Kishi tilted her head, confused. Wait, the little girl is a chick? Did a Faun do naughty things with a bird? Was that even possible? Maybe she'd stay away from abominations like that. She reached up to scratch her head, and was going to ask for clarification but decided it might not be for the best lest she learn more of the bird-humper. Thinking the daughter was likely damaged in the head, Kishi nodded at her conclussion, and just muttered, "Well, I guess I can see why she'd need help providing for herself."
She smiled shyly at his comment and nodded, a little disappointed that he didn't ask about the situation, because she liked talking to him and would have liked to tell him more about herself. He apparently only liked talking about his job though, and that made her a little sad inside. "I'll refill our mugs," she said and stood up, grabbing both steins and heading to the bar. She returned only a few moments later, resuming her seat and sipping the first taste of her mug, as she had the one prior.
"So how are you liking your nook? Has the Tree been accommodating for you?" she asked curiously, knowing he wasn't born here, or anywhere near here, are this land, so the culture could have been different from what he was used to. 'Missing home?"

Gulliver nodded and waited for her at the table, though he did turn in his seat and watch her move. A soft smile graced his face, a thought on his mind. When she returned he thanked her and took a gulp of his "Ahhhh, good stuff, thanks for introducing me to this flavor" Setting the mug back down, he heard her question and thought about it for a moment, "Well, one of the few true friends I have made helped me find it. So I would like to think that I find it comfortable. Laisidheil has been very good to me over the past couple years. To some degree I do miss where I came from but every situation has it's pros and cons.... But enough about me, you mentioned about being a lost acorn once... Tell me about how you came to be 'un-lost' "
