What's left of the hold the government has on the city Scelus. After the government was over thrown the dome citizens tried to find a place considered a sanctuary. Many couldn't enter the Sanctum those that do live here are the rich and part of the high middle class.
Sanctum is protected by the police, which are now called the guardians. The Guardians consist of one Archangel and three angles in sanctum while the other districts have two in each. Angel's though aren't the only Guardian's,supernaturals and humans work as Guardians as well. They are a special class that believe in equality and justice regardless of what ever species.
Even though the Guardians protect sanctum they have the Unholy gang's protection as well. What the Guardians refuse to do the Unholy do to make sure their is no unbalance to the dome. Though the Unholy is based in Sanctum no one knows where the leader stays or how many people are in the gang.

I've experienced a lot, so to begin I guess I'll start here. Mel has always lived in Scelus with her mother.She was told by her mother that she couldn't recall what the world was like before the domes were made but Mel just figured she didn't want to remember. She was a poor girl living in district one while her mother sold herself to make money. Growing up in the area she grew up a tough and had street smarts but once she was able to go to school and learn as much as she could she was began to live in both worlds of book and street smart. During her mothers sales she would go to her room and draw till her hand would cramp up. She could draw anything that she could imagine or with enough details what ever anyone else imagined. Studying from a tattoo artist she began to learn how to do tattoo's and work magic into them. Her teacher was a supe which she didn't mind it made her life a little more exciting. She was taught how to work potions into the tattoo's to give the customers what they needed for an extra price. Even though she was human people assumed she was a supe as well she was never asked so she never denied it. Working for her boss she began to become better because of her artwork and the price for potions was making her rich. Getting her own shop her mentor helped her get the necessary supplies to get her own shop in District one. When that shop became popular and the rich people wanted some of her tattoo's she was convinced into opening a shop in Sanctum. Now running two places she began to get richer and richer and moved out of District one to live in Sanctum. Though she wished she could take her mother she had passed away before the move was even possible. When she's not busy at work she likes to wonder Sanctum since she never expected to move there. I've experienced a lot, so to begin I guess I'll start here. Ghost was formally a member of the police force along side his partner Archangel. Everything was fine until he was discharged for some reason only known to himself, his old boss, who mysteriously disappeared shortly after, and his partner Archangel who left the force with him. Now he is only known by The name Ghost and keeps his face and voice masked to prevent anyone from finding out who he is. Some think there is a reason beyond his new line of work that caused him to do this but none will know for sure. For now he works as a mercenary, a gun for hire to whom ever can pay his considerable fee which he has earned. He also has an addiction to certain combat stimulants but again no one really knows how that came about other than the man himself. Have I left anything out...oh yeah........

I've experienced a lot, so to begin I guess I'll start here. Archangel followed Ghost away from the force after his discharge. The two had been close through their years of service and planned to continue working together regardless of what had happened there. She too keeps her face and name well hidden to protect herself when she is ever not working but the two are rarely out of work. This proves a problem for anyone in her sights as she really enjoys what she does favouring a more flashy approach than Ghost but it has its draw backs. her experimental equipment has a nasty habit of overheating on her causing it to be useless for a few moments but Ghost and Archangel are still alive and causing hell and will continue to do so for a very long time. Have I left anything out...oh yeah..........
