Adora poked her sister, dissapointed that Galatea wasn't even responding. She decided to finally wait this out until her sister 'snapped out of it'.

Caden woke up with a smirk, glad from the night before. The girl wasn't there anymore. He vaugely remembered telling the girl it was a one-night stand. She got her boyfriend to pick her up before dawn.
Caden hopped out of bed, picking out an outfit that was sure to attract at least two girls. He looked at his phone to see two messages. One from a girl who wanted to know what was 'going on'. He smirked. Didn't she get it? Cutting off all communication was code for 'breaking up'. THe other was from Dart. He was already up?

Adora rolled her eyes. Again. Galatea was in one of her 'moods'. Hopefully she'd be able to respond if Adora got into trouble. This day was meant to be for peace, but it was the most violent day when people clashed and got into fights. Even amongst their own social class.

Caden smirked and texted back. 'I haven't gotten any pregnant yet. And I do want a serious relationship. I just haven't found the right girl yet. Maybe I'll find her today. Everyone has to attend the 'party' today. We might see those two from yesterday. They're interesting.' he texted back. He had a slight hangover, but he was used to it. At least it wasn't so bad that he couldn't function. He made that mistake the first few weeks, and then never again. He drank enough to get drunk, have fun, but still think sort of straight.

Adora, who was ready, waited for her sister to finish. Ten seconds later, she ran out of patience, and went downstairs where breakfast was already prepared. Cereal, as usual. They couldn't afford much more than that. It was always simple meals. The best thing about the party today was free food, and Adora knew her mother would be stocking up on a lot of it. She ate quietly, waiting for her sister to join. Galatea was SO slow in the mornings.

Caden smirked. 'I still can't believe that one girl hit me. And hard enough to knock me down. My face still hurts from it.' he texted. He kept watching the clock. He didn't want to have to go any earlier than he had to. He hated mingling with different social classes. Yes, he was a typical arrogant jerk.

*TIMESKIP TO NOON*
Adora was walking along with Galatea. Instead of obeying the urge to hide behind her sister like a scared little girl, Adora walked next to her, and looked around at the festival around her. It looked forced. People were smiling, and making small talk with the other classes...but it looked false and strained.

Caden knocked on Dart's door, looking at his watch. It was time. Sadly. He sure as hell wasn't gonna go face peasants alone. "C'mon, Dart! Open up!" he called.

Adora was surprised Galatea was actually wearing a dress. Their family was poor, so they didn't have time to shop for dresses whenever they wanted. They were lucky to have enough clothes and food. Adora was just wearing clothes she'd wear every day. Comfortable and look nice, but wouldn't get in her way in a fight.

Caden just shrugged. "Possibly, but it got you outside, didn't it?" he asked. He noticed Dart was wearing his usual semi-formal clothes. "So are you ready or not?" he asked, impatient.
