Alright let's get going somewhere, Yeah? I know our Guild is pretty empty at the moment. So what are we going to do about it? I'm wondering if anyone has a plan of advertisement or maybe some IRL friends? Suggestions are very welcome! Also ideas for meet-ups are very welcomed!
Here are some of my ideas for meet-ups
Ideas: -Lloyd Center ((A nice mall where we can just hang out, go to Suncoast walk around and do whatever)) - Kalé ((Japanese curry place that serves nothing but curry for around 6 dollars for a decently sized plate, it's so good.)) - Pirate themed glow golf ((At glowing greens, close to Pioneer Square, I haven't been there myself, but I bet it's super fun! [$9.50 per person])) - Party!! ((I tried planning this before, and it didn't follow through, but it would still be great! We can bring snacks and play games and all that fun stuff)) - Saturday Market ((Also on Sundays! It's a free and cool place to walk around)) - Ground Kontrol ((Classic arcade on Couch street, super super fun and all you need is a couple quarters to play some games!))
If you guys have any other ideas for meet-ups and getting some new peoples all up in here, throw 'em in! Let's talk about and get a discussion going?

I'm not much of a gold person, but I'd probably be down for any of the other ideas.
As for advertising, I don't have any grand ideas quite yet, though I do plan to add a link to the guild in my signature (which I'm finally sitting down and working on).
For some other meet-up ideas... There's Clackamas mall, which is quite a bit larger than Lloyd Center, but it may also be a little farther away for some people. But there's lots of shops, lots of nice restaurants, and even a decent movie theater if we want to hit a movie. Lloyd is getting a little depressing, everything there seems to be closing down. sad
Another idea could be an "annual meet-up"... Say, for example KumoriCon? Granted it's not technically in Oregon anymore, but it's just right across the bridge.
Also, though not completely relating to this guild, everyone is always welcome to come to one of the troops with my Star Wars costuming base for a visit. We'll often go to places that would make an interesting meet location, such as the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum where we trooped a few weeks ago. This probably wouldn't be an "official" guild meet-up, but people could come nonetheless. I'll be there (in costume), and it could be a decent time for guildies to mingle, and good photo opportunities with movie-quality Star Wars costumers. razz If desired I can always post up some information here whenever an event that sounds fitting happens.

I don't really have any ideas, but I think the ones you guys have are great! I don't really have any IRL friends... That's why I like this guild so much. I was excited to maybe make new friends.

You could just hang out around the Portland area just for the sake of hanging out.

I haven't seen much closing down at the Lloyd Center, but I do really enjoy the Clackamas mall, and the green line does go right to it! So yes, all wonderful ideas~ There's also a lot of other cons that happen in the area such as coming the Portland Comic Con in 2 weeks, New Con already passed in December but it's still brand new and lots of fun, also Wonder Northwest is coming up in May, all of which happen in Portland! IosefKoranison I don't really have any ideas, but I think the ones you guys have are great! I don't really have any IRL friends... That's why I like this guild so much. I was excited to maybe make new friends. I'm glad you like the ideas! I can't wait to get this going so you can make some new friends~! PoopingPineapple You could just hang out around the Portland area just for the sake of hanging out. That's very true! We could just go to Portland and just, walk around and hang out, walk around the water front or swing by Voodoo or whatever. Totally cool~

▒ I have one or two IRL friends that also have gaia accounts that I would drag along with me. And I really like the idea of Voodoo, but then again who doesn't? ▒

And I have only met one person in my entire life that doesn't like Voodoo, and that's because she's kinda dumb. Haha regardless, everyone loves the idea of Voodoo!
