Sally's journal is an old composition notebook that her mother gave her, with a doodle of a peppermint candy- her favorite. Inside are pages of slightly childish handwriting and doodles of Sally, usually wishful thoughts of her with friends. Occasionally though, there are pages written in a sharp hand. they appear to be encoded... Sally never remembers those pages. Some of the ones like that are glued shut, by her hand.

Meta name: Sally Species: Slaugh Gender: Female Item: Poisoned Candy Stage: Teen Personality: Sally is a bit (well, more than a bit) creepy, somewhat clingy and/or stalkery, and more than a little bit morbid. This mostly stems from her incredible lonliness and fear, and from Wereloc's subtle prodding. He was, after all, her main 'playmate' for much of her formative years. She half believes all the horrible things he said to her. So, of course, her self esteem is in the dumps. She's sweet, though, and tries to stay optimistic, though, despite the little voice that tells her that she is a horrible freak and should give up. She keeps trying, even when she knows she won't succeed. She tends to smile a lot, even when she is feeling down. As her smile is shark-like and very big, this can be a problem. She doesn't tend to show her teeth so much when she smiles though (it's one of the ways you can tell its her smiling, not Wereloc.)
If and the rare when she is upset, she can have a pretty sharp tongue. She often cries and is very upset afterwards. Offer forgiveness and/or an apology, and she will be tearfully overjoyed.
She likes dark thrillers, movies or otherwise (when she's watching them, it's the only true reprieve she gets from Wereloc, as he enjoys them as well. She also enjoys them for her own merit)
She also, because of her item, loves sweets. She has at least five books on sweets that she saved her allowance for. Sweets throughout the ages is her favorite topic.
In general, Sally is a naive, tormented girl with a slight temper, a strong degree of optimism, and pitiful self esteem.
Malice Name: Wereloc Malice Item: Cannibalistic Soul Malice Personality: Wereloc is a jackass. He was a jackass when he was alive, and he still is. The government called him a monster, and turned him into one and he is happy to think of himself that way. He used to be a manipulator of people's hearts, and still has a smooth, convincing voice and a tendency to lie, all to cause pain. But he discovered an almost literal taste for blood during the great war, and, though he remembers his past life as a cruel, uncaring actor, he remembers killing far clearer. And he remembers when he crossed the line even further and started eating his prey. It was a rare treat.... a finger here, a heart there... At that point it wasn't better than the thrill of the hunt and the kill... But now it's all he thinks about. The taste of blood. The look of horror... mmmh.
He likes to manipulate his host, gently taking control and awareness from her to do whatever he wants to do, either stalking or actually killing and eating some interesting and unlucky prey, using Sally's natural shadowmeld ability to his advantage. He has no fear of being caught. After all, they'll blame sweet little Sally. Not him. He hates Sally. He will do anything to cause her despair and pain. He would like to make her think that he is all she has, then proceed to mentally abuse her. He does this by occasionally allowing her happiness, and then ruining it by taking control and doing something awful or unnerving. When he bores of tormenting her, he plans to devour her weak, sad, little wisp of her soul and take over completely.
In short, Wereloc is a manipulative asshat who takes delight in luring people into a false sense of happiness and security before crushing their dreams and lives... starting with and not ending with Sally.
Sally's caretaker is Maria Samera DeLopez a former supermodel who married a Don. The marriage didn't work out, and there was a messy divorce... Very messy. The Family took it into their hands to 'take care of' the woman before she could testify. Unfortunately for them, she dropped off of the grid before they could grab her.

Maria is beautiful. She is the sort of person that, if she walked in the room, all eyes would be on her. She's softer spoken and shyer than she used to be, trying to keep out of the public eye- and off of her ex-husband's radar.
When she was called in to recieve a Meta child, she hoped that it wouldn't put her on that radar again. But she didn't think she should say no to such a summons, and she had been thinking of having a child. Why not help a child in need?
She brought some candy with her. She had left it unattended in the airport for maybe a few seconds, and thought little of it. Nobody was surprised when the pale, clawed meta went for the candy... But they were when she explained that it was poisoned... that was why she had wanted it.
Sally saved Maria's life that day. She saved it again when a hit man came for them both.... by devouring him. But it wasn't Sally, so much as it was Wereloc showing himself for the first time. Showing Maria that he was there... and that one day the bloodstain on the floor and teeth would be her.
Maria has been scared of Sally ever since. She knows that there is something in there that is not Sally, something that makes Sally cry, something that stops all her friendships before they can bloom into anything.
The Academy hasn't been answering her questions. And she wants answers.
Sally loves her mother, but is convinced (in part because of Wereloc) that her mother hates her because she is a freak. Wereloc enjoys tormenting both her and Sally with his presence.... but he can't wait for the day when he can devour her. He's sure that it will crush poor little Sally...

Active Powers L5 / Summon Candy - Candy Summoning Power
(healing power- May be used as a damaging power at later stages) May conjure either a handful of small candies or a single palm-sized candy (such as a lollipop or cookie). She has to at least have eaten it before, or know the recipe and what it looks like. It's easier if she has tasted a particular type of candy before.
L5 / Devour - Malicious Devouring/Health restoring power
(Wereloc power:Essentially Blood favor, but at half healing effectiveness. Does more damage.)
Sally can use her sharp teeth to bite and attack another meta. She gains health if she eats a piece of them. This works as Blood favor, except in reverse: 1/2 of damage done is healed to Sally (instead of 1/2 of damage healed is done to opponent)
L4 / Poison Spit- Poison-Element Power
(Essentially a ranged poison attack) Sally can spit a blob of poison at an opponent. This poison is skin and eye irritant and, if ingested, causes symptoms ranging from nausea to stomach sickness. Most of the damage it deals occurs when it contacts soft tissue or is injested. It tastes sweet and vaguely of peppermint.
L4 / Sharp Smile- Debuff/Demoralizing power
(Wereloc Power: A too-large sharp-toothed smile that unnerves enemies with its implied violence.) Wereloc/Sally's eerie smile has a chance (opponent's choice or 25%) of unnerving the opponent, causing a lowered effectiveness of 1 level/dice to that meta. It is a chillingly malicious smile.
L3 / Detect Poison- Poison Detection ability
(Sally can sense where and what poisons are involved) Sally can detect toxins, bacteria, and other harmful things, and she has some idea of why they are harmful. Currently, this ability is limited to food.

Future Power Plotting
Her candy summoning power, after level 6, will start becoming absurd- as in candy weapons, creative candies... A multi- use power.
Resistances Shadow or Darkness Attacks- as a creature of darkness, a Slaugh isn't too effected by darkness itself. Poisons - Sally can summon and detect poisons, so she is poison-elemented and immune to them. (Wereloc, however...)
Weaknesses Sunlight- Both Sally and Wereloc are uncomfortable in the sunlight. Love- Sally is emotionally deprived and will do anything for love and positive emotion. Anything. Barriers- Sally cannot go anywhere she is not invited. This applies to Wereloc as well. Typically an invitation counts for both of them UNLESS the person SPECIFICALLY denies the other access. Although typically this just shuts down the powers (cannabalistic soul for Wereloc and Poisoned candy for Sally) it is so uncomfortable (painful, even) that it might as well prevent entry entirely.
Sally has always been plagued by memory lapses and friends who she was close to one day, then alienated from them the next for something she either couldn't figure out or didn't remember doing. One day, as she curled up on herself, crying, Wereloc revealed himself to her, saying that nobody would love her because she was a freak, and that he would be the only one who would ever play with her or care. He proceeded to dominate her, forcing her to play with him. Many of his games ended in tears or sadness. Finally, after a few years of this, Sally decided to try to find new friends again...
Wereloc has been and always will be an a*****e. He used to be a handsome actor, charming and harming countless people. He enjoyed then, as he does now, bringing people close and then abusing them until they were all used up. He got bored with just that... and started murdering. At first, a kill here or there. Then a few more. Then, realizing he could get away with it, he kept going. He was caught, tried, and put to death. Of course, many thought it would be wasteful to just kill him when there was a huge war going on. So, they implemented an alternative Death penalty- he would go to the front lines, kill things, and then end up dead. Problem solved. Efficiency met. He wasn't a fighter, and he ended up dying. But his soul was sustained by the negative energy of the war... and ended up attaching to poison candy (he had so wanted to try poisoning kids!) and ended up inside Sally.
