I awoke with a list on my face, having been jolted wake by the alarm and being smart enough to not get up until I was sure Ciran was gone. It wasn't very long, but waking up with a paper on their face would startle anybody.
I got up quickly and did the things on the list, then I walked downstairs to his battlefield. I let my Pokémon out to stretch, and they played around in the dirt for a while.
I quickly recalled them and started searching for a way out of his gym. I searched everywhere on that floor, but I couldn't find anything. Okay..... If we can't find an exit, I decided, then we make one.
I pulled out my Dragonair. "Dmitri, dragon pulse." I say quietly and point to a wall. He performs the move and I see an opening just small enough for me to squeeze through.
I quickly recall my Dragonair and run to the hole in the wall. I check to see what it leads to. It leads to darkness and I look down. I see water and instantly know where I am, so I say my prayers and jump down. I land in the water and, after swimming to shore and releasing my Pokémon, ask Rose to use flash. The Pikachu does so, I find a Diglet, and ask it to go repair the hole in the ceiling.
I turn away after the Pokémon has done my request with perfection, rearranging the dirt and burrowing back down to me. I give it some treats as a thank you, then it scurries off.
"Who's there?" I hear the voice of the trainer who bid on me yesterday call out. I quickly tell Rose to extinguish the flash and she does so as I hide behind a rock. I recall my Pokémon just as he passes by.
The trainer is holding a flashlight, so it's just enough light for me to check out his profile. He has dark hair, but amber eyes that seem to glow. Almost instantly, the rock I'm hiding behind begins to move and I can see it's colors. It's colors.....
It's a choice have to make, to let this innocent trainer get pummeled to death by a Groudon, or tackle him, saving his life by jeopardizing my own. I bite my lip, but choose the later because the trainer reminds me of someone. After burying my pokeballs in the dirt, I tackle him, pulling him to the ground right as the Pokémon would've crushed him.
I quickly stand up again, kicking the boy to make sure he'll stay down, and face the Groudon. "Don't hurt him, please." I say and my eyes flash before the massive Pokémon retreats when I near it.

*trainer's pov*

I am tackled by a girl who comes out of nowhere the second after I spot a wild groudon. All I can do after she has kicked me in the stomach is lie on the ground and watch her, with no Pokémon, make the beast retreat. I start to get up, because it is my duty as a citizen to tell the Four.

*falone's pov*

Out of the corner of my eye, I see the trainer start to get up and run. "You don't know the way out of here." I tell him, making him stop. "Plus, if you tell them about me, they'll do n autopsy on us both." I smirk as he turns around and I walk up and pet the massive Pokémon. I quickly tie the trainer's wrists and ankles together once he's close enough, then walk over and unbury my pokeballs.
the young man's eyes go wide when I release my pokemon. I quickly walk over to him, "What's your name, dude?" I ask him.
"Bug off, chick." he tells me and I remember where I've seen those eyes.
"Well, that's too bad." I say and start pulling him across the cave floor, "I'm dragon you 'long til ya'll tell me. By the way, how'd you get your legal papers faked enough to become a trainer, Bug?" I ask him and he sighs.
"It's not easy, dragon-girl," He says, "it really ain't. Hey! Didn't I bid on you yesterday morning?"
"Yeah, bugman, ya did. Anyways, c'mon. You and I can help try to save this d***ed region." I say, taking all of his pokemon, but knowing that they're all bug type. My breathing gets harder and I take off my collar, throwing it in the lake I fell into.

I feel an extra presence, but I pay no attention. Then, I have a thought that makes me move. Groudon is a ground type........that means that Ciran can control it better than I can. My hair flaps and I decide to go for a swim.
