Before the prophecy was discovered, Lisker was a simple soldier in the Durandals army. He was not a high ranking officer and had very little in terms of wealth, but he had a heart of solid gold. Lisker would go out of his way to help those in need even if it meant his own life. In a recon mission to check a burned down village for survivors, Lisker gave his life to protect a child from a powerful demon. This act of pure selflessness was said to be acknowledged by Verive herself, because while his body was left a rotting corpse, his soul had transcended to that of a god. The people of Elyris now pray for him in the hopes that he will bless them with the power to do what's right, and this cathedral was built in his name.

The entrance to the cathedral looks like a quaint abbey, with some trees here and there. Upon entering the cathedral, stained glass windows of Saint Lisker's symbol (The Mark of Blessing) covers the walls. Large columns line the sides of the main hall as it looks somewhat like a church; benches laid out facing the altar, a statue of Lisker and a podium with which prayers can be told and heard. Towards the left near the entrance is a door leading to the sleeping and dining quarters, and to the left closer to the middle of the hall is an open training grounds, where the Templars can hone their skills to be used to thwart evil wherever it may be.
