OH did I ever mention that I am in love with Hannibal Lector. I own all of the books and movies. Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon, Hannibal, Hannibal Rising. All good stuff also by Thomas Harris.
I used to like a series about dragons, but I can't remember the name of them. They were written by Anne MCaffrey or something like that, I do remember the Land was called Pern and the main character was named Menolly.

Its quite alright. It happens. Thankfully they were written before the movies and they did a pretty good job staying as close to the story as possible without adding too many "hollywood touches" to it. I can't really explain any major differences since you haven't read the books. Plus they did a really close job so you barely missed much unless you're a nut for details like myself xD I will say though that to truly get the wonderfully complex and wonderful mind that is Dr. Hannibal Lecter you have to read them all. <3
