"Okay!" Sie exclaimed loudly and stood on the metal rail and glanced over at Chesh. "One...two...shree. Run!" The boy shouted and wobbled on the rail before running down the tracks.
Hikari took the light and switched it on peering into the dusty tracks. Her head popped up at the sound of a yell.
"Did you just hear that Chao?" Hikari asked quickly before falling silent to listen.

Chesh took his posistion on the rail and tensed then ran down across the railing.
Chao paused, froze, then nodded, "yeah..." she listened and, after a moment, began to hear slightly metalic thumps, "hopefully that's them," without much thought the teen jumped down and onto the tracks and started to head off towards the noise.
It wasn't long before Chesh lost his balance and landed on the rocks. Laughing he turned and started to head back and then froze at the eerie light that was a ways down the tracks.
"Er... Sie?" he called, over his shoulders. "Do monstwers live down here?" he hadn't thought about it when they'd decided to come down, but this looked like a perfect place for monsters to hide out.

It was not long after Chesh's unstable moment that Sie followed shortly. Though it was not, of course, because he lost his balance. It was the simple mentioning of monsters. "They better not." Sie said puffing out his chest even though he was shaking inside.
"Any monsters here and I'll...I'unno make 'em dissapear and save Cheshie!" the boy said obeying the rules and running back next to Chesh. That's when he saw the eerie sight and tensed.
"Uh-oh.." He whispered. "Maybe we woke 'em up!"
Hikari followed the teen landing with a thud onto the tracks. "How did they make it down here without hurting themselves?!" She exclaimed as worry overcame her senses once more.

"Maybe..." Cheshire whispered back, tensing his small body while his eyes fixed on the eerie light. He was almost curious about what was behind it. What if it was a huge eyeball? Or a snakey thing? What if it was friendly?
But then again, what if it wanted to eat them? He decided to voice that, "maybe the're hungee...?"
"They little kids, they have powers or something," Chao replied worry tilting her brow and mouth before she continued, "or they're ignoring any bumps they may have gotten."

"If they are hungee then we frow rocks right?" Sie said picking up a pebble and looking at the light threateningly.
Hikari hobbled along nodded at Chao's reasoning. The Ideas she had put out were highly possible.
"This is true." She stated solemnly
"I'un like it Chesh." The boy said becoming very frightened. He stepped behind Chesh wanting nothing more than to cling and dissapear but he'd be damned if he showed it.

"I'un either. They migh' eat rocks too..." Cheshire whispered, fear rising in him as he imagined things with teeth and rocks in their teeth and Sie in their teeth-
Abruptly the boy grabbed Sie's arm, turned and bolted. He wasn't going to take his chances with beam-y eyed, rock eating monsters! "Lets go! They can ea somethin' else if they hungee!"
Chao perked as suddenly a chorus of thumps echoed down the way from them, "...oh hell, they're onto us. Let's go after them!" she said and began to run.
