Okay this has been zipping around my head for the past week or so, probably ever since Chrono posted that thread about how the community doesn't need anymore wrestling guilds.

I know just by posting this I will get some heated backlash, but that's okay. I expect it. Anyways...

So I have this guild right, PCW, Pro-Circuit Wrestling. I've put a lot of work into it, trying to make it as user friendly as possible, and making sure that it is not cluttered all to hell, so you won't get lost if your trying to find something. I've made the rules clear, simple, and short. Organized everything so that it's easy to read, and clear on what is what, and who is who.

PCW only has 4 titles. They are separated fairly obviously. World, Lower Card, Tag, and Woman's. I would tease the possibility of a 5th title, (Hardcore) but that is only if this guild can be as successful as WWFG, E:E, or EWA.

As for management. I can assure you that I am on at least once a day, for more then an hour, so I will be able to update anything within the guild at a moment's notice. So if you think this guild will take make to updates it's results, history, and what have you. You are mistaken, I can guarantee that it wouldn't take longer then a week for updates. However I will do my damnedest to have an update it daily.
So far I'm a one man crew, but I've made it so everything will be easy to move, and matches are easy to book. The more you guys are active the more s**t I can update, and make this guild really fun. Cause let's face it you love it when someone other then yourself is posting your Character's latest news, and updates. Plus since I am one man running this guild, I have opted to not wrestling in it. I will only manage it, so that way when something goes wrong or not in your favor, then instead of blaming each other and causing turmoil amongst the roster, your guys can blame me cause I'm the only crew there, and I'll be the only one calling the shots if a match ain't finished. Or you got put into a match when you asked for a promo, whatever. Blame me, but I will work as hard as can so situations like that don't happen.

Anyways as for the Guild. Please check it out, and reply here with your thoughts on it. It can be anything, from how it's organized, to the design of the images I used I don't care. Be it something nice or mean let me have it.

P.S. If the response I get is positive and people would actually join. Then I want to start off the guild in a big way. So just in case anyone is wondering, when or if the guild does start/open. Then I will be holding an 8 man tournament. A Gold Rush Tournament, where the last two men will fight for PCW's world title, and the semi-finalist will fight for the PCW's TV title. Openings go to the first 8 to ask me to join, or send a request.

My thoughts are this, right now we do not need any new guilds.

During the summer time when activity is higher, is best.

As far as PCW goes, it's way more organized then my guild was, and I have a crew of 6(or 2 I'm not really sure at times)

That being said...

I have made my opinion very clear. Younger guys need more places to go then LWL and X2W. They need veterans that are not only active, but willing to offer newbies advice instead of just pushing them to the lower card. They need a chance to excel...and main event feds so that they may learn how before they try to take on the big dogs. Just like Draze I had a similar idea to maybe have 6 feds total and right now I only see 5.(But mines been locked in the crew forum of my KOTR guild for a lot longer)

Basically what this is is an effort by everyone who is active to search for new roleplayers that might be interested in wrestling roleplay but might not know that we exist. What this action consists of is dividing the active federations into 2 categories and moving people around so that they are only active on one roster for each character that they have(tag teams would be kept together and you can talk s**t about my recruitment threads Cart, but at least I'm scouting for talent rofl )

We would have three Mainstream Federations: WWFG, WWE:E and EWA
---these are the biggest and oldest federations and would be reserved for people who have established themselves as roleplayers within our community. The rosters of these shows would be run by a general manager who did not compete, possibly someone who is retiring but would like to stay around in the sense that they could run a show. The people would be placed onto a roster via a draft held somewhere...possibly here.

In addition to three Independent Federations: CWA, LWL, and a third(PCW?)
----these Feds would have rosters of 8-12 people with ONE title and run small cards that helped up and coming superstars compete in an environment that was similar to EEW Speed. They would place stipulations on the match and get the younger generation of roleplayer a chance to work where they are more or less free to do whatever as the talent from the Mainstream feds would only compete in the sense that they would be teaching...or pretty much jobbing to help the new guy get a feel for just what it takes to be successful here.

Then as people from the Indy feds prove that they are ready they would be invited by the owner of the federation that saw promise in them and would move up from there, vacating the Indy title if they held one at the time at which point the Number 1 and 2 contenders would have a match to crown the new Champion.

It would more or less bring all the guilds together in the sense that guild owners would be trading talent, as well as scouting undercard talent.

If it worked out the way it is intended to, cross promotion battles would be possible seeing as a roleplayer would only be in one guild at a time(in time) you could feature a 5 on 5 of the best each guild has to offer without any problem

This has always been my long term solution as it would make it to where people would only have one guild to be a part of for each character they had...which would limit people getting 'stretched to thin' as that is a complaint I have heard more recently then I have in all my years of doing this. I know this idea is gonna cause some eyes to roll and some faces to hit palms...but if you think about it if we could get more people doing this, then this idea would make e-feds much more interesting for everyone as no two feds would have the same talent on their roster.

Perhaps add 'Championships' to the header of your PCW Encyclopaedia sub-forum as it may not be obvious for a newbie to look there! I'd place a titles thread in the main forum as people kinda like to know who they are! wink

XFactor, as your long term friend and colleague, respectfully, I think you need to work on your own activity before you think about running a guild again.
