Melanie was both shocked and saddened by the fact that she was caught in a rope made of chakra. This only meant that Yuffie had lost in her battle, either that or she was working for the enemy now, an ambush of sorts against Melanie. Melanie was just about to formed the hand signs for a mirror to go through when suddenly another shinobi appeared behind her, striking her with the eight-trigrams technique, killing Melanie before she could really do anything to stop the skill. Melanie collapsed on the ground and as she did so, the raining shards ceased and the ground made of glass began to shatter, forcing shards to stick up all over the ground, easily able to pierce the foot of someone who were to step on them.
************* Hikari walked across the glass, carefully as she could, although she cut herself several times before getting back to the land. She looked at the body of the Chunin and the Jonin, wanting to say something but not finding the words. She decided this was a problem for her village and it didn't concern the shinobi escorting her.

Eye Color:Brown Personality: Military minded. And has a tendency to overreact to the point that it has noticeable effects on her health. Very self conscious about her body under her armor. Tends to be a brutal teacher as that is the way she was taught. Doesn't respond well to threats. Has been warned by anbu numerous times about hostile actions and violence. She is a good shinobi but has a bit of a temper. She doesn't make a very good spy however as her normal attire stands out quite a bit. She is more suited to close guard of a high value target. In combat she is not beyond dirty tricks to put her opponent out of action and is incredibly aggressive. This however seems to go against everything people see of her during the actual combat. She can be trying to bash your own weapon through your head and still have a coherent plan of action should the person respond Nindo:"Everything has its purpose"
Ashlan would give a final scan of the area before sealing both the bodies into a container scroll. She shut down her byakugan after declaring the area free of hostiles and walked over to the girl, picking her up off the ground without a word, due to her bleeding feet she really just didnt want her walking on them. She would continue towards Taki, expecting the group to follow her and lady hikari.

Raiden sighed in relief once Ashlan had arrived to help him, although he was rather embarrassed to see her company. Ashlan was able to defeat her enemy, probably with little problem at all, and she arrives only to see him backed into a corner with very little options. Who knows what would have happened if she didn't come. At least, he could be satisfied with his ability to protect the client, which he felt he did a decent job on, but could easily be improved. Ashlan was able to defeat the enemy with a minimum of three moves- astonishing. Shards of sharp broken glass stuck up from the ground, as the three carefully made their way back onto the path, to resume their journey to Takigakure. Raiden and Take followed closely behind Ashlan, who was holding Hikari in her arms. Raiden rubbed one of his arms as he looked down at the ground as they continued forward. "Thank you Ashlan... for helping me. Your skill is truly remarkable in the field of battle, might I add." It was his first time ever getting to see a Hyuga in action, as she was worthy the Hyuga name, which he has heard so many good things about. Still concerned for Hikari, the constant thought of the many things he did wrong in his position as a guard. "Lady Hikari, are you alright?"

Hikari blushed immediately after being picked up. She didn't like to be treated like a little kid, but her feet had all sorts of cut on them. She put her hands together, and they began to glow green. She then reached over and put her hands over her feet and the shards of glass slowly came out and the cuts sealed up. "I-I'm fine." Hikari wormed out of Ashlan's arms and bowed. "Thank you both so much- those two were..." Hikari bit her lip, she was only a child after all, she really wanted to tell them who they were, "Those two were shinobi from my village. Thank you for stopping them from harming me." Hikari frowned as she thought about the shinobi. She didn't know how to handle their death before her eyes, well, the Chunin anyways. It was rather scary to know that this woman standing before her was capable of ripping off skin with just her palms. "I'll be coming back to Konoha in the near future for a follow up meeting. My mother and father and far too busy to travel so far out of the country so they've left me in charge of affairs as an ambassador. They thought it would be wise for their daughter to make visits as it would be more personal." Hikari smiled happily, trying to put death behind her, "I was originally going to have a large squad transport me to Konoha but my mother insisted that I wouldn't have any trouble so Shelia came with me the first time. It's such a coincidence that two shinobi from my village were trying to kill me. I bet they just went rogue or something..." Hikari shook her head, confused by the whole mess.

"That would seem possible, thought it just doesnt feel right. Two people going rogue and after the same target, openly. Do you have any enemies back home? I just dont know..." She would say as she let the girl down. She felt like hanging around taki after delivering her. Just to make sure. Rouges were a rare case in villages let alone two.

Although they had lost time with their little encounter, their increased pace seemed to make up some of it. In the far distance, an area full of life and renewal was slowly approaching. The endless stretch of lush green treetops covered the horizon- they were getting close. Raiden couldn't help but wonder why those two kunoichi were after Hikari, and the sense of them being both rouge, and working with each other, didn't come clear to him. He nodded in agreement with Ashlan, who was trying to decide weather they should stick around for a while longer after they arrive in Takigakure. To pass by time, as they continued, Raiden started to juggle his two Tanto, out of complete boredom, catching them by the tips of their sharp blades, then tossing them up again. With many, many years of practice was he only able to accomplish this feat.

Hikari shook her head no. "No enemies, although my brother hates me, but that's only because I was born before him so I'm next in line to the throne." Hikari giggled before growing silent.

They would arrive at the gates several hours later with Hikari being quickly greeted by two Takigakure Nin. "Thank you Ashlan and Raiden. I don't know what I would've done with you two. I'm sure Queen Ancestral will be most shocked to know that I was attacked by ninja from my very own village. Hikari ran over to Raiden and gave him a kiss on the check before blushing scarlet red, "And thank you for keeping me safe against Chunin Melanie. T-Tee-Hee!" Hikari walked gracefully into the village with the two shinobi by her side. Before she was out of sight, she turned around and waved goodbye to the shinobi.

They finally arrived at Takigakure, and what a sight it was! Raiden had never seen a place like this before, his eyes wandering around the magnificent features of the place. They stood before the gates, where Takigakure ninja greeted their princess, bowing to her with utmost respect. Hikari thanked them, and he was glad to be of service. Suddenly, something of the unknown made contact with his cheek, sending an electrifying feeling through them. Princess Hikari had just given him a kiss! He has never been kissed before, making this his first time, and he wasn't sure how to react to it. For once, his half-slit eyes bolted wide open, his cheeks burning a dark crimson. "N-no problem, it was my duty to do so." He chuckled nervously, putting both of his hands behind his head, his cheeks still red. Take chuckled, grinning, Raiden taking no time to shoot him a glare. He quickly turned to the gates, slowly closing as Hikari waved to them. He waved back as the gates completely closed. He looked into the gates for a while, almost as if he could still see her walking away. He wondered if they would be able to see each other again sometime, so he could show her around their village, an opportunity she missed the first time.

Ashlan stood behind them both, listening in to their conversation. First in line to the throne and a jealous brother. That would just about do it if he wanted the throne instead. Greed fuels violence often enough. The girl deserved better than that, however ashlan kept her mouth shut.

Raiden's cheeks slowly returned to there normal color, and his eyes back to their normal...mellow appearance as he looked away from the gate, down the road they had just taken to get here. He was glad the mission turned out to be a success, and as always, he was ready to do more. He looked over to Ashlan as he started his way down the road, "I'm going to go ahead and head back now, I'd like to get another mission in before sundown, hopefully a tracking or stealth mission. The only way to become a good Anbu is to work on those two skills, right? I mean, there are plenty more, but I'm just taking small steps at a time." With a brief smile on his face, he turned toward the road, sprinting, with Take following behind him.

Ashlan externally sighed. She really didnt want to leave the girl from here but it wasnt her place to stay. Besides, she was due back in Konoha as well. She walked over to the girl and silently put a hand on her shoulder. She very discretely slipped a kunai knife into her pocket and pressed against it to let her know it was there. She then walked off, back towards konoha.
