"I do not recall seeing any others that looked like yourself. I have seen other medaria with wings, but none had the same tail as your. Your fire is also quite unique to you, I don't believe I have seen any others with fire.." he trailed off, lost in thought, trying to recall the medaria he'd seen.

"But of course, I haven't seen all the land nor all the medaria, so there may very well be others like you," he added hastily.

"I know that there are others similar to myself, we may even have been from the same litter. We all grew up apart though, and I have not seen them since we were kits. There was definitely something.. similar about them, I can't quite recall what it was. Perhaps there are others similar to you as well."

"Even if there aren't other animals, I'm certain I would be able to catch us some fish, they are not very smart prey. I admit I am quite hungry, but I suppose it's to be expected."
He quickened his pace a bit to walk beside her. His ankle was feeling much better now, he'd probably only bruised it, and the thought of food gave him some extra energy. Also, the water would be welcome after being chased by fire. And this water would certainly be the correct temperature.

"I grew up eating a lot of fish, so I became quite adept at catching them. I doubt these ones will be much different from those out at sea, except perhaps less salty."
