it is capable of freezing most any nearby water. This technique requires an existing supply of water or ice in order to form.
• Hyouton: Ikkaku Hakugei [ Ice Release: One Horned White Whale ] A-rank After performing the needed handsigns, the user forces a massive single horned whale to rise up from a nearby supply of water or ice. Because of its massive size, the whale is only effective as a distraction, on restrained or immobile targets, or as a creature to absorb an incoming blow. This technique requires an existing supply of water or ice in order to form.
• Hyouton: Kokuryuu Boufuusetsu [ Ice Release: Black Dragon Blizzard ] A-rank After performing the needed handsigns, the user will thrust forward their arm, gathering ice and water to their fist. In the same motion, the user will send a coiling torrent of liquid black ice, whose rotation results in the front of the blizzard to take on the appearance of a dragon's head, at their target. Aside being extremely cold, able to freeze nearby bodies of water, the blizzard sustains incredible ramming force. This technique requires an existing supply of water or ice in order to form.
• Hyouton: Souryou Boufuusetsu [ Ice Release: Twin Dragon Blizzard ] A-rank After performing the needed handsigns, the user will thrust their arms outward, gathering ice and water to their palms. In the same motion, the user will send out a twisting torrent of liquid black ice, whose rotation results in the front of the blizzard to take on the appearance of a dragon's head, from both hands. Rather than simply attempting to ram their target, these dragons will converge on a single point, using one anther's momentum to combine and form a large black ice tornado. Aside obvious impact and wind damage, the sheer cold force is enough to freeze bodies of water, and coat enemies in frost. This technique requires an existing supply of water or ice in order to form.
• Kanki Kyouka no Michi [ Frost Reinforce Method ] A-rank The user will surge additional chakra into one of their techniques- during or after formation-creating an interlaced coating on its frame, and throughout key structure points. By applying this coat, most techniques that would typically melt, shatter, or pierce the user's ice, are found worthless.
A Hyoton technique that has been affected by this technique will be resistant against techniques as if it was 1 rank higher than it actually is. So a B-ranked Hyoton technique can resistant damage as if it was an A-ranked technique. The only exception is Fire Release techniques, which will melt the ice if it matches or exceeds the techniques level i.e. B-ranked Ice technique will be melted by a B-ranked Fire release technique.
• Ice Release: White Rose- S-ranked- A unique technique of Ruri'iro's, he created a perfect replica of a large white rose from ice, complete with thorns. The Rose by itself can provide a powerful defense along the lines of Susanoo by him hiding behind it's many petals. At his command, he can have the rose spew out a torrent of snow into the air, blanketing a 100 yards radius with a thick layer of snow (about 6 inches deep). In many ways, this is seen not as an actual attacking Jutsu, but as a way of changing the terrain to his advantage.
Ninjutsu: • Kawarimi no Jutsu - Change of Body Stance Technique ~ E Rank Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.
• Henge no Jutsu - Transformation Technique ~ E Rank Henge no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.
• Nawanuke no Jutsu - Escaping Skill ~ E Rank Nawanuke no Jutsu is a very basic Ninjutsu that allows a ninja to escape from rope binds.
• Kinobori no Waza - Act of Tree Climbing ~ E Rank Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed.
• Suimen Hokou no Waza - Act of Water Surface Walking ~ E Rank A variation on the Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing), the art of water surface walking allows a ninja to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water.
• Shunshin no Jutsu - Body Flicker Technique ~ D Rank Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu. The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.
• Kai- Release- C-rank Kai is a Ninjutsu which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.
• Suiton: Mizurappa- Water Release: Wild Water Wave- C-rank Water gushes out from the mouth like a waterfall and washes away the enemy. One can freely control the power of this technique with the amount chakra one releases. Having many variations, this is a basic Water Release technique.
• Suiton: Mizu Yari- Water Release: Water Spear- C-rank A simple water jutsu in which Ruri'iro forms a spear out of either the surrounding water or his own chakra and then hurls it at his foe.
• Suirō no Jutsu- Water Prison Technique- C-rank This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. It can also be stored in scrolls as traps.
Water clones can be used in preparation for the technique, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own water. Neji Hyūga was able to use his ability to release chakra from all of his tenketsu simultaneously to disrupt the flow of chakra and break the prison.
• Sensatsu Suishō- Thousand Flying Water Needles of Death- B-rank Using this technique, Haku gathers some water from the air and surrounding environment into one thousand long needles. He then directs them to a specific target at high speed, leaping backwards before impact so he doesn't get caught in the crossfire. While the needles do surround a target from all sides, they don't appear above the target, creating an escape route. Haku is able to perform this jutsu with one-handed seals, allowing him to pin an opponent's arm and attack while they cannot use any techniques themselves.
• Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu- Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique- A-rank This technique extends water over a large scale, surges and rises up to several dozen metres high. Then it streams down to the ground in one big cascade, much like a gigantic waterfall. In doing so, it resembles a huge wave, with tremendous power that can hollow out the ground. What remains after that technique's utilisation is reminiscent of no less than the aftermath of a natural disaster. This is a considerably advanced ninjutsu, and activating this technique requires a fair amount of chakra.
• Kamaitachi no Jutsu (Sickle Weasel Technique)- C-rank This bold move is Temari's speciality. By freely manipulating the gale brought forth by her Giant Folding Fan, the many air currents collide and create vacuum pockets. The person enveloped by this gale is assaulted by countless invisible blades, carving up their body. Also, the strong wind power will blow away all incoming projectile weapons and will even make the opponent unable to stay on their feet. Temari has also shown the ability to manipulate the form of the gale, creating a tornado to envelop and lift her opponent, while also cutting them several times. In Part II, she is skilled and accurate enough to cut away the armour of a samurai without injuring the wearer
Fūton: Shinkūgyoku (Wind Release: Vacuum Bullets)- C-rank The user takes a deep breath and then exhales several small blasts of wind chakra in such a manner that they are dispersed over an expansive range, enough to make it difficult to avoid them entirely without taking any damage. Due to the properties of this technique, the expelled blasts are capable of piercing into and potentially through an opponent's flesh when they collide, in a similar manner to how bullets function.
• Daikamaitachi no Jutsu (Great Sickle Weasel Technique)- B-rank This technique is a more powerful version of the Sickle Weasel Technique: many air currents collide to create vacuum pockets that slashes the opponents, with enough power to slice down many trees in a forest. This technique can deflect both physical and sound wave attacks and attack at the same time, making it both an offensive and defensive technique.
• Fūton: Shinkūha (Wind Release: Vacuum Wave)- B-rank The user takes a deep breath and spins while exhaling, compressing the released air into a solitary blade of wind that covers a substantial area around the user, due to their circular motion. The resulting sharpened blast is large enough to slice through multiple targets located a significant distance from the user, causing grievous injuries to those hit.
• Fūton: Shinkū Taigyoku (Wind Release: Vacuum Great Sphere)- B-rank A stronger version of the Wind Release: Vacuum Sphere technique, where the user instead chooses to compress the entirety of the previously inhaled breath into a single large, crushing sphere of wind chakra that they then proceed to expel from their mouth.
• Fūton: Shinkūjin (Wind Release: Vacuum Blade)- A-rank The user exhales wind-infused chakra onto a weapon in order to increase its sharpness, range and lethality. For example, the user can infuse a kunai to resemble a makeshift scimitar or infuse shuriken to increase their range and cutting power
Genjutsu:
• Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu- Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique- D-rank This is a genjutsu that reveals the fears that dwell inside people's hearts. Everyone has an image of the one thing they wouldn't want to ever see. This genjutsu is a technique that draws forth such an image from within the heart and has one mistake it for reality. First, an imaginary circle of leaves will spin around and envelop the target, falling away shortly after. After a short period, the illusion will begin. This is to make the illusion more convincing, since the user will likely have moved before the illusion sets in. If the mental image is a gruesome one, the shock will be accordingly great.
• Sly Mind Affect Technique - Kori Shinchū no Jutsu - C-Rank This technique allows the user to change the enemies sense of direction as they see fit. When this technique was evoked, the enemy was forced to walk around continuously in circles by making it seem as if they're walking straight to their desired destination.
• Kokuangyo no Jutsu- Bringer-of-Darkness Technique- A-rank This technique exerts an hallucinatory effect upon the eyesight, effectively blinding the opponent. No matter how skilled an opponent may be, they are forced to wait helpless in this world of darkness, as this technique allows the user to attack unseen. Although it negates sight, it does not stop the other senses.
• Nehan Shōja no Jutsu- Temple of Nirvana Technique- A-rank It is a powerful genjutsu that generates a fluttering rain of sleep-inducing, illusory white feathers. Whomever sees them as they fall, piling up and covering the whole target area, will experience Eden-like bliss and fall into a state of tranquil slumber. No matter how much one resists the hypnotic spell, the desire to sleep is instinctive, and there's no fighting it. However, an experienced shinobi will be able to dispel the genjutsu before it takes effect.
• Ice Illusion- Fortress of Solitude- A-rank A powerful Genjutsu of Ruri'iro's creation, after he does the seals, the victim feels a cool wind over their body. The next thing they see, is being trapped in a fortress of solid ice, cutting them off from any sound or sight. The person would feel as if they are being constantly frozen. In the real world, they are just standing where they were before they were affected by the Genjutsu. Another person, if they can identify the victim has been affected by genjutsu, can snap the victim out of it by physically hitting him. Or other Genjutsu breaking techniques or methods will work against it.
Fuuinjutsu:
Shikoku Fūin- Finger Carving Seal- C-rank The user concentrates chakra into their finger and using the heat from that, can apply writing of whatever they want to a surface. This technique however requires them to be very delicate with their chakra control. This technique causes slight discomfort for a living target and if it is on flesh, it will scar.
Fūka Hōin- Fire Sealing Method- B-rank A kind of fūinjutsu that involves sealing a technique's effects within a specific location. As it is tailored for fire release ninjutsu, it requires a caster well-versed in the exacting art of "Sealing Formulas", as well as in ninjutsu. The jutsu-sealing space in the scroll is left blank, for the formula to be inscribed in with a brush. After performing the needed hand seals, vapour appears from the scroll, and envelops the flames. They are sucked in towards the scroll, and the appearance of the kanji for seal (封) certifies the technique's completion. Once the sealing is performed, the technique's effects cannot be released anew as long as an unsealing technique is not applied. It is an effective technique to circumvent any secondary damage a dangerous enemy technique might cause. It is even capable of sealing the black flames of Amaterasu.

Clothing: Usually wearing tight pants and shirts, with stylish jackets to protect from the cold and leg warmers.
His Kage garb is normal for a man of his station, but the inner robes and the hat are colored gray, and the hat has the Kanji for "Snow". The inner robes are also more insulated to protect against the cold, which usually means he ditches the robes when in warmer climates.
Twin fans Ruri'iro uses with his Ice Carving and Fuuton techniques. He received these from a man in Sunagakure, who taught him Wind Release Ninjutsu and how to use the fans. Made of steel and able to channel his chakra, Ruri'iro can use these fans to carve off chunks of ice with a simple swing, making intricate works of arts in seconds.
Also when Ruri'iro channels chakra through the fan, he can sharpen the edges of the fans to be as sharp as any blade.

Political/social philosophy: Ruri'iro's village is small and as such, he looks out for the village's continued survival and eventual rise to power. As such, he looks out for the people, to make his people happy and prosperous. After all, happy villagers will do more work and have more pride for their hometown.
Background:
The Land of Snow. A harsh country burdened by constant snow with very short growing seasons. Here, you either survive by your wits or you die and get buried in the next blizzard. This is the country in which Ruri'iro was born into. His mother and father were both born with the Yuki clan's Kekkai Genkai, Hyoton.
His clan was one of many in the snow country constantly fighting each other for territory and precious few resources you can get in a land of snow. As such, Ruri'iro grew up in a harsh times and began to appreciate the beauty of everything he comes across, for in a fleeting moment, that beauty can be lost. At a young age, he proved himself to be a master of his Kekkai Genkai and gifted with an immense amount of chakra, even among his people. While growing up, he was basically groomed to lead the clan against their enemies. Yet he didn't want to lead a clan to war, he dreamed of a day when all of the clans in Yuki no Kuni would drops their kunais and live in peace, united like the Nations beyond their borders.
So he ran from his clan and went on an odyssey around the world, visiting each of the Great Nations, improving his skills and learning new ones, and jotting down notes on how each of the main Shinobi Villages were run. Along the way, he learned Water Release Techniques from a man in Kirigakure, and Wind Release Technique from Sunagakure, where he also got his fans.
When he came back to the Land of Snow, he claimed his right as the leader of his clan, violently though, and after several battles, the other clans agreed to a truce between them and the Yuki clan. Similar to how the Uchiha and Senju united to create Konohagakure, the Yuki Clan, under Ruri'iro's leadership, and the other clans of the Snow, created Yukigakure, the Village Hidden in the Snow.
When it came time to choose the leader of the new village, the vote unanimously went to Ruri'iro. Donning robes styled after the Five Kages, but with the Snow Countries own personal touch, Ruri'iro will become known as the First Yukikage, or Shodai Yukikage.
As the first of his station, it will be his job to build the village's infrastructure, it's academy, and it's way of life while staving off threats from those unwilling to submit to the new system or from outside forces threatening to destroy the fledgling village. It will be a tough job, but with head held high, Ruri'iro stands ready to face it.

Future Yukikage The White Rose Health: Simply magnificent Mood: Shocked and ticked, yet intrigued Thoughts: Who was that Hideyoshi guy? And how can his drawings match my sculptures in beauty? Chakra: Full.
Ruri'iro was a storm of emotions. Anger, curiosity, and shock all boiled together in a melting pot that signified a bad day for the man. He had entered a contest in the Land of Hot Springs, looking to make a name for himself in the world after visiting three out of the four current Great Villages. He was on his way to Konoha when he heard of a festival celebrating the end of a great was between Akatsuki and Aoigetsu, legends he only heard from oral retellings from his village elders. Was the legends true? Regardless, he decided to enter this contest to prove his Ice Sculptures were the most beautiful form of art in the world.
The competition was fierce, but Ruri'iro was confident his victory was assured. Artists from all over the land and from many different disciplines participated. When it came time for the judges to observe their work, Ruri'iro displayed his statue proudly Sculptures of the Shinigami, believed to be the masters of Aoigetsu. Victory was assured, within his grasp. So close he could taste it. And then another artist showed a work of similar grace and beauty: a mural depicting the struggles of two Uchiha Brothers against the Chiyura. Though he fumed at the rival artists work, he was amazed at the detail of the drawing. Like the gods themselves were directing his paintbrush.
When the judges deliberated, Ruri'iro was proud of his work, assured himself that he couldn't lose. But then they came back with an unprecedented decision: the contest was a draw between Ruri'iro and the man who painted that magnificent drawing. It was the foppish pretty boy that threw down the gauntlet: a challenge the other artist accepted. A duel to determine who was the greatest artist in the Shinobi World. The place they were meeting: the Southern Coast of the Land of Hotsprings.
"I will show him. I will show that petulant upstart that I, Ruri'iro Yuki, is the greatest artist this world has ever seen. My skills with sculpting is only matched by my beauty. There is nobody else better than me!" he said to himself as he waited for the other man to show up. Once he does, their destined duel will begin.

However, this was not an occasion that the young Konoha Artist could stand around looking at the pretty landscapes; he had no idea how it happened and deep down he still kind of regretted it but somehow he’d managed to offend someone. Things had been such smooth sailing too: He’d come to terms with himself, found his new signature weapon and had also made his new Panda friends. It seemed as if were grand and lovely until Hideyoshi had begun the home stretch.
It had all started because Hideyoshi had decided, well, to be himself. A small boarder town on his way home was having a festival and like the nice guy he was; Hideyoshi had decided it best to socialise, get to know people and participate. However, when his primary talent for art and drawing demanded that he take part in the Festival’s Annual Art Competition; Hideyoshi had dove head on into the fray and got stuck in with the best of them. It had been hot, so hot that Hideyoshi took his hat off but after selecting a wall in the small town as he often did in villages he passed through, he got to work on painting one of his greatest murals to date. The theme had been the tales of the Aoigetsu versus Akatsuki war; an event that had almost descended into the realm of Mythology thanks to the God like natures of those involved. It was almost admirable really, the fact that someone had become so powerful and so potent in the world of the living and even in Death stayed in the minds of their victims. Although, neither side was very high in Hideyoshi’s esteem due to the amount of innocents the war consumed.
If you wanted to be a God, there just had to be better ways. You didn’t have to destroy the homes of thousands, end the lives of millions just because you wanted a bit of recognition. Hideyoshi truly believed that. As he thought about it, it actually made sense as to why he chose art as his ‘thing’ if that was genuinely his viewpoint. Art was one of the only things he was good at and as an orphan you tend to hold onto whatever it is you’re good at and cherished it, due to the fact it may have come from your Birth parents. However, it also made sense that as an Artist, immortality was within your grasp via peaceful means. That Godlike status those warriors fought so hard for was in your hands even though it was only metaphorical; it was good enough for Hideyoshi. It was then that his inspiration came to him and Hideyoshi took out his paint brushes, summoned a small pallet and began his work on the wall swapping between his small regular art brushes and the Emporer’s brush where appropriate.
His mural would be dedicated to three of the most prominent members in the war; two were once Shinobi’s from Konoha recruited by the Shinigami’s Champion Seijin to fight on the side of Aoigetsu: Uchihas Masshu and Adderson. The Twin Terrors. Whilst the others was someone that had inspired fear and disgust in equal measure in Hideyoshi since he was once used as a deterrent for bad behaviour in his orphanage: Kumovadra Chiyura, the former Water Lord and living nightmare. The Matron’s used to say that the Shinigami, whom had killed Kumovadra using a vessel he had once corrupted, would unleash his most prized possession upon the children if they misbehaved and it used to work too. They were great story tellers at the Orphanage. He always remembered the white razors that formed the monster’s hair and his shadow that seemed to cast itself a thousand whole leagues before even considering stopping. All three were truly terrifying specimens, if it took the intervention of a God to stop them.
Hideyoshi though, didn’t quite believe the stories. It seemed farfetched and unreal but it was the only thing that came to mind and when the mood took him, it just took him. It reminded of home, how close he was and suddenly it was done. Kumovadra’s white hair spread across the wall as a long serpentine tongue hypnotised the world. Masshuu, stood firm, the world warping around him as it seemed to do with all Genjutsu specialists and finally from nowhere stood Adderson: His eyes ablaze with the madness and fury of all he’d seen and done. Greener than the sea, more precious than any emerald.
Hideyoshi didn’t remember much of what happened when he stepped back to admire the finished article. People stopped and stared. Others almost fainted at the beauty of it, whil;st another hacked away at some ice in the background. He was trying to recreate the Shinigami, beads in hand, sickle in mouth but whilst he did that everyone was drawn to Hideyoshi’s mural and the aura of great disaster it spoke of, the struggle that seemed to emnate from the realms of fantasy and artistic expression to real, solid life as they knew it then. The artist simply picked up his hat and sat and watched the carver, hacking away and with a slight smirk was impressed by the beauty and craftsmenship of the sculpture. It was impressive, maybe just as impressive as his mural and as the two waited for the winner to be announced; Hideyoshi couldn’t help but feel the man’s eyes burn into the back of his head.
It was when the contest was called to a draw that things got... Messy…
The ice sculptor, a feminine man, allowed his anger to flame amazement. It was somewhat dazzling at first but soon there were duel challenges being thrown about and insults hurled every which way one could see or hear. Hideyoshi had tried to calm the situation but upon seeing his apologies and objections were falling on death ears, the young man knew he would be forced to confront the sculptor and try and somehow convince him that a fight was really not what he wanted.
So, here they both were poised to duel to the death or as destiny foretold and all Hideyoshi could muster from his lips was: “Are you really sure you want to do this? I mean, REALLY sure?”

The raven haired, feminine man turned his body when he heard his opponents voice. Those green eyes of his stared at Hideyoshi with a volatile mixture of acidic hate, yet grudging respect for the taller, but much younger man. A frown was etched across his face as the wind blew his long hair to one side. The air was warm, much warmer than he was used to from his homeland in the Snow Country. But for some reason, he liked the warmth. It allowed him to take off the heavy cloak he was used to wearing while traveling, "Do I look like a man who backs down from a challenge? When I say something, I mean it."
Ruri'iro's hands went to his left side, where both of his fans were holstered, and took one of them into his hands. White as snow with intricate murals on the face, they looked pretty delicate, but where actually quite strong, "Although, unlike other challenges I have made, I find this one to be particularly special. See, I have never met an artist as skilled as I am until today. Some people may think of this as destiny, and they may be correct, but I feel that we share a kinship via our artistic tools. It would be such a shame to paint this magnificent landscape red with your blood, so I won't kill you. However, I will show you that int eh end, my art is superior to yours!!!"
As he was talking, the man formed several handseals with his unoccupied hand and exhaled frosty air, which formed into many small pieces of ice. After a swipe of his fan, the pieces of ice formed into well crafted songbirds that fluttered around Ruri'iro. As they tweeted their song, the man closed his fan and pointed it straight at Hideyoshi, "My name is Ruri'iro Yuki from the Land of Snow. May I have the pleasure of knowing my rivals name before we dance?"
The last name should be familiar to Hideyoshi, as Ruri'iro's clan was pretty famous for their Kekkai Genkai. Though more likely than not, they were thought to be extinct. Obviously by the fact Ruri'iro was alive, they are still very much alive, but where he came from should be relatively unknown to most shinobi. The Land of Snow doesn't get many visitors or invaders for obvious reasons, so any documentation of Ruri'iro's home was few and far between. Probably explains why everyone thought his clan was extinct.
