Legend tells of a clearing, a clearing found so deep within the woods that dot the Fire Country that it is impossible to find without some sort of divine guidance. Many adventurers both rookie and veteran have tried to find their way to the clearing but never manage to make it and even fewer manage to return. After years of this the clearing, which became known as "Nature's Cradle", soon disappeared into folklore and myth. Never to be found by humanity.
However, the Cradle is not only real but dangerous. Although not much exists in the grassy plane clearing save a small pond and a large cave that leads into a mountain; there is nothing much in terms of terrain here but there is much in terms of mystery. When one enters the clearing, they will notice the large concentration of both normal and strange animals that seem to be passive whilst they are in the clearing, almost as if they are intelligent. Bears will dine with wolves when usually the two predators would be warring and lions, that are normally not native of the Fire Country countryside lay upon the many different rocks that litter the clearing.
But even though one may find themselves surrounded by all these strange, docile animals: They should not be the main concern of anyone whom manages to fumble their way into Nature's Cradle. Nature's Cradle and the large cave that leads inside the mountain is the nest of one of the legendary tailed beasts. Chomei the Shchibi or Seven Tails has made the clearing his home and protects it from human interference aiming to preserve it.
